CHAPTER 16

Kei walked back towards the balcony staring down into the pool area, seeing Samantha and Hazel were no longer there and only Sean was bare-chested preparing to slide into the pool water. Kei couldn't take his eyes off Sean's beautiful body.

His phone rang, Kei picked it up, "Dai, sorry I forgot to tell you. Tonight I'll stay at the Harem."

"Alright, stay careful," worried Daisuke.

"Well, what were you talking about this afternoon, exactly?" asked Kei impatiently waiting until he came home.

"Look, you know Ryo's a hacker. While cleaning up the trail of the dead woman last night, we found something about you." Answer Daisuke.

"But me?"

"Yes, a news portal a dozen years ago about a man named David who was interviewed in a media looking for his daughter named Evelyn, but you're not a man so we don't think it's you, do we?"

"Wait on! I'm going home now!"

With a thumping heart Kei ran out of the room, he did not want to wait until tomorrow. For him his sense of self is very important, especially his Uncle never said who his real father is.

On the lower floor Kei met Angela who was joking with the others. Kei approached them.

"Tente, I'm leaving. I just got word, my friend came to the house and he came from far away, so I have to go home" Kei said.

"Ah, okay. Wait a minute, auntie get a driver to drive you." Tawar Angela walked in search of one of the drivers.

"Tell Uncle, I can't say goodbye. Auntie." Kei was sitting in the car.

"Yes, of course. Be careful on the road, son."

"Sir, take care to bring the car," Angela pointed it at the driver.

"Yes, Madam."

The car that Kei was riding on also slid away.

While Lazarus was discussing with Albert and Timothy the disappearance of David a year ago, they still could not find his whereabouts.

"The trail of Mr. David is like being lost to the earth. I'm so confused where to look for it again, Great Lord." Timothy.

Lazarus had his forehead gnawed, he had thought of many possibilities during this year. Where did David disappear and why?

"In Japan our scope is very limited, it's not our territory. Tell you what, look for people who are good at Japanese and can also maintain their senses."

"Good, Sir."

"Lazarus !!! Albert! Amanda looks like she's about to give birth, hurry up !" Ella breaks into Lazarus's study.

Lazarus stood up and Albert ran first.

"Honey," Albert clasped Amanda's hand in pain.

"Uh... Uhhh... Sick baby," Amanda pressed her fingernails against Albert's arm.

Albert felt no pain in his arm from Amanda's fingernails, but his tears kept coming out of grief at the sight of his wife gasping for breath in pain.

"Jeez Albert! You pick up your wife and we take her to the hospital, you cry!" Lazarus felt like he wanted to shake the head of his brother-in-law.

"Yes, yeah!" Albert muttered and began to try to hold Amanda's body with a big belly.

"Are you able to carry it?" ask Samuel. "Here I help," Samuel helped lift Amanda's body.

"The car is ready! Hurry along!" angela shouted from outside the house.

All of the adults leave, except Callista and Louis with Hazel and Sean at home.

Once in the hospital Amanda was quickly taken into the delivery room, only one person was allowed to enter so Albert entered to accompany his wife. No matter how long the sound of baby crying echoed from inside the delivery room, everyone expressed their gratitude.

"Congratulations, a baby girl!" said the nurse who came out with some medical equipment.

"Praise God, thank you" said everyone in unison.

Before long the sound of a baby's cry turned into the cry of an adult man, Lazarus laughed when he recognized the sound of crying that was none other than Albert's cry.
