ashaf walks leisurely to the mosque outside the school, he is a Muslim and there is no prayer at school.

the Mushola he came to was not too far from his school, only walking 5 minutes he had arrived.

He will perform Dzuhur prayer,ashaf take ablution solemnly there is not only him but there are many fathers who will perform the prayers left behind as well.

when going into the simple mosque he saw a shadow beside him more precisely near the big tree that became the barrier between the school and the mosque.

"it's free if you want to scare me" said Ashaf in a soft voice but the figure was able to hear it.

ashaf breezed into the mushola to pray."Bastard!" a creature far from the Mushola.

the creature disappeared with the wind.

She walks down the sidewalk to return home, but she sees her father picking up her twin sister, Marisa.

Meri smiled bitterly as she recalled the interaction of Setya and her twin Kaka."god.meri was used to it but why did it still feel the same" she looked up at the darkened sky as soon as night was coming.

why did Meri just come home when the day started to darken?he just lazy to go home but if not go home the same.

Tests

"the eum..Rain?" he muttered, he put his hand to hold the raindrops, initially a small drizzle but over time the rain was getting heavier, making Meri forced to find a place to shade.

Meri rounded her eyes when she found out who the guy she had been watching earlier was because she turned to him, she slightly hid her face so as not to be recognized and fortunately the guy did not know his whereabouts.

"ashaf?she lives here?" muttered.

he saw many people chanting a holy verse that he knew was the Qur'an.

"that hunk is a teacher here, huh?"ask again, to yourself.

Meri felt herself curious about the guy, she decided to wait for the guy to finish and she would follow him.

half an hour he waited outside with cold, quiet and dark in contrast to the situation inside the mosque which looked cool and bright by the light.

Meri felt her hair bristling, felt something blow her neck."astaga, goddamn ghost!"his meaning was slow, although he did not turn his head he could feel a lot of subtle creatures bothering him.

to hell with these terrible creatures, all he wanted was information from an ashaf Pramadita, the one Rea told him to stay away from the guy.

Meri rushed to follow the ashaf when she saw the man leaving the mosque, Meri followed the ashaf in a distance that was quite far away so as not to be caught.

Meri scrunched her forehead as she looked at the street they were passing through,"forest?why did he go into the woods?"ask him to yourself.

after 15 minutes of walking through this dense forest, the situation was very dark and fortunately Meri brought her mobile phone.

every now and then he swears on the road when a demon intercepts him."he lives in an old hut?but his appearance does not show that he is poor" Meri muttered when she saw the ashaf entering an old hut made of woven bamboo.

Meri slowly brought her ears closer to eavesdrop on the conversation with someone, faintly sounding but Meri could tell what they were talking about.

Ashaf POVs

Ashaf entered the old hut where his teacher lived."Assalamualaikum kyai" his greeting when he was inside, he could see the kyai was reciting on the bed.

this hut is very minimalist, there is only 1 mattress and pillow, 1 table and chair for eating or other, no accessories but only goods such as prayer beads, Qur'an, and others,the writings of Allah and Muhammad are on the wall.

small, but comfortable, said Kyai Fathur Rashid Amrullah.

see ashaf kyai immediately finish his dhikr and smile kindly at ashaf."nak?what's coming here?" tanyakanya.

"no kyai, just visiting" said ashaf.

kyai nodded her head for a while and then she looked back, nothing just that she knew that there was someone behind that wall."how was your new school?"ask kyai.

"as usual kyai, but.." ashaf paused for a moment and then continued.

"but I know a girl who seems to be under the influence of the genie, kyai" explained ashaf made the kyai nod his head.

kyai tells Ashaf to approach her and whispers something."the girl?" kyai whispered.

kyai Fathur's words suddenly make ashaf gaping in disbelief, he did know when Meri followed him but he did not believe if the girl dared to follow him into the forest.

"what do I need..

"no need to ashaf, just let him" said Kyai interrupting ashaf's speech and the master simply nodded obediently.

"continue your story" said Kyai back to his original position, he purposely had the girl hear their conversation.

ashaf cleared his throat briefly to reduce his nervousness."so gini kyai, today I went to a new school. I've felt a lot of uncomfortable things"

"but something in the girl whose aura is very strong kyai, she is almost completely possessed by demons" continued ashaf again while occasionally looking for Merisa's existence.

POV Author

Meri frowned then slightly moved away from the hut."jin? kyai?" mumbling slowly.

"who's kyai?" stupid tanya.

"what does it mean that I am possessed by the jinn?" Meri was about to eavesdrop again but stopped when she saw the ashaf and an old man who was maybe 50 and older came out of the hut.

Meri hides behind trees to hide her presence from their eyes.

Meri sharpened her ears to hear what they were talking about."that is the heart of shaf's heart, salam to your mother" said Kyai Fathur.

"inggh kyai,Pamit ya Assalamualaikum" the ashaf left and the kyai went back into his hut.

Meri who saw the ashaf immediately followed him did not want to lose track.

apparently they returned to the big mosque earlier, Meri chose to stop at a small shop that closed to wait for the ashaf to come out, but it turned out that the ashaf using his matic motor made Meri unable to catch up.

in the end Meri decided to go home and continue the soul of his future tomorrow or the day after.
