Chapter 40

Mira and Lian had already reached home, they were both sitting quietly together in the back garden. Both of them really enjoy the holiday, although there is less because Raka even left.

"Well, we should just move to Dad's house" said Mira.

"The house had many memories and it felt hard to stay there again" Lian explained looking at his wife's face.

Mira knows what it's like to be her husband, must be so heavy and sad. Taking a tough decision she had to reconsider, she immediately hugged her husband.

Raka who just came home from futsal immediately sat with Papah and Mamahnya, she accidentally heard the talk of her parents.

"Darling, are you home?" ask Mira.

"Yes, Mah. Raka has also given gifts to Alya," said Raka.

Mira just remembered that today is Alya's birthday, but she told Raka yesterday. Mira then rushed to the kitchen, she would make cakes and cook dishes for dinner.

Lian invites Raka to play chess, but there is time for family. Moments later Mira yells to Raka, asking Raka to grab her coffee and snacks.

"Mommy, just interrupt! later Raka lost to Papah," said Raka when taking coffee and snacks.

"It can be reworked, baby," said Mira as she cut the fruit to decorate the cake.

"Raka come out first, Mah," said Raka.

The cake made by Mira was finally finished, he asked Raka and Lian for help to decorate it earlier. Because it was night to go to Alya's house with cakes and gifts.

The three of them sing a birthday song, Susi and Tio leave the house because they hear people singing.

Susi and Tio welcomed them happily, not forgetting they also thanked them.

"Alya has been sleeping in the room, I woke up briefly, yes" said Susi.

"No, Auntie! we wake up together" said Raka.

They then enter Alya's room, Raka blows the trumpet she carries. Alya was shocked, so he woke up from his sleep.

"Happy birthday, Al," said Raka, giving her the gift she was carrying.

"Thank you, Raka," he said briefly. Alya still remembered when she was at the mall this afternoon with Mira. Coincidentally finished eating soto, Lian invited Mira and Alya to stop by the mall to meet her friend. Inadvertently Alya saw Raka with a woman walking, Alya was about to tell Mira but she undoes her intentions.

One by one they say happy birthday to Alya, then Mira invites them all to dinner at her house.

"Well, Alya's sleepy! no need to come, yes" said Alya.

"Why, baby? we want to celebrate your birthday" Mira said.

"You don't have to be in the first place" Susi said.

"Hey, don't give me a gift" said Alya.

Tio then persuades Alya to come to Mira's house, Alya also complies with her Papah. At Mira's house, various dishes have been prepared.

"Enak it! Mah, can add yes," said Alya.

"Exhaust first! only later added," said Susi stopped eating.

Alya ate voraciously, because this afternoon had not eaten. Alya was busy thinking about who the girl who was with Raka was, but wanted to ask.

"Alya, what's wrong with you? it seemed less happy," asked Lian who had been watching Alya.

"Why did you go to the mall?" ask Alya.

Alya pursed her lips, she then bid farewell to Raka.

"Take care of you, Al?" ask Raka.

"Engga! why should be sulking," said Alya without shame directly sleeping on the sofa.

It did not feel like it was late at night, Susi's family was still at home. They then sleep in Mira's house, there happens to be an empty room.

"Alya slept on the couch, Auntie," Raka told Susi.

Susi and Tio wake Alya up slowly, Alya wakes up from her sleep. Then he went to the guest room of Mira's house

This poor girl had to lose school, she worked hard for her family. Every time he saw a boy his age in school uniform, he felt jealous. He wanted to quit his job, but his family wanted to eat.

Early in the morning Tania was ready to go to work, she was very excited even though she left alone.

Lian was very amazed by Tania's performance, her son diligently always left earlier than the time set by his workplace.

"Tania, is it morning? the office is still closed" said the security guard at the office.

Tania then ran while sticking her tongue out at the security guard, because she did not want to open the door for him.

Inside Tania's office cleaning the room that had become her duty, she cleaned while singing.

"Tania, clean up my room dong! now yes," said an employee of the finance office.

"Sorry, Mom. Tania doesn't dare clean the room, Mother. That's Nando's job, anyway" Tania refused.

"Don't argue with you! clean up quickly," said the man again.

Tania still refused the man's orders, because it was not her duty. He then cleaned the other room.

"What is this photo?" tania asked in her heart, she found a photo on the floor.

Tania looked at the photo, and she kept it in her pocket because she had to finish her work.
