...Chapter 1: The Other World...

...Part 2:...

...~ ◊ ~...

The dazzling flash of the morning sun as it was reflected by the dew grains above the grass and the stones, the blue sky brilliantly stretched along the passing clouds, along with the cold wind gently hit my face.

Truly such a beautiful world permai nan jalak. Absolutely cannot be compared with my previous place in the old world.18 years of my life there, but everything is just full of pain. I had so much desire to change everything, but I had absolutely no power to do so.

But after I have died from there and come to this world that seems so glorious, I will sacrifice anything to preserve the beauty of the world that I now tread with pride. No matter what task and destiny awaits me ahead. At least this time, in this world, I will have the power to turn the world into what I aspire to be.

“This world looks so beautiful and fine. Is there any threat until you call {Three Major} must sacrifice themselves to call me and replace them?”

That question I addressed to the big ‘tree’ beside me, who was now looking at the beautiful expanse of grass and green trees below us.

Currently I and ‘tree’ big (Pramana) is on the top of the mountain not far from the forest where I first arrived in this world. In front of us was a spacious valley filled with vast expanses of forest and grassland with white sandy beaches at the end.

The blue sea sparkles when the bright light of the sun shines on it. The vast sky and ocean with a similar hue of color, seemed to fuse together at the end of the horizon.

My luster of admiration for the panorama came to a halt when Pramana who had been silent beside me said, “Excuse me..” while lifting my body with one hand and sitting me on her big head. I was surprised to try to hold on to the wooden branches that looked like crowns on his head so as not to fall from this height.

Quite loud and rough, that's how I felt as I sat on Pramana's head and slowly positioned my body to feel as comfortable as I could here. It really feels like sitting on a piece of wood.

“Look, there is east direction ... The place we are in today is called [First Land Peninsula], the easternmost tip of the continent,” Pramana said as she stretched her index finger out towards the vast ocean before us.

Easting. The sun in this world was also rising from the same direction as my home world. The colors of the sky and sea were also similar, at least as the sky and sea I knew in my home world in the past which had now become dirty and murky.

“This land is still beautiful as it is now thanks to {Three Hyang Utama} which ended ⁇ Zaman Malapetaka ⁇ ,” Pramana continued.

“Is ⁇ Zaman Malapetaga indeed as terrible as that?”

“At least that's the way it is. It took great sacrifice to restore this land as it was. Even the sacrifice of «Atma» from {Three Hyang Utama} is insufficient to do so. Instead, we the {Nation Shajara} must return the «Derma» and «Hara» we received from Sang Bentala to restore the fertility of this continent. That is why the body of our tree becomes dry to lose the beautiful leaves that always adorn our bodies before.

Even after all those sacrifices, other than this land, there were still some areas that were unable to return to their original state; like the frozen ground in the [Northern Snow Mountain], there were still some areas that were unable to return to their original state; like the frozen ground in the [Northern Snow Mountain], barren dry land in [South Sand Desert], and also smoldering bergagma land in [Southwest Fire Mountains].”

Pramana's soft voice sounded gloomy. I don't know what looks on his face right now, because I wouldn't be able to see it sitting on his head. Besides, I'm not sure I can understand the facial expression of a creature with skin like a tree trunk.

“Then what about Sang Bentala? Putting aside {Three Major}, did Sang Bentala, Bumantara, and Samudra do nothing at the time of the catastrophe?”

What I understand from the story that Pramana told earlier is that in this world there are Great Entities called Hyangs and also mortal beings who inhabit this world. But there are also so-called {Three Realms of World}, but I don't understand what they are classified as. Maybe they are in a different classification?

“Sang Bentala is a Land sheet that extends from the various ends of the universe. The Bumantara is the Sky that becomes a brilliant strand that stretches along the horizon. And the Ocean is a vast chain of Oceans that envelops the darkness of the world.

In other words, the vast land that we are on, that is the Bentala. The sky above our heads, that is the Bumantara. And the Sea that covers the world, that is the Ocean. We are called {Three Realms of the World}.”

“Ooh...” my newly understood murmur.

Apparently so. Bentala, Bumantara, and Samudra. They are not literal creatures, but real natural features that exist in this world.

