Pursuing the Love of Rhea
Gavin's Story

Tonight at about 8, as usual Gavin just returned home. A house that is no less luxurious than Alex's house. A house full of memories with my beloved mother.

But tonight it seems like Gavin's steps are hard to enter the house. The reason is because Gavin saw a black Alphard car that had been parked on the terrace and surely his papa was already inside the house.

With a cold and flat expression, Gavin finally ventured into the house.

Without saying hello, Gavin went straight into the house without caring for his papa who was sitting in the living room waiting for him to come home.

" Where have you been Gavin?? You just got home at this hour!! Papa has been waiting for you for a long time."

Papa Gavin, Ardana Wijaya began to stand from his seat after seeing his only child enter the house without saying hello and seemed to ignore him.

" Why did you ask me from where?? I usually never care where I am or what time I go home. Don't pay attention to me. I don't need."

Gavin coldly answered papa Ardana's question. Gavin who wanted to continue his steps towards the room that was on the top floor was suddenly restrained by the papa's cry.

" Wait Vin!!! Can't you be nice with papa. Not ignoring papa like this Vin!!"

Papa Ardana spoke softly while looking at Gavin, while Gavin immediately threw his face in the other direction.

" It's been 2 years since your mom died you never once listened to me. You always avoid like this. At least give papa a chance to be a good papa for you after your mama there is no Vin!!!"

Papa Ardana is still trying to persuade Gavin not to ignore him anymore. The middle-aged man was almost frustrated to see Gavin's stubbornness.

" What did papa say?? Being a good father to me??? Sorry pa, it's late. Ever since my mom died, I thought my dad died. So let's live each of our lives."

Gavin spoke with emotion as he stared intently at Papa Ardana's eyes.

Hearing what Gavin said made Papa Ardana very surprised.

So much hate that Gavin felt for her. Gavin scolds his papa who is too busy thinking about money, to the point that he forgets the whereabouts of his son and wife.

" Papa apologizes Just like you if all this time papa never paid attention to you with your mama."

Papa Ardana paused her speech while holding back the tears that almost fell on her cheeks.

" Papa's been busy making money. Papa used to think with a lot of money can make you and your mother will live happily without a lack of anything. But it turns out papa's wrong vin."

Finally the tears that tried to hold papa Ardana shed as well. He recalled the mistakes he had made in the past.

While Gavin who saw the tears of papa Ardana can only shut up and try to dampen his emotions that had risen earlier.

" When your mama isn't around, papa is very sorry Vin. At least give papa a chance to fix everything Vin???"

Papa Ardana looked into Gavin's eyes sincerely and there were no lies there.

" I'm tired pa!! I don't want to talk about this anymore."

Gavin tries to avoid Papa Ardana. Gavin seems to still need time to forgive mistakes that papa Ardana has made in the past.

When they both fell silent, Gavin decided to leave papa Ardana alone.

Papa Ardana who saw the departure of Gavin just looked at the back of his son with sadness while wiping his tears that were still dripping.

After entering the room, Gavin threw away his bags and shoes at home on the floor. Gavin then laid down his body that felt very tired on the bed.

Gavin tried to close his eyes, so he could forget for a moment the events he had experienced all day.

The incident where he met Rhea again and experienced rejection from the girl.

As well as tonight, Gavin also met with papa Ardana whom he had been avoiding. The person Gavin thought was the cause of him and his mother being unhappy until Gavin's mother passed away.

" Den Gavin didn't have dinner??? Want the mbok to take you to the room??"

An old lady who was about 55 years old asked Gavin politely. He is mbok Darmi. Mbok Darmi was a domestic assistant who worked when Gavin was a child.

" No need to, I ate at Alex's house!!"

Gavin answered gently Darmi's mbok question. Gavin loved Mbok Darmi as much as his own mother. Especially after his mother died, mbok Darmi who became the place of complaint Gavin so far.

" What did Gavin really eat?? Ntar maag her relapse Loh den?? If you need anything, call mbok only den!! If you are already sleeping wake up. Don't you think about it??"

Darmi's good mbok treatment and attention to Gavin, make him smile happily.

" Yes mbok, bawel really!!! I wake up if I need anything. The mbok is calm. I want to go to bed again. The mbok disturbed my sleep, even though I was dreaming of a beautiful girl earlier."

Gavin speaks the origin so that mbok Darmi laughs happy to hear Gavin babble.

" The girl is as beautiful as the geulis den Gavin ever brought here?? What's his name den?? I forgot to."

Mbok Darmi tries to remember the girl that Gavin once brought home to meet Mbok Darmi when Gavin was still Junior High.

Gavin who asked Rhea suddenly became wrong.

" Ihhh the mbok, still want a girl who used to be. Is she pretty, huh mbokk??"

Gavin asked out of curiosity about Darmi's assessment of Rhea.

" Yes beautiful!! Where's the kid being polite again. Fits the same with handsome gavin."

Mbok Darmi seduces Gavin while looking at his chin.

" When do you bring it here again or den??? The mbok became kangen same Eneng. It used to be wrong if he had brought brownies here, right? The brownies are delicious Lo den, Eneng himself who makes it said."

Mbok Darmi spoke at length while continuing to remember his last memories when meeting with Rhea.

" His name is Rhea, mbok. Hopefully Rhea will come back here again. He is angry with me now. Doain just so we'll be better."

Gavin asks for his prayer on mbok Darmi.

" Aminnn, mbok doain so that neng rhea is not angry anymore with den Gavin. So den Gavin don't be naughty, ntar neng Rhea his taken people."

Mbok Darmi gave advice in response to a nod of the head by Gavin.

" Yes, I'm not going to be naughty anymore. I go in first mbok. Good night mbok."

Gavin kissed the cheek at a glance and immediately closed the door of his room again.

While Mbok Darmi who kissed his cheek just smiled happy to see Gavin's behavior.

After entering the room, Gavin lay back on his bed. Folding his hands behind Gavin's head looked at the empty roof of the room.

Gavin thought about what he should do tomorrow to regain Rhea's heart. The girl who had never lost her heart.

After almost 15 minutes of hard thinking, Gavin finally had the idea to pick Rhea up to go to school together tomorrow morning.

Of course Rhea would not be able to refuse him, because Gavin would directly ask permission from Rhea's parents. Rhea's father and Gavin's father were friends in college first and surely she would not be rejected by both of Rhea's parents.

" Can't wait for Rhee tomorrow morning, you won't be able to refuse me again this time."

Gavin spoke alone while smiling happily. Then Gavin tried to close his eyes quickly so that he could wake up early to pick up Rhea tomorrow.
