RANIAKU, MY CANDLE

RANIAKU, MY CANDLE
Chapter 72

"What's that?" my many.

The three of us stared at each other.

"It looks like something broke inside the house, sir," Morgan said.

"Yes, Mr. Morgan is right. There was the sound of things falling and breaking inside there. I became suspicious, don't-don't ...." William hung his words.

"Don't have anyone in there!" we all three at the same time.

Not wrong anymore. It seems our guess is right. There's something very suspicious in there.

Nah! Nah! Nah!

"Master Li! Master Li! Open door! We know you're inside!" I shouted, alternating with the sound of my hand pounding on the door of his house.

"Senior Li! Senior Li's! Open the door, Senior Li! It's me, Morgan!" Morgan was screaming just like me.

"Master, it looks like this house has another door. There's no way the owner of this house would have locked the door from the outside if he didn't have another door to enter" William said.

"You're right, Will. Then let's split up" I said.

"While you're Morgan, you stay here just in case." This time I turned to Morgan.

"Okay, sir," replied Morgan.

After arranging the strategy, William and I each walked down the left and right sides of the house. We did not have time to walk up to the back side of the house, seen a man wearing a shabby black sweater and his hat ran quickly into the forest.

"Master Li, don't run!" my yelling.

"Will, check the contents inside his house, let me chase. Don't let this be just a trick" I told William.

What I was worried about, the man running was just someone who was used to distract us, while the original Master Li was still in there and instead chose to run away after we were all caught off guard and tricked into chasing after others who were used as bait.

According to the information I got earlier from Morgan, that Master Li was once traumatized after all his family members were slaughtered to the ground by the Black Mamba herd. Hence, he chose to leave the big city and chose to seclude himself at the top of Mount Moza, where no other humans lived there other than himself.

"Master Li! Wait up! Don't run!" I shouted, while continuing to chase after someone I thought that he was the person we were currently looking for and needing.

"Si*doc. The run is fast too" I murmured, continuing to chase after him.

"Master Li! Master Li!" I shouted, but the person I was chasing did not ignore my screams, instead continued to run nonstop.

After almost 10 minutes of chasing each other in the forest, I accelerated even more when the person I was chasing was only a few meters away in front of me.

Just now I wanted to pull the sweater from behind, I suddenly slipped.

"ah! Auwf! Shit."

Fortunately I was able to get up again quickly and go back to teaching him.

"Master! You all right?!" I heard someone ask me from behind. When I looked around, it was Morgan who ran after me.

"Thank God you're here. Let's split up. You ran there and I ran there," I said.

"Good, Sir."