“Consider that all the land in this world (including the one we live in today) is [Nature of Bentala], the clouds and the sky above are [Nature of Bumantara], [Nature of Bentala], then the ocean and everything in it is [Ocean Nature],” added Pramana continued his explanation.

“Then how did the state of [Nature Bumantara] and [Ocean Nature] during the ⁇ Disaster Age occur until now?”

If [Nature Bentala] is able to survive ⁇ Zaman Malapetaka ⁇ with the help of «Atma» from {Three Hyang Utama} and also the {Nation Shajara} who sacrificed «Derma» and «Hara»nya to restore fertility land, what about the other nature? Wasn't during the ⁇ Prosperity only [Nature of Bentala] inhabited by mortal beings?

The three realms seem to be physically connected. But from the story conveyed by Pramana before, it seems that the three realms in this world can be interpreted also separated dimensionally.

That means the sky and the ocean that appear from this nature do not fully describe the state of the other two realms. Because as seen today, the sky still stretches brilliantly and the ocean is still stretched clear.

“Entahlah..” replied Pramana with a soft look. “Although the destruction of the world can be prevented thanks to the sacrifice of {Three Hyang Utama}, yet the restoration of every realm cannot be done completely.

I, blessed with wisdom and knowledge, did not really know what was going on in the other world. Because after the end of the catastrophe, the, the {Hyang Yuwana} which is a link between the three worlds no longer dare to travel between realms to avoid the Catastrophe which is still a big question mark for the whole world.”

Also true. That is one of the tasks that I have to carry out in this world, namely uncovering and destroying the remaining {Hyang Gila} and the mastermind behind ⁇ Events of Catastrophe.

“But from the little I know is that Hyang Indra, one of the {Hyang Gila} who survived the extermination, managed to master [Alam Bumantara] after the disappearance of {Three Hyang Utama}, managed to take control of [Alam Bumantara] after the disappearance,” added Pramana while looking up his head facing upwards towards the vast expanse of sky.

Even though I had just come to this world and had only a little time spent with Pramana, it felt like I already knew her very well. Even I could feel the vexation and helplessness within him.

Does this also have something to do with the memory of «Atma» {Three Major} that are inside me? However, they are the ones who care for and raise Pramana since it is still a small bud.

“Removing that, who exactly are these Hyangs? There is a God or God in my home world which is a place to pray do’a and worshiped. Could it be that the Hyangs could also be considered like that?”

“H... I don't think.” replied Pramana who seemed to return a little calm. “Everything in this world goes as it should according to the cycle of life. Everyone has their own role and duty. Similarly, the Hyang; both {Three Hyang Utama} which became the basic and main representation in the wheel rotation in the life cycle, and the {Hyang Yuwana} who became their descendants in helping the third task.

Therefore, it is not appropriate to say do’a or worship to them. Although we as mortal beings are very respectful and grateful for the «Derma» they give for the life cycle above this world.

But the balance of this life cycle began to be shaken and collapsed due to the rebellion of the {Hyang Gila} who brought disaster. And do not rule out the possibility if there are some mortal beings out there who are deceived by their deceit to want to worship and deify them.”

Regret and resentment began to return from Pramana. I don't know what has really happened since the tragedy. But by looking at Pramana's attitude when bringing up the event, it seems that the tragedy was really the most somber and terrible moments in the history of this world.

“Before I will apologize if this question will make you feel uncomfortable. But what happens after the Age of Catastrophe ends? And how can mortal beings survive the tragedy of that destruction?”

Yes, I know this might upset and grim Pramana if she had to remember those dark times. But anyway, I have to question this. Knowledge and information are valuable things.

Especially for me who was suddenly summoned to this world and was promised the task of becoming a leader here. At least I must have qualified knowledge in carrying out my duties to replace {Three Major} who sacrificed themselves to call me to this world.

“No need to apologize. Helping and guiding you is one of my duties. Answering any questions and providing the knowledge you need to become the ideal leader for the world is also the testament of the {Three Major} Hyang they entrusted to me. It should be you who is ashamed. It is not appropriate for this wisdom-endowed creature to show such a pathetic emotion in front of you.”

I don't know why Pramana's words this time sounded more respectful to me. Well, I guess that's the kind of attitude that should be shown to the Promised Leader like me. I think I should also increase my charisma. At least by having the proper authority as a leader, will be able to convince the people who have been waiting for my arrival to this world.

