Chapter 28: The Promise of Qin Chen

The previous incident made many people turn a blind eye because the slaughter by one person who was mysterious made all the robbers die very horribly.

After some time passed, he slowly opened his eyes seeing Qin Chen in front of him.

"Hm ... You finally woke up, is it better now?" Qin Chen asked, he was worried that his wife was still shocked by what had happened before.

Chu Yuechan immediately hugged him in the city park, he did not care about the people there because now he was frightened considering the previous thing.

Qin Chen rubbed his head gently, letting her hug him longer and longer until he regained his usual calmness that was smiling without any fear at all.

"Don't think of the wife, they've already got their payback for what they did to you. So, you don't have to worry anymore because I'm here by your side all the time."

"A-I ... Why did you make me faint before, don't you want to see what you did to them?" She was curious and afraid that her husband would do the thing that got her punished.

"So then, are you worried about my previous actions? Don't worry, it's all done without any problems, trust me. I'm your husband, I won't let you get hurt."

"Are you lying to me?"

"Of course not the wife, I never lied to you." The reply.

"Then who are you? I don't know why, but I keep wondering to myself who you really are, husband. The question keeps coming up after you wake up from your long dream."

Qin Chen hugged him tightly, touching his head with his chin. "If I say that I am the young master of a rich family, do you believe me?" Asked by Qin Chen.

This question might make him confused between believing in his words, or believing in his curiosity that Qin Chen really is not an ordinary person.

"I'll tell you wife, someday who I really am. For now, you smile as usual to encourage me and for the future of both of us."

"Aren't you lying, you're gonna tell me who you really are?"

"True, want it tomorrow or the extent, I'll tell you. Now, smile for me and for yourself because your smile means so much to me now and before."

There were a few words that came to his mind, for me now or before.

He sat back on his lap, looking at her with a sweet smile. Qin Chen smiled back at him, because his smile was so happy.

"You're getting prettier when you smile wife. So, smile from now on there's no fear after this, I'll be with you wherever you're ahead of me."

"Suami, let's go home."

"Good."

He carried her like a sleeping princess, leaving the place to return to their company.

After being in the company, because they do not have a house to be left alone. All of this was because Qin Chen had not bought it yet, for fear of being found out to have a lot of money and waiting for a month.

Chu Yuechan was sitting on the sopa enveloping herself with a white blanket waiting for Qin Chen who was making her a special meal tonight.

While out there, the rain flushed the city dividing the plants and land.

The sound of rain stubs rang out which made him experience the nostalgia he had previously felt.

Qin Chen who finished his task, he returned to his wife's place to bring food that he made himself.

"Wife, tonight's meal is done, it's special for you and it's special because you're so beautiful today." Qin Chen said as he placed it on the table letting his wife eat it.

When he saw it, he immediately ate it because Qin Chen had already given him permission to eat. Sangking enjoyed it, he made a smile that just opened his eyes that had been closed.

Chu Yuechan enjoyed it in front of Qin Chen who only smiled and laughed to see him eating like this.

Spending a plate of food voraciously made Qin Chen clean his lips with a tissue as there were food scraps on his face.

"How's wife? Do you like the food tonight, I can make you every day."

"Hmm~ is great, but I'll make you some food. You can't, 'cause I still owe you for making food every night."

"So, fine as long as you're happy I'll obey you."

Chu Yuechan nodded, she covered her body with the cloth back and only her face was visible from the cold tonight.

Qin Chen again stood up to prepare his bathroom for Chu Yuechan to use.
