CHAPTER 20 - THAT DAY

Along the way to the office, their smile continued to be plastered on Alex's handsome face. Ayna has now dared to prank herself. He hoped that the seeds of his love would begin to grow.

'Ntar night I will punish you!' Alex smiles smirk while imagining Ayna's innocent body.

Alex parked his car, then he got off and was about to walk into the office.

"Alex." Call a woman.

Alex's steps stopped seeing a woman walking towards him.

"Where have you been these past few days? are you sick?" Mona asked with a worried face.

Alex shook his head and came back about to step up, but his arm held Mona.

"Later tonight we're diner, yuk." Bring Mona.

"I'm busy." Alex answered with a flat face.

"Are you angry with me? that day I had to go home to my parents." Mona said softly. The woman realizes Alex's changing nature.

"Miss Mona, please take care of your attitude." Alex's sharp eyes stared unhappily at the arm Mona was holding.

"Sorry." Mona immediately took her hand off. Alex made her nervous.

"Alex, I'm sorry. I'll accept you now."

The tall man breathed his breath many times. Mona hugged him from behind.

Alex releases Mona's hand and the man turns to look Mona in the face.

"I-I'm willing to be your lover." Mona hugged Alex's body.

Alex was silent for a moment. Mona is the woman he once loved. The man always pursues Mona's love and Mona always rejects him.

Alex does not give up and continues to pursue Mona. Giving the woman a lot of attention, but still she was rejected. His love for Mona always clapped one hand.

Mona gives her a chance to be close to each other before they get into a relationship. It made Alex very happy and happy. But...

"Hello Mon, I'll pick you up in half an hour." Alex said when he called Mona.

"Sorry Lex, I can't have dinner with you. Tonight I was told to go home to my parents." Mona from across there.

"Is anyone sick? I'll take you."

"No, Lex, I'm on the road, too. Next day we'll have dinner. Yea..."

Alex stared at the screen of his phone. Mona has already decided on her call. He looked around him.

Tonight, Alex proposes to Mona, so she can be sure Alex is serious about her.

Alex has bocked a restaurant that has been decorated in such a way. He and Mona will have a romantic dinner at the restaurant. Then there too he would propose to Mona. If Mona receives, there will be a lot of fireworks scattered in the sky.

Now that's just Alex's fantasy. The man understood that maybe he was in too much of a hurry.

Alex chose to leave the restaurant. Maybe he'll find the right time to propose to Mona.

Alex's car stopped waiting for the red light.

"Miss." Alex says he sees a woman walking into a cafe.

Slowly Alex turns his car into the cafe. He immediately went down and entered the roadside cafe which is quite spacious.

Alex is stunned to see Mona who is so friendly with the man beside her. Alex squeezes his hand. Mona lied. Mona said that she went home to her parents, in fact she was with another man.

'Are you playing me?' Alex was angry and disappointed. For what Mona gives him a chance if the woman is still with another man. Is he just considered his backup.

Alex left the cafe immediately. Without Mona knowing Alex saw it all.

"Alexes..." Mona looked confused. Alex refuses.

"If you still want to work here, work well." After saying that Alex stepped wide leaving Mona still staring in disbelief.

Maybe Alex would have been happy if Mona had accepted. But after the incident at the cafe, Alex is disgusted to see Mona. His love for Mona is gone.

The employees looked confused at Alex who was walking while opening his suit. Then throw that expensive suit into the trash. Alex also took off his shirt leaving a plain white shirt. And the shirt was also thrown into the trash.

'Why him?' Jo who just entered Alex's room suddenly shocked. Alex entered the office wearing only a plain t-shirt.

"Jo. bring me a suit." Pinta Alex with eyes focused on the computer screen.

"Good Sir." Speak Jo fast. He doesn't want to ask much. Alex's face was very unfriendly.

Alex continues the meeting with the employees who were delayed a few days ago. The mood for the day is not good. The atmosphere of the meeting feels creepy and makes it bristling anyone who is inside.

"Can be finished." Alex ended the meeting. The employees who were in the room breathed a sigh of relief.

"One more thing." Alex's words made all eyes see him. "If you can no longer work here. Tell me now, I'll fire immediately so you don't have to resign."

With his sharp eyes Alex stared one by one at the employees in the small room. The man was not satisfied with the performance of his employees.

Alex then left the room followed by Jo. Alex took the phone in his pocket. His face instantly changed to smile reading one incoming message. Of course a message from Ayna.

'I miss you, Ay...' Alex felt a deep longing for his wife.

'again drunk in love.' Jo sneered inwardly at his superior. Alex's expression quickly changed.

"Mas." Ayna said showing the frame of their completed wedding photo.

"You're beautiful." Praise Alex who was glued to see Ayna in the screen of the phone. They're on video call.

Ayna's wedding photos are so beautiful. But Ayna who is currently in the screen of her phone is very beautiful and so tempting.

Ayna wears a thin one-stropped nightgown in white . Alex could guess his wife wasn't wearing the glasses. Ayna also scratched her hair. It felt like Alex wanted to pounce on the woman immediately.

"Yes..." Call Ayna who's upset Alex just shut up.

"L-yes, baby." Alex answered nervously.

"Mas, what else is it thinking?" Tanya Ayna was worried. What is because often missing a few days, Alex's work becomes more and more. And it added to the burden of her husband's mind.

"I thought of you." Alex looked into the eyes that saw him too.

"What do you think of me?" Ayna wants to know.

"That-that's..." Alex answered confused. There was no way he could say thinking of something that made her hot and passionate.

"I thought of you because I don't know much about you. What kind of food do you like? what is your hobby? your favorite movie?..." Alex also reasoned long.

Ayna gave a smile, Alex's change of heart was able to make her heart melt a little.
