The Aether core
Four years passed after I incarnated in this little body of mine, now I am getting used to it and also I have started to become proficient in swinging swords after my father trained me in sword techniques.
And it's also been a year that I've been meditating it's like my Aether core is about to get up, tonight in my usual place of meditation, which is my room, I began to meditate trying to collect the uncollected fragments of Aether in my core.
I tried hard to control the Aether inside me and form a stable Aether core. The longer I do it, the more comfortable I am with the energy around me.
As I continued to practice and focus on my meditation, I felt the Aether energy within me getting stronger. I focused my mind on the pieces of Aether scattered across my body, and slowly they began to fuse into one stable core.
However, I did not realize how much energy I was gathering. The power that grows within me exceeds the capacity that I can control. And suddenly, in my peak meditation moment, an explosion occurred.
Instantly, the air around me was torn apart and a great shock shook the entire room. A bright light filled the room, emitting an overflowing Aether power. A thunderous boom echoed, making me pause for a moment.
My mother and father, who were shocked by the explosion, immediately ran towards my room. They went into a room full of dust, and saw an incredible sight. I stood in the middle of the room, surrounded by the brightly burning Aether energy.
“Honey I did not expect, our 4-year-old son he has raised Aether .” asked my mother with a face full of worry.
“I am also dear, it seems like we have to give Arthur a teacher to guide him to learn in mastering his Aether.”
My father nodded steadily. “Arthur, it looks like you should have a good teacher to help you get good Aether training. In a few months we will move to the kingdom of the Ethereum to find you a guru.”
After a few weeks after I awakened my Aether core, I began training to control the Aether I could use, and after practicing controlling the Aether I immediately practiced sword practice with my father. We are currently doing sparing.
I stood upright on top of the training arena, holding my wooden sword steadily. My father was on the opposite side with a proud smile on his face.
"Who, Arthur?" ask him with passion.
"I'm ready, dad!" answer me with the same spirit.
We faced each other, and my father waved his hand gesturing to begin. We started moving, spinning and swinging the sword skillfully. I felt the Aether energy within me flow more powerfully than ever before, giving me dexterity and precision in every movement.
My father was a formidable adventurer, and he had already taught me many sword techniques. Sparing this time is an opportunity for me to test my abilities and progress after awakening the Aether core.
We attacked each other quickly and swiftly. I relied on Aether to strengthen my movements, whereas my father used his experience as an adventurer to respond quickly and cleverly.
During the practice, I tried to feel every Aether flow in my body and aimed it at my sword. His energy gave me incredible precision and strength. On several occasions, Aether even helped me guess my father's movements before he did.
Time passed by so quickly as we continued to train. My father gave me many pointers and corrections to my techniques, and I enthusiastically accepted them.
"Good, Arthur! Keep focusing on your Aether flow and combine it with your sword moves," said my father, giving me a boost.
Slowly, I felt that the more I mastered Aether and my sword the better. My ability increased from one round to the next. I am so grateful to my father for giving me the opportunity to learn and grow.
After the practice was over, the two of us took a deep breath, smiling at each other.
"You're really amazing, Arthur. Tomorrow we will go to the city of the Ethereum, then prepare yourself." said my father proudly.
"Thank you, dad." My answer.
Just before leaving for the city of Ethereum, my father's party members came to take us to the city of Ethereum. They were the Phoenix Vanguard. The first member is Yara Stromdancer A Half-elf who is an old friend of my father Yara is a Mystic Mage who has an affinity with wind and water. He is an expert in elemental magic. Yara is always ready to help with her vast knowledge of the world of Aetheria and the secrets of nature that she possesses.
The second was that Dorn Ironhammer was a strong and passionate man, Dorn was a loyal friend of my father. As a Mystic Warrior, Dorn mastered fire and earth element magic well. He was my father's right-hand man in battle and became a reliable force in the face of heavy enemies.
The third is Lyra Wildheart A friendly and brave beastkin. Lyra is a Mystic Mage with an affinity for fire and water. He has the rare ability to control lightning and fog, making him a unique and powerful party member in battle.
The fourth is Dave Frostbourne a human being just like my father he is a person who often jokes and his flagship weapon is a spear. Dave is a Mystic Warrior with a fire affinity.
The last one is Cassandra Nightshade a human who is the youngest party member. Cassie is a Mytic Warrior who uses two swords as his weapon. And its affinity element is the wind.
Before we left, my mother and father gave me some very important information.
“Arthur from today you will become a brother, and you will later have to protect your sister. So you have to be a strong person” My father told me.
I who heard my father's words immediately fell silent, and was also very curious about what it was like to be a big brother, which in my past life, I never felt like a big brother. And also I'm happy because I have a family that worries me.
we left the house for the city of Ethereum. Our trip will take a few days, and during that trip, I felt happy because it turned out that the Phoenix Vangurd party was friendly people.
My father's party member, Phoenix Vanguard, walked with us. They were my father's loyal friends, and I felt safe and comfortable among them. Yara, Dorn, Lyra, and Cassie gave me support and encouragement as we walked towards the city of Ethereum.
During the journey, Yara and Lyra taught me some tricks about the use of wind and water magic. They saw potential in my element affinity and gave me some very helpful hints. I am honored and fortunate to be able to learn from magicians like them.
The next day, when night had come, we gathered where we rested. Dave, excitedly, invites me to spar. “What juice can I take against your genius son?” Ask Dave to my dad.
“Yes please, but don't be too rude, I just taught you some basic sword techniques.”
Are they crazy? Allowing a 4-year-old to fight against adventurer veterans. I also took a deep breath.
