Chapter 99 Preparation to Go Home
After the Chemistry class, Ivona sent a chat to Marcus. She thanked him for all the care Marcus had given her. Without the man's help, it would be impossible for Doctor Tantowi to willingly take his time to perform surgery on his grandfather.
"Just relax Iv.., we've become cooperation partners, there's no harm if we help each other. It's just a commitment from you in return for your thanks" Marcus said in a chat.
"Yes, too, but I haven't been relieved if I haven't thanked you. Thank you also for the care you provide for Doctor Tantowi, from the ticket, to the accommodation all you facilitate." "I'm lazy, Ben.., just going to bed. Sleepy last night doing PR chemistry." Ivona refuses Beni's invitation, she wants to change the time last night she used to do PR.
"Okay.., I stay first huh. I'm hungry for that." Beni asked permission to go to the canteen.
Ivona immediately put her head on the table, she took advantage of the break when her friends left class.

As soon as the lesson mark bell ran out, Ivona headed straight for the exit. Earlier this morning he had an appointment with Alexander, if he was going to visit his grandfather at Iswara's family home. "Ivona.." a voice called out her name, as she had just walked out of her classroom door.
Ivona looked up at the sound, and she saw her brother Thomas already standing in the courtyard of her school. Thomas walked up to him..
"Have come out, brother is picking you up now" Thomas said smiling kindly at Ivona.
"Ivona also wants to go home, but has already promised Alex. He'll pick me up and deliver home. He's got a need with grandpa." Ivona refused a subtle invitation from Thomas, arguing that he had already made a pact with Alexander.
"Are you not afraid or worried about Ivona..? You chose the path with Alexander rather than with me your own brother." said Thomas with a dislike view.
Ivona smiled cynically.
"I not only walk with Brother Alex, but also live with him in one villa. Right now I just think, the person who sincerely helped me, he is independent so that at any time he will be able to defend me. But there's where my real family is, where when I need help, they just keep quiet and they can't talk." hearing Ivona's words, Thomas felt insinuated. He sometimes still succumbed to his parents, when they bullied his sister.
"That's not the real meaning of my actions. I sometimes just think of giving up on our parents a little bit. Well, you can go home with Alexander, but I'll keep you company until he gets to this school" Thomas said.
"Sister Thomas.," Roy walked up to Thomas, then reached out with a handshake. Thomas glanced at the young man, then received a handshake from him.
"Who will you pick up, Vaya? Just keep on meeting Ivona?" roy asked while sneering at Ivona.
"Dong Roy, brother Thomas is dear to Vaya. Is that right, brother?" Vaya drew closer to Thomas, as the girl reached out to hold his hand, Thomas turned his back.
"Sister is here to pick Ivona up, to take my sister home to Iswara's family" Thomas said. Hearing Thomas' words, Vaya's face immediately pias pale. Roy, who does not know how their relationship really is, only thinks if there has been a small quarrel between Thomas and Vaya.
Thomas immediately took Ivona's hand, then invited her out leaving Vaya and Roy there. Roy is only confused by the rigid interaction between Vaya and Thomas.
"You just had a storm with Thomas's brother, huh Vay..?" ask Roy later.
"Yes Roy.., but not pa pa pa. Let Ivona also feel a bit of closeness to Thomas, now Vaya has to give up first." Vaya does not want to admit how her relationship with her brother is at the moment. He still covered it up, because there was a fear that his friends would leave him alone.

Arriving at the school gate, Ivona sees Alexander's car stopping behind the gate. Not long after, the big tall man immediately got out of the car and immediately approached Ivona who was walking along with Thomas.
"There was a Young Master from the Iswara family apparently. Want to pick up Vaya..?" Alexander greeted Thomas with sarcasm.
"No, Mr. Alexander. Today I intend to pick Ivona up. But, apparently my younger brother has already had an appointment with the CEO of Kavindra Group." said Thomas with a smile.
"We have no promise Thomas. Naturally, as someone who has been allowed and entrusted by a Young Miss from the Iswara family, I must have responsibility for all her affairs. Including the school shuttle." Alexander responds to Thomas with a satire.
"Sorry Brother Thomas. Ivona is with Alex yes. Brother got in his own car." seeing the little debate between Thomas and Alexander, Ivona interrupted them. He did not want the people there to see them being involved in an argument.
"Yes Iv. Be careful! We'll see you at home." Thomas responded to Ivona.
Alexander immediately took Ivona, then opened the car door and held the girl's hand until sitting on the seat beside the steering wheel. After the girl sat down, she then sat behind the wheel.
"Ivona should have come home with me, not with the man" Thomas thought.
