Chapter 16 The Devil and the Atticus academy

The atmosphere between the two was slightly warm, for what reason but that was how the two felt. After feeling clean enough Arya volunteered to deliver the girl who helped her because the sun was soon drowning, rejected by the girl because she felt objected to not wanting to owe Arya a favor.

The next day Arya and Ling are called in by the chairman of Schonheit to his room to carry out their first mission as members. But before the two entered the room both listened to the sound of screaming from inside the room until they hesitated to open the big door in front, both of them to take turns praising each other only to allow each other to open the door.

Until a brown man opened the big door without making small talk with Ling or with Arya. When the big door opened, two men held the job accountable, and the other asked to give time to rest because they were tired of the piles of paper that had lined up neatly on each table respectively.

"The two of you are old still acting like children,"

"Are you not ashamed in front of the incoming students?" said the brown man as he walked into the room and sat in a chair whose desk was full of piles of paper, after the speech from the man made the two turn their heads towards the door and it was seen Arya and Ling who were still in front of the door opened staring at the incident that happened, which happened, only a stiff smile was shown by Arys and Ling when the two of them were noticed by the two seniors.

"I'm sorry we made you show us our shameful side,"

"Not to be shy,"

"Get in the room and forgive us for not being able to serve tea because of the pile of paper on it," edward said with a friendly look and smile was different from when he had a fight with the glasses guy next to him, such a rapid change in expression certainly made Ling and Arya feel goosebumps looking at the friendly expression that appeared suddenly.

"We're okay,"

"So what's our first assignment?" arya asked with a stiff laugh towards the chairman who was cleaning up some documents that were around his desk in order to have space.

"Ah, that was earlier introduce the two people who are on my left and right,"

"This bespectacled Schonheit secretary is Austin Carl and sitting with his feet on top of the document is Rokhahul Qirin he is the representative of Schonheit and the leader of the academy's disciplinary division,"

"If you're wondering why someone like him is disrespectful but the head of the disciplinary division, you ask yourself," edward said with a tired look towards the man who was so relaxed with the last name mentioned by him

The three look very close like the friendship of Arya, Ling and Liam but what is left between the three of them is now only friendship fragility. The system immediately takes out a thin screen to provide information about the two people in front of him, whether it can be trusted or not both people in front of him.

A brief conversation took place between the five of them in a large room about a case that had occurred at the academy's traditional tea party, and some of the suspects who were believed by the chairman, the deputy and secretary are the perpetrators, but because Arya has learned important information about the person who did, he said, he also said who the person he saw without mentioning Liam's name might be involved in the case.

"I didn't expect the devil to intervene in this matter,"

"While the devil has no such thing as a cathedral or a temple that would represent them in the middle world" Rokhahul continued with a cold gaze and a long sigh

Listening to the talk of Austin and Rokhahul who seemed to understand the devil made Arya come looking for him through a thin screen that could not be seen by the surrounding people, the history of demons and gods is indeed very long to see and how strong they are to be able to make one world first full of tension and fear.

Reading everything written on the system and seeing Austin and Rokhahul very seriously makes Arya sure this is a threat that will not be easy to solve. Arya becomes more and more thinking about what relationship Liam has with a demon and who is the master who both mean.

"Rokhahul, I want you to intervene immediately in this matter because only you have ever known what the aura of black magic looks like," said Edward suddenly while slapping a table that had no fault with a cold gaze, which was then answered with a nod by Rokhahul

Arya believes that maybe this is all the demon system in question because it is clearly seen gods and demons have a bad relationship and maybe these two nations have advanced technological capabilities to what is today he enjoys using the system.

"Arya and Ling I want you two to keep this matter a secret because we must not let all the students in the academy be on guard and kill each other due to the matter of the demon lord being close by at the academy," Edward was answered with a firm nod by Arya and Ling

Little by little more and more evidence proves the demon lord is behind the murder case, I don't know what the purpose of the demon was but it was able to make them realize that the devil was a really big threat. Until the afternoon came the two returned to the dormitory, Arya was curious why Ling did not talk much about the demon lord in the room earlier. Though usually he is interested in learning about something that does not exist in his eastern country, because Arya is curious about the opinion of Ling he decided to stop his steps and start talking.

"Ling, what do you think of the devil? I see you didn't seem to talk much at the time?"

"Is that not interesting or has there ever been a story about the devil in your country?"

"No, it's just that I think it's better to listen than to interrupt,"