And of course it will also make it easier for me to give influence and orders to them according to my will as a leader.

“The end of the ⁇ Devil Age took place after the disappearance of {Three Major} who sacrificed their «Atma» in order to prevent the destruction of the world. Thus began ⁇ Zaman Kehampaan ⁇ world without the main supporters of «Ihwal Dunia».

The mortal beings can survive during the tragedy thanks to Hyang Gegana who protects all mortal souls in its shade. But when he is gone, his protection is lost. Similarly, the {Hyang Yuwana} who no longer give «Derma»nya to us (the mortal beings) to set «Ihwal Alam» above the universe.

{Three Realms of World} that have not fully recovered from the brink of destruction, can no longer give the blessing of nature as it was. That is why it is for the sake of keeping blessings in the land [Nature of Buana], we the {Nation Shajara} decided to restore «Derma» and «Hara» that we received from nature which used to be our food to re-try to fertilize this damaged land.

Because the {Hyang Yuwana} who no longer give «Derma»nya, the mortal feels abandoned and abandoned, the, until some mortal beings slowly began to lose their trust in them and decided life was no longer dependent on «Derma» the Hyang. Especially {Nation Jania} who decided to close themselves in the land they built themselves.”

“Lantas what about the other nations?”

“{Nation Hayawan} with the nature of their loyalty, certainly still hold fast to the initial order of the world and try to keep trusting the Hyang. But there was a long famine after the catastrophe that forced them to fight each other and kill for food. That's why since then they began to live spread in groups of tribes who are fighting each other on this continent.”

Pramana appeared to be silent again before continuing. Feel the sadness from him. That's just natural. Because {Nation Hayawan} who is mentioned as a nation full of loyalty must be forced to live betraying and fighting each other with their own nation in order to survive in the shackles of hunger.

“While {Nation Man}, they are a nation that has ‘perfection’ with a myriad of desires. They were born in [Alam Bumantara], but eventually had to be driven from there and collapsed towards [Alam Bentala].”

“What caused them to be expelled from [Alam Bumantara]?”

“Entahlah. The knowledge I have is only limited to what is in this [Alam Bentala]. That's why I don't know the reason why the Bumantara kicked them out.

But after the collapse of {Nation Man} from [Alam Bumantara], The Bentala with his generosity received (or can be called ‘mutu’) {Nation Man} in order to live peacefully in this [Alam Bentala].

In addition, the Bumantara did not expel them arbitrarily. Because After all {Nation Man} is a creature created from it. Therefore, Sang Bumantara gave protection to {Nation Man} before laying them down from their native nature; namely by providing them protection with «Atma» from {Hyang Seven Colors} to the seven best humans to be assigned to be the guide and leader of his nation.

Of the seven chosen people that {Nation Man} founded magnificent kingdoms on [Alam Buana] (their new residence) with the seven chosen humans as the King and ruler. They live by devoting themselves in the life cycle as well as to the Hyang who give them «Atma» and protection for prosperity.

«Derma Proteci» from {Hyang Seven colors} it is passed down through the houses of the Kings. But after many ages have passed, especially after the Age of Catastrophe, the seven Kings have begun to lose their virtues and have slowly become negligent by abusing the power given to them to satisfy the endless desires of man.

They fight each other for greed, greed for all desires, victory only for Pride, the emergence of envy and betrayal, bound by a chain of Anger and revenge, Lazy to correct mistakes, and Lust for pleasure. With all that blasphemy, the seven Kings of man are now referred to as {Seven Kings of Angkara}.”

“Maybe the nature of ‘desire’ is endless that makes {Nation Man} expelled from [Nature Bumantara]?”

“That is the most reasonable reason.”

It is undeniable if indeed that is the nature of human beings; greedy, Voracious, Arrogant, Envy, Anger, Lazy, and Lust. The humans in my home world are also filled with such disgusting traits.

But in any case, that is what is in man brought about since their creation and birth. I can't deny that I have it too. I am also one of those beings born as a human.

From what Pramana said earlier, it seems like {Nation Man} in this world is also the same as the humans I know in my home world. Or different?

“Then I came to this world, all I have seen is {Nation Shajara} like you and your colleagues in the forest. I have not seen any other nation; either {Nation Hayawan}, {Nation Jania}, even {Nation Man}. If I could ask, what would they look like? Do humans look like me? Because in my home world, creatures like myself are also called humans.”

