Don't Know Thank You

The train stops at the station, Nola and Al both remain silent. Passengers changed, the descending ones replaced the ascending ones.

"Mmm .. excuse me, but may I sit here?"

The hoarse and hoarse voice of a man distracted the two of them. Just as the train was moving back on its way. Both of them turned their heads at once, Nola frowned like she had seen that figure, but she could not remember.

Al reacted quickly, standing hunched over and allowing the man to sit with them. Several pairs of eyes that witnessed the incident earlier, can not be separated from staring at two lovebirds who are now sitting with the old man.

It certainly makes Nola feel uncomfortable, but understood by Al. He knew among them there was willing to sit together to help Nola out of the devil's trap.

"Where are you two from and where are you going?" The question that the old man was asking made Nola feel uncomfortable.

Al glanced at his friend, Nola ducked uneasily. His eyeballs moved wildly, his trembling feet and hands also looked wet. Al understood what his friend was feeling.

"We are from Jakarta going to Rangkasbitung" replied Al sebadanya. He did not know which direction they were going, where Ujung Kulon itself was he did not know. Yang Al knew they were going down at Rangkasbitung station.

"Rangkasbitung?" The man made sure. Al replied with a nod of his head, once again glancing at the constantly agitated Nola. The girl's eyes glared gesturing for Al not to tell their destination.

"I happen to want to go down there too, Adek is just the two of you how?" asked the old man again glancing alternately at Nola and Al.

The responsible young man again looked at Nola, he could not ignore her question, but also did not feel good to Nola who forbade through the glare of the eyes.

"Just two, sir. Why why?" Al was slightly astonished as the old eye glanced at Nola who shifted away from him.

"There's nothing, I'm just pesen to be careful. Don't let the kayak happen again," he said attentively.

Nola growled, closing her eyes holding back the turbulent resentment in her heart. The old man's pleasantries really caught him off guard.

"Well, sir, accept-"

"We're grown, sir. We also do not know if we have to be careful. You don't want to care about us" said Nola without looking at her figure.

Al gasped to hear the sharp tone that his friend cast. His breathing stopped to look at Nola's ungrateful attitude.

Nola moved while pulling Al's hand to get out of the carriage immediately. Al who was confused, had to turn to the old man earlier while bowing his head to him. The old man nodded while continuing to smile. How he understands the condition of Nola who does not like to interact with strangers.

"That's so sorry, son. May Allah always protect you wherever you are" he murmured, staring at the door the two young men had just passed.

He glanced at his own hands, smiling with relief as the little prayer beads he held disappeared. Next, the old man was sitting leaning back while turning the prayer beads reciting dhikr.

While Nola continued to pull Al's hand to pass the carriage by the carriage away from where they had originally been. Al threw out his hand as he arrived at one of the uninhabited carriages.

Nola dropped the body on the chair, sitting cross-legged with both feet piled up. His face was bent in annoyance, a glimpse of anger in the girl of God's creation.

"You really don't know thank you, La. The father has already saved you, but you even kayak that. I swear, I don't know how he feels right now," Al said, shedding his frustration on Nola.

He restores his hair while folding his lips, drops his head on one of the poles in the car, regretting Nola's so selfless actions.

"What did he do? Suddenly come to sit near us, continue to nasihatin that is not clear like that. What is ungrateful!" murmur Nola while jerking the folds of her hands on her chest.

His face turned away from Al, not wanting to look at his friend. Al moved, turning to look at Nola sadly. A sense of disbelief appeared on his tired face line again haggard.

"Aren't you aware of what you were doing?" search Al once again.

This is beyond reason, Nola should realize what happened to him earlier. If it wasn't for the old man earlier, it was likely that he wouldn't be here at this moment.

Nola turned her head, a thin frown on her forehead a sign that she did not understand her friend's question.

"What did I do earlier? I was just sleeping, kept falling to the floor so much. That's it, isn't it?" said Nola pointed at the floor while demonstrating that the one she slept on continued to fall involuntarily.

