Hassan's phone vibrated continuously on the dining table.

"Have a moment, pa. It seems important" Linda said. Hassan came out of the house with his phone.

"Papa's gonna be out of town again" Guess Rael.

Airports at night are different from daytime. The people who come are not as many as in the morning. The shops that open are just a few.

Rael set his foot toward the airport entrance. He arrived half an hour earlier than he was scheduled to serve. His team this time numbered 34 people and 1 captain. 10 of them had already arrived outside the city to ensure the situation was safe.

Rael's mission tonight is to escort a Governor of East Kalimantan to pick up his wife who is being treated at Mitra Keluarga Hospital in Depok.

He was one of the leaders of the country who opposed the expulsion of foreign nations, especially his descendants who are mixed blood on the grounds that they are also part of the NKRI.

After 20 minutes of waiting, Rael finally met one of his team members who had just arrived. They and 2 others were tasked with securing the situation at the airport while waiting for the other members to pick up the Governor at his residence.

Rael breathed a sigh of relief. He was tired of being constantly stared at by people because he was wearing his army uniform. He was nervous because it was his first time.

"Hello. So you're Rael?" Rael saluted him.

"Just relax, Rael"

"I'm Dafa. How long have you been here?" Dafa took out a cigarette and lit it.

"Oh. Just relax first. They came in about half an hour. 2 of my friends had gone around checking the situation inside"

Rael sat himself in an empty trolley nearby as he watched Dafa smoking leisurely in the waiting chair. He turned his phone on in his pocket. This is the first time his parents gave him a mobile phone to make it easier for Rael to access technology in the outside world.

"Rael. Get ready" Dafa patted Rael on the shoulder and shocked her.

Rael immediately put his cell phone back in and prepared his rifle. Same with Dafa. Shortly thereafter, 4 black cars entered the airport.

At the same time 2 Dafa friends came to the airport entrance. The four of them prepared in front of the entrance to welcome the Governor's arrival.

After making sure the Governor had entered the airport safely, the car left. Only 5 of them entered the airport.

Rael and Dafa follow the Governor's entourage into the airport. Their flight to Soekarno-Hatta Airport using a private plane owned by the Governor.

The captain of this army is named Fendy. On the plane he gives Rael a personal direction about his first mission. It turns out that in the group there are 2 other women besides Rael. Fendy gave him an intercom-shaped headset to communicate with.

Rael kept on alert during the trip. Through his connections he checked the technology systems around them just in case there are tappers or something like that.

During the 1 hour flight Rael did not feel any intimidation from the other members. Therefore, he could slightly reduce his nervous feelings.

The plane arrived at Soekarno-Hatta airport at 23:00 West Indonesia Time. Team 2 was already waiting for their entourage at the airport. After arriving there they went straight to Mitra Keluarga Hospital in Depok.

The team members who were here were already waiting for them at the exit. Rael was shocked as he crossed the city streets. Several houses were destroyed and abandoned which are the remains of a massacre 5 years ago.

The once bustling Jabodetabek area now looks bleak and gripping at night. Many young children and even adults also wander while carrying a bottle of liquor.

But it wasn't as bad as at the airport. The locals closed the entrance to their area. They were watching everyone who came including Rael and the others. Fortunately, no one fought openly.

Only a shabby-looking man with his stomach advancing threw a stone at the Governor. Fortunately, the stone was removed by Rael and did not hit anyone.

The journey to the Hospital takes 2 hours without a hitch. The slow road also accelerated their movement.

"Regu 1 stays here" Fendy ordered.

Rael and 7 others stayed in the hospital parking lot while monitoring the situation. The rest went into the hospital building.

Rael*******-*****his finger felt the night wind through his skin. He glanced at the other members, they seemed to have gotten used to it. Rael lowered the temperature on the surface of her skin to match the cold night temperature.

From far away Rael saw a small child who was limped walking carrying something on his back. He could not see his face because it was covered in a cloth wrapped in his face.

Rael looked around and there was no one. The other members were far away from him. Rael looked at the boy. His body was limp and several times almost fell but he held it back. Compared to that, he was very attentive to the sling behind him. Rael scanned the contents of the sling, seeing a toddler with a pale face there.

Rael surprised. One side he could not see. But he also could not escape from his responsibilities. Rael looked at Dafa who was the squad leader from a distance. Dafa seemed to understand Rael's intentions, he nodded.

Rael smile. He kept his rifle and ran towards the boy. Luckily Rael moved quickly, he managed to catch the boy right after he fell unconscious.
