Humaira's Healing

After a month Humaira was in a critical and unconscious state Alhamdulillah today she was able to open her eyes better than ever. But when he woke up, he was confused where he was because he felt very foreign to the place.

Luckily, he was not on a ventilator because although he was unconscious, his oxygen saturation was stable and his condition was stable, so he only wore an oxygen mask. He wanted to scream or say a little loudly so that someone would hear him. But, baby, no sound was heard. He is also getting desperate.

It was seen a nurse walking towards her bed to monitor her condition when she saw Humaira open her eyes and try to speak with great difficulty.

"good night Humaira, welcome back"

Humaira said something but her voice could not be heard. Soon the nurse approached her ear near Humaira's lips and slightly raised Humaira's oxygen mask to hear what Humaira was trying to say.

"ummi," said Humaira lirih but understood by the sisters

"if a while, Humaira let me call the doctor first to check your condition. If possible, ummi will be called to this room" said the nurse

Humaira answered the nurse's words with a blink of an eye. Humaira closed her eyes again because if she woke up too long her head would get sick again.

Before long the sisters who had been talking to Humaira passed by and headed to where the sisters took turns to keep watch. He immediately called Mira's doctor and told her about Humaira's condition.

"assalamualaikum doctor, this is Intan sister from the ICU room"

"wa'alaikumsalam, yes nuns have any news from the ICU room?"

"Thank God Humaira's patient had regained consciousness, and was about to say something so I approached her. Then he said "ummi" what should I do"

"calm down, I happen to be with the Humaira family. After this I will be heading to the ICU. Please keep a close eye on his condition."

"well doctor"

Doctor Mira immediately hung up the phone and said to Gilang and Miss Laura who were on guard that night at the hospital.

"what news is the doctor" asked Gilang

"alhamdulilah Humaira had just regained consciousness, but he called ummi Hasanah "

"Alhamdulillah if so, but ummi is currently in an orphanage. Let Mr. Parjo pick ummi up to the orphanage but you should not convey Humaira's condition first."

"alright if so, I'll go to the ICU room first to check on Humaira's condition."

"yes doctor"

Doctor Mira immediately walked to the ICU room to monitor Humaira's condition. He saw that Humaira had closed her eyes again probably because she was still feeling weak from long periods of unconsciousness. Immediately the doctor examined Humaira's vital organs, thank goodness all showed better charts than before. However he had no intention of interrupting Humaira's rest. He will wait for Ummi Hasanah who is being picked up by the driver of Mr. Gilang.

After arriving at the orphanage shows at 20:30 WIB. He immediately knocked on the door.

"tock..tok...tok..."

"tock..tok...tok..."

"assalamualaikum"

After waiting for a while there was finally a sound of greeting answers

"wa'alaikumsalam, looking for who sir?" ask Mr. Zaenab one of the guards at the orphanage

"ummi Hasanah is there? I am Parjo the driver of Pak Gilang. Mr. Gilang asked me to pick up Ummi Hasanah."

"alright if so, please enter first and please sit sir. I will call ummi Hasanah.

While Mr. Parjo was allowed to sit down, Mr. Zaenab immediately headed to Ummi Hasanah's room.he heard the voice of Umm Hasanah was teaching.

"tock..tok...tok..."

after saying the greeting is heard if Ummi Hasanah stops teaching him.

"wa'alaikumsalam, what's wrong with Zaenab?

"there was a driver from Mr. Gilang in the ummi living room. He said Mr. Gilang asked him to pick up ummi and asked to go to the hospital immediately"

"what does it matter why suddenly Mr. Gilang asked me to go to the hospital." inward ummi Hasanah

"well tell him to wait a little while I'll be ready soon"

Immediately Mr. Zaenab met Mr. Parjo in the living room.he conveyed what was said by Umm Hasanah earlier.before waiting for Umm Hasanah to appear and they immediately headed to the hospital. It took 40 minutes to get to the hospital that night. Ummi Hasanah immediately headed to the ICU waiting room to meet with Mr. Gilang and Ms. Laura.

"assalamualaikum"

"wa'alaikumsalam ummi, please sit down" said Ms Laura

"what's the matter, ma'am, why am I being picked up at nights like this. Is there anything urgent?"ask ummi Hasanah worried

"quiet ummi, nothing to worry about. There was even good news, Alhamdulillah Humaira had regained consciousness.he had searched for ummi, but because his condition was still weak so he went back to sleep. Doctor Mira has examined him thankfully Humaira's condition has made a lot of progress"

"thank God, thank God you have answered our prayers. "

"then where's Doctor Mira at this time?" ask Umm Hasanah

"doctor Mira is still in the ICU room, he said if Humaira opened her eyes again she would call them. But we should have stand by here so that when he wakes up he is not disappointed again"

"well if so"

They chatted back until they saw that Laura was sleepy. He immediately said goodbye to sleep first. While Mr. Gilang said goodbye to perform evening prayers at the hospital mosque which is quite far from the ICU room.

At 01:18 in the morning Mira's doctor came out of the ICU room. He headed to the ICU waiting room and found the figure of Ummi Hasanah.

"assalamualaikum ummi" reprimanded doctor Mira

"wa'alaikumsalam doctor, how is Humaira doctor's condition."

"Humaira had regained consciousness and at this time she reopened her eyes. He called back Ummi. Ummi should meet him first so that he returns his spirit to heal. But should not be more than five minutes ummi so that Humaira can return to rest"

"well doctor"

Ummi Hasanah immediately headed to the ICU room, he also used sterile clothes first before approaching Humaira's bed.

"assalamualaikum ummi's beautiful son how are you"

hearing the voice he so longed for it felt like Humaira woke up and hugged his Ummi. But unfortunately his condition was so weak that he was unable to do so. Even wanting to make a sound can't be done. Humaira finally shed tears

"don't cry son, you have to be strong, to ummi, Farhan is also all your family in the orphanage. Everyone is waiting for your recovery, baby. Keep the spirit to heal and never give up ya."

Humaira replied with a blink of her eye twice. Umm Hasanah wiped away Humaira's tears. He chanted the verses of the Qur'an in Humaira's ear so that he would be calmer. It was not long before Humaira closed her eyes again, but now she was calmer and asleep. Umm Hasanah kissed her forehead and said

"get well quickly, son, never be insecure if you are different and also susceptible to disease. Since you were a child you were vulnerable to pain, son, we do not understand if it is because your heart is troubled. Lucky we met with Mr. Gilang and his family. They are so generous that they want to adopt you and Farhan besides that all your treatment is borne by him. Therefore, quickly heal son and make them proud of the achievements you achieved"

Maybe everyone thought that Humaira could not hear what the people around her were saying but it was all wrong. Evidently after Umm Hasanah said like that he shed tears, he heard all but could not reply to Umm Hasanah because his condition was still weak.

Ummi Hasanah immediately headed for the exit of the ICU room. Then he continued to chant prayers for Humaira's recovery.

After 2 days of being treated in the ICU room, Humaira was finally able to be moved to a regular treatment room. Unbeknownst to Humaira, Farhan had been waiting in the room. When Humaira's bed was pushed in, Farhan hid and shocked him after he was nearby. With the presence of Farhan Humaira became spirit again.
