CHAPTER 12

1 hour later.....

"Sister David dinner is ready, come Papa's dining room and Mama is waiting for Brother David" called Alya from behind the door, he felt hesitant to enter.

With a lazy step due to annoyance, David also got off his bed and stepped towards the door. But his steps came to a halt and turned towards his phone on the nightstand that rang.

"Yes, hello, baby, what's wrong? Ask someone on the other end of the phone, who else if not her lover, Lestari.

"How are you doing, baby?" Ask Lestari back. "Are you better now? Can we meet tonight" he said in a spoiled tone.

"Sorry baby, it looks like we can't meet tonight. I'm so tired and I'm not feeling well right now" she lied. "It seems like tomorrow I can't go to the office, please take care of everything, baby'' said David, he stroked his chest, only this time he lied to his lover.

"Are you sick, baby?"

"No, it's just that lately I've been feeling tired, oh yeah I hung up the phone first yeah, Mama called me for dinner"

Tut Tut, David hung up. And Lestari was there who hadn't finished talking and threw her phone in bed because David turned off his phone.

"Damn! I'm not done talking he's turned off the phone, just be careful if you dare to lie to me David"

David came out of his room and his wife was no longer behind the door. David went to the dining room, and there was Mama, Papa and his wife.

David deliberately sat opposite Alya, so that he could freely pay attention to his wife. While Alya herself, she did not care about that, she thought it was good if her husband started to notice her. If her husband is interested in her, then he himself will be easier to repay her heartache.

As usual in front of Tyson and Herlina, Alya stood up from her seat and stepped where her husband was sitting. Alya scooped the rice and side dishes into her husband's plate, and David pulled the corners of her lips to smile.

The dinner was immediately silent, only the clanking of spoons and forks clashing in the dishes were heard in the room. After finishing the meal, Tyson and Herlina went to the living room to relax first before resting in their room. While Alya who also just finished eating, piled up her old plate with the plates of Herlina and Tyson then took her to the kitchen without waiting for her husband to finish his meal first.

David stared at Alya's steps until he was lost in the room divider. "Basic ugly, suck! Wife does not know herself" he said when Alya had passed.

David left the dining room without finishing his meal, then went after his parents in the living room. David sat down next to his father.

"Em Pa, how about tomorrow night we have dinner outside"

"What's wrong? Tumben's taking dinner outside" Tyson knitted his eyebrows together.

"There's nothing Pa, I just want to, haven't we been out together for a long time" David said, hoping Tyson would agree to his proposal for dinner outside.

"Em well, tomorrow we'll have dinner outside" Tyson said, and David smiled.

Alya who heard that directly contacted Kevin, and asked him to come tomorrow night. And Kevin also agreed because he was actually going to meet Alya to invite him to join his company by becoming a brand ambassador of weight loss herbal products. And according to Kevin Alya's invitation to come to tomorrow night is the right time to talk about it to Alya.

After the conversation in the living room, David decided to go to his room. Tyson and Herlina went to their room.

In the room, when David entered he found his wife lying on the sofa that became his wife's bed, while playing his cellphone without regard to himself.

"Tomorrow we'll go out to dinner outside" said David, sitting on the edge of his bed staring at his wife.

"Yes, I heard that" Alya replied, but her gaze kept on her phone.

"If you know, then why are you still sitting there instead of preparing the clothes that you will wear tomorrow night. And anyway you have to look beautiful so as not to embarrass Richardo out later"

Hearing that Alya put down her phone then confirmed her sitting position and stared fixedly at her husband. "That's so bad I was spied on Brother David, until that's all I had to warn"

"If that's the case, it's better not to take me" Alya moved from her seat and picked up her phone and wanted to get out of the room"

"You should come anyway!" Shouted David, he also drowned his body in the blanket did not want to hear the rejection of his wife.

"Selfish basis" said Alya as he passed from the room.

The next day...

David saw a branded clock coiled around his wrist, already at 4 p.m. He tidied up all the piles of documents on his desk and got ready to go home.

As he was about to reach the door, suddenly the door of the room was opened from outside. Guess who opened it? Well it was Lestari, David's secretary and lover. As David looked up to see who was coming in, David knew what Lestari's purpose was to come to his room, he wanted to take her home and then he would end up in David's apartment bed.

"Darling, are you going home yet?" Without David asking, Lestari had approached him and kissed his cheek.

"Yes. But I'm sorry baby, today I can't go home with you, I have to go home because Mama and Papa are taking me out to dinner"

"It must be with your wife too, right?" Lestari, who had been spoiled in David's arm, now shifted her position while pursing her lips.

"Well what else, this is the request of Papa and Mama. But I promise, after that I'll see you" David stroked her lover's hair.

Now the Richardo family is in a fancy restaurant in the city. David who sat opposite his wife occasionally stole a glance, he admitted in his heart that his wife's appearance tonight is very extraordinary, it turns out that his wife is beautiful also if polished makeup, it's a beautiful wife, even his scar was invisible.

Without answering, Alya opened the map and immediately put his signature there. Kevin also gasped with Alya's actions.

"Eh Alya, you haven't asked your husband for permission"

"Sister David would have allowed it, wouldn't he, brother David?" Alya looked at her husband with a smile.

"It's up to Alya" said David, but in his heart he was so upset.

"Good Kevin, it was not in vain that I invited you here. You brought me a great opportunity" Alya said in her heart.