I asked Pramana. Perhaps with the explanation of their physical images I would be able to decide how to respond if I would meet them later on, and also to lessen my shock when I first saw them. Because I'm sure they're creatures that will look weird, like ‘tree’ can talk that I'm currently riding for example. At least for creatures other than humans.

“Yes. {Nation Man} is just like you. Soft-skinned, some are slightly hairy or commonly called ‘rambut’, and various other weak-looking physical forms. Well, arguably {Nation Man} is the nation with the weakest physical body, yet also the most beautiful. Up to the {Hyang Yuwana} envy your body and imitate it.”

I do not understand how the {Hyang Yuwana} can imitate the body shape of other creatures. Because I can't imagine what those Hyangs are like.

“Is there a reason why {Three Hyang Utama} chose me, which is {Nation Man} to be the leader in this world? Wouldn't that cause injustice to other nations?”

“Entahlah. But certainly {Three Hyang Utama} has an important reason behind your selection that is a human to be the leader.”

Could it be because humans are considered the most created creatures ‘perfect’? But isn't it the opposite that humans are also the weakest creatures?

“While {Nation Hayawan}, they are animals that walk on two legs and use two hands. Think of it like a half-animal. Many types of them, depending on where the tribe and their families come from. Some are hoofed and horned, or clawed and fanged. Each tribe has its own advantages and disadvantages.”

“Ah, I can imagine it. Then what about {Nation Jania}? If not wrong, the word ‘Jania’ means ‘Jin’ or ‘Peri’, but I can't imagine what this creature looks like.”

“They are creatures born from «Ketosakan» in its darkness [Ocean Nature]. But from «Ketusakan» that they get the power to manipulate a small part of «Ihwal Alam» by absorbing the darkness of the Ocean.

But after their people chose to go to the surface to seek the warmth of the light, the Ocean was angry and took back their physical bodies. That's why {Nation Jania} is now a supernatural being and only able to possess the body of other mortal beings.

And after the end of ⁇ Zaman Malapetaka, they are now closing themselves on their own land, precisely at [Acker Island], south of [First Land Peninsula] ini”

“You really know and have knowledge about many things huh. It is fitting that you are called a creature with true wisdom. For that, I will ask that you be willing to trouble yourself to help and guide in all the tasks that are brought to me from now on.”

“Ah, no need to humble yourself to beg. You just have to give orders. You are the leader who has been promised as the savior of this world. It is fitting that a creature like myself present obedience to you.”

Pramana seemed very happy and happy when she said that. Perhaps that was how he felt after a thousand years of waiting had paid off with my coming.

Hearing Pramana's bright words, I also gently smiled. Perhaps Pramana also showed this expression on her cambored face.

Compliance, obedience, loyalty, and loyalty. I don't expect much for all of that. Because of the stories, chronicles, and conflicts that have occurred in this world, it would not be surprising if there would be many creatures in this world who would doubt my position as a leader who is the support of all «Initial Dunia».

After all, it was too big a position to be occupied by a human child who came from a world out of nowhere like myself.

There are various strange beings and entities in this world, as well as the workings of the world cycle that may be completely different and not exist in my home world. It would not be surprising if I felt completely alien to all the images in this fantasy-like world.

But somehow I feel so familiar with this world after being summoned here. It was as if the feelings and memories within me easily received all these ‘weird’.

Maybe what is called «Atma» from {Three of the Main} is what has unknowingly helped me adapt after ‘ reborn’ in this world. Does this «Atma» {Three Hyang Utama} really carry their memory and power inside me?

I don't know... Whatever it is I don't care. The most important thing is that I can enjoy life in this beautiful world. And with my strength and position as leader, I will not hesitate to turn all the rotten things in this world into the way I want them to be.

At least that's what I've been dreaming of all this time. It has the power to change the world and shape it according to what I crave.

However, with the complexity of the stories, history, and various chronicles that adorn this world, I began to doubt whether I could really lead this world as it had been intended. And again, it would be bad if I could not live up to the expectations and expectations of the inhabitants of this world by being the ideal leader for them and fulfilling my duty to restore the prosperity of all nature.

Well... I think it's going to be a long story