"You're possessed, La!" pekik Al while pointing at Nola.

The two girls eyes widened, her body jolted in disbelief. Next, he laughed crisply. Feeling Al has been bragging and making things up. There's no way he'll be possessed, for the rest of his life he's never been close to anything mystical.

"No way! It's ridiculous! You ... You lied to me, right? No, your game won't be the same as mine." Nola shook her hand in disbelief.

He turned back from Al while pulling one corner of his lips. His head shook, not believing what Al said.

"You really don't realize, yeah. It turns out that a real person, a possessed person is just like a crazy person. They do not realize that they are crazy, you also do not realize that you just possessed. I didn't believe this at first, but now I believe that after seeing you convulsing on the floor, it's not conscious right now," al said while landing his buttocks in one of the passenger seats facing Nola.

The girl was stunned, Al's speech brought her back to memory this morning where Ijah was possessed twice and unconscious. Slowly he turned, sat with the young man in front of him who was also looking at him.

The next stop has been echoed in the loudspeakers. The train stopped and the passengers changed. There's nothing they're talking about until the train's back on.

"Can you tell me what I was possessed?" ask Nola.

Want to know what happened, is the same as Ijah did. Floating and attacking his Mom at home.

"I didn't know how it was at first, but suddenly you were convulsing when you were sitting in a chair. Your eyes that make the cereal, white all no items. I shuddered in fear, but no one could help. You see this! Huh!" Al showed both of his eyes that were covered in tears.

Nola flinched, only to realize after Al showed it.

"I-it ... Are you a crybaby?" tanyanya doubt.

Both hands drooped, pointing at Al's trembling eyes.

"Yes. I cry because I can't bear to see you like a chicken being cut to die. I can't help, everyone there can't help. I don't know what else to do, desperate. I'm afraid you're okay, I'm afraid to bring you home. I'm afraid of your Mamah Papah, La," Al said with a serious look on his face.

He's not kidding, that young man isn't lying. He really said it. Nola was dumbstruck, staring at Al's bead that exuded honesty. No lies at all were seen in those two brown neutrals.

He looked down, squeezing his own fingers. Some are angry, but not angry. The feeling in the heart rushes to the surface, causing discomfort.

"And you know who that old man was? That old man who interrupted you, La. He who has saved your life. I don't know what's going to happen to you, if you don't exist. I don't know, La," said Al ending his story.

He nailed a look at Nola who looked increasingly agitated. Guilt immediately came to the surface, hearing Al's story, his attitude was indeed outrageous. If he had known earlier, he wouldn't have acted as hard as he did.

"Al-"

"What's? Still don't believe it? Whatever!" fierce Al slashed Nola's words while turning away from her.

"You're outrageous, La. Not that thank you, even talking ketus kayak just now with him. You have to apologize to him" Al continued without turning his head to the girl.

"I know you're a rich kid, spoiled, loved, everything you want to obey, but that's not like your attitude to parents. The father was nobody, but he was a parent. People we should respect as much as our own parents." Al snorted in annoyance.

What Nola's life was like, she knew very well. At school, all his friends from the upper class who like to show off what they have. Luxury items were classy, never he came to school on foot. Riding the bike just did it that day with Al, that was because he was forced to.

Hearing Al's last sentence, Nola felt stupefied. He stood up and walked quickly to his friend. Taking a seat next to him, it didn't matter even though Al didn't want to see his face.

"I know, I've gone too far. I'd like to apologize to you too, Al. That's why we went back to the carriage again, I want to apologize to him, Al," said Nola holding the young man's hand while shaking it.

Al silently digested the words of the haughty girl again arrogant at the school. Nola's hands were still shaking her arms, whining for company. Sobs began to be heard from him, only today Al heard and saw the girl crying.

"Are you sure you want to apologize?" Al ensure.

"Yes, Al. Please, meenin, yes. I don't want to be late, I don't want to be like Alea. I'm ...." Nola was unable to continue her sentence, she was sobbing more and more remembering about her brother.

"Wait, La!"