We both stood in the middle of the open field where we camped. My father and the other party members formed a circle around us, becoming spectators in our practice.
"Who, Arthur?" asked Dave while swinging his wooden spear confidently.
We're getting ready to start. I focused my mind on the flow of Aether within me, feeling its power rushing about. His energy gave me speed and precision in every movement.
Dave unleashed his first strike quickly, swinging his spear at me. I dodged agilely and faced his attack with my sword. Aether sparks shot out from my sword as it collided with each other, creating a dazzling beam of light.
Our sparing was intense and stressful. Dave has incredible physical abilities and formidable fighting techniques. However, I made use of the Aether's speed and precision to execute efficient movements and better predict its attacks.
We fought with a healthy spirit and sense of competition. As Dave swung his spear, I quickly diverted his attack by utilizing Aether's speed to dodge, then took the opportunity to counterattack.
Full concentration on my Aether helps give me the edge in attack and defense. I ran towards Dave with strong intimidation, pinning Aether around my sword. Dave who lost focus went straight to attack just like that, and I saw a gap to attack.
Without a doubt, I jumped forward with a nimble motion, trying to slash Dave's body. Dave who felt danger immediately responded by attacking me using his cane. I dodged immediately, but his attack still managed to hit my body, and I was thrown out of the circle my father had formed.
The mother who saw me get bounced because of Dave's attack immediately ran over to me. “Are you okay Arthur?”
I just laughed a little with minor injuries on some of my hands. “Hahaha, I'm fine mom, I was just less vigilant just now.”
Then my mother healed all the wounds I received while sparing just now.
Yara immediately approached Dave and grabbed his hair. “Tadi Lucas said don't be too rough with Arthur, but you hurt him.”
Dave tried to give an excuse. “Lucas earlier You said he had just mastered the basic sword technique, but why is he so good at channeling Aether in fighting?” Ask Dave to Lucas.
Lucas offered little explanation. “Perhaps because he has already practiced Aether while he has awakened his core.”

Cassie who was curious about my last move immediately asked me. “Tadi, why can you make a move like wanting to pounce and keep jumping up and trying to slash it?”
I explained what happened. “I only imitated my father's movements during the Exercises at home, probably because my small body I made use of Aether's gluing to help me dodge Dave's attacks and then help me jump higher.”
The next day, after a long night, we decided to leave for the city of Ethereum. Our journey went well in the beginning. We passed through beautiful forests and rivers that flowed quietly. However, our calmness was immediately disturbed as we approached a steep valley.
Suddenly, we were confronted by a group of bandits that emerged from behind the bushes. They numbered more than us, and with the swords and bows they held, they clearly intended to rob and hurt us.
Dave prepares his spear, and Yara is ready with her magic spell. Dorn tenaciously clasped his big mace, and Lyra clenched her teeth firmly. Cassie was next to me she was so careful that I and my mom were scared.
"Don't hurt women and children, because a defective item can reduce the selling price." shouted a bandit leader while swinging his sword with a threat.
I who hear the words of this bandit a little stirred up emotions, in any world there will always be a lowly person who thinks humans are goods.
“Arthur take care of your mother, let me take care of the bandits who will attack us.” Cassie asked me not to fight.
“But I can also fight.” I said while holding my wooden sword.
Suddenly an enemy Mystic Mage carried out an attack. “With the burning power of fire, form into an arrow, burn it. Flaming Arrows.”
The fiery arrows started attacking us but Yena did not stay still she directly performed defensive magic. “With the force of the strong wind spinning, form my barrier destroy everything that is approaching. Tornado shield.”
Yena made a barrier from the wind to resist the fire arrows, Dorn who had the opportunity to attack the opponent directly raised the ground around him and made a wall of earth. My father and Dave immediately attacked the bandits who were around the bandit chief.
Namu tones some bandits that my dad can't fight because they're after me and my mom. But Cassie quickly slashed at some of the bandits who were about to attack me with her two swords.
As we began to dominate the situation it turned out that the Mystic Mage enemy was not just one but three. One of the enemy Mystic Mage carried out an attack. “In the water explosion that struck, I emitted the energy of this attack hit the enemy with the power of a deadly water explosion. Aqua nova.”
A water explosion pointed towards me, Lyra who saw the attack immediately tried to protect me “With the water in front of me submit, obey my orders. Control Area.” Lyra casts a high level of water magic that allows her to control all the water around her.
The fight was inevitable. Yara quickly cast a spell, sending wind and water attacks towards the bandits. Some of the bandits were successfully blown away by the strong wind, while others were hit by splashes of water that pierced like needles.
Meanwhile, Dorn advanced tenaciously, hitting the ground with his huge mace. A loud shock spread around the battle area, sending several bandits flying into the air and making them lose their balance.
Lyra ran towards the bandits nimbly, moving both of her hands and releasing waves of fire and water that shook. The bandits who were hit by the attack screamed in pain, feeling overwhelmed by the combined strength of the Lyra element.
While everyone was busy fighting the bandit chief, suddenly a fireball attack led to my mother. I saw my mother in danger trying to think about saving her. I could protect myself by covering myself with Aether but my pregnant mother she couldn't do it. I stuck Aether into my feet and ran to my mother and pushed it from the fireball.
“Mothers watch out.”
I who was hit by the attack bounced towards a very deep abyss. Ah just now I feel grateful for being born again, but I must die again.
“Arthur!” My mother shouted at me who had fallen into the abyss.
All the members of the Phoenix Vanguard party defeated all of the bandits. My father was so sorry for not being able to protect my mother and myself, and my panicked mother fainted from seeing me fall.
As I began to lose consciousness suddenly a light appeared illuminating my body and obliterating me right then and there.
