Acts 11: The Bitter Reality (Part 1)

"Ka... Kai.." Kika's voice trembled slightly. He sat down limply while still trying to hug Dede tightly. After seeing how scary the battle was, Kika could no longer stand up.

In front of Kika was now billowing smoke that was so thick. The puff of smoke that soared high came from the car and also the motor that had turned into scrap fragments.

The Trap Trap...

Kai slowly walked out of the thick plume of smoke in front of Kika.

Kai walked with a little shackle. Kai painstakingly dragged his body that was filled with various kinds of injuries.

Kai showed a very flat expression. Kai looked straight ahead with his eyeballs turned to ashes. Blank. Kai's eyes don't look like they have a soul.

Kai walked very slowly. There was a strange feeling that filled Kai's heartstrings after taking out all the thugs that confronted him.

"Aren't you papa Kai?" asked Kika while trying to stand up to welcome the man who had saved her.

"I'm not papa. That you?" answer Kai briefly.

"A... I'm not papa" Kika managed to get up and put her arm on Kai's arm. Kai could feel Kika's body trembling with fear.

Kai then turned to stare at the puff of smoke coming from the former battle area.

The thick smoke slowly thinned before then completely disappeared.

Kai and Kika instantly gasped as they saw a sea of red lying before them.

Kai realized that he had just killed someone. Not one, two, or three. Kai had killed all twenty people lying lifeless in front of him.

Aware of what he had done, Kai's blank stare became even more empty.

With an expressionless face Kai said to Kika, "Hug me tight. Never be released!"

Kika bengong did not understand what Kai wanted. Kai did not say anything to answer Kika's bengong expression

But when Kai saw the condition of the road in front of them that was already very broken apart. Kai concluded they could not possibly continue the journey using Udin motorcycles.

But on the other hand, Kai still can not return to the village Cijagung. Fortunately, Kai was thinking of a solution to get to Bandung safely.

"Have you ever tried to fly?"

"Not yet" answered Kika.

"Prepare, maybe your first experience will be a little dizzy."

Kai said the sentence as if he had tried to fly to calm Kika down. This was also his first experience. Plus, Kai doesn't yet know whether or not this idea will work.

"Just hug me as tightly as possible, we'll fly now."

"Do you mean you're gonna take me with body-lightening science like I just saw?" ask Kika.

"It can be said that."

Kika tightened Dede's sling and placed both hands on Kai's neck. While both of her legs Kika wrapped around Kai's feet.

"Is this enough?" ask Kika.

Kai nodded. Because Kai plans to use both hands, so that later Kai will not be able to hold Kika.

"Are you ready?" ask Kai to Kika.

"I'm ready," Kika nodded steadily.

Kai then threw the pebble as hard as he could into space.

'Roll!' Kai and Kika immediately stepped up.

Kai quickly moved the pebble in his right hand to his left, then he threw the stone as far as possible.

'Roll!' Kai and Kika manage to move forward in space when Kai scavenges the pebble that Kai threw just now.

Before they fell, Kai moved the pebble back to his left hand. Then he threw the pebble again.

'Roll!'

Zap up!

Kai and Kika are seen hovering in the air at a fairly high speed. But because the power of Kai's throw is not so powerful. Kai did not go at a speed that was in line with Kai's expectations.

From up there Kai saw the roof of the residents' house hundreds of meters in front of them.

'Roll!'

Zap up!

'Ah 'Ah. It worked!' peekik Kai's.

Kai then threw the pebble in his hand into the air.

'Roll!'

From a height, Kai's visibility became even wider. Then when Kai saw a cellular signal tower a few kilometers ahead of him, he again activated his special ability.

By utilizing the special ability of the pulung, the travel speed of the two of them became much faster than when they rode the dirt bike owned by Udin.

Kai regretted. Had Kai used this way from the start, Kai might not have been confronted by the thugs and turned into a murderer.

"I'm a killer." whispered Kai as he threw the pebble in his hand back.

Kika who accidentally heard the whisper of Kai's voice tried to hug Kai tighter so that Kai became calmer.

Kai remained cold. Concentrate without expression. Feeling a hug is not enough to make Kai calm, Kika and merta kissed Kai's lips with gentleness.

"Thank you Kai... You saved me and Dede, too" said Kika

Kai heard the honesty of the despair conveyed by Kika. But Kai ignored her and muttered again, "I'm a murderer."

Kika shed her tears. He felt guilty for causing Kai to be in the mental state he is today.

"Please don't blame yourself Kai. You are the saviour of my life and so is Dede" Kika whispered to Kai.

Kai still did not answer. He continued to concentrate in silence while activating his special ability.

In less than 10 minutes, they finally reached the outskirts of Bandung.

'Is that his house?' ask Kai on the System.

[Host Volume.]

Based on instructions from the System, Kai is directed to head to his new home. The house is not worthy of being called a house. He deserves to be called a palace.

'Roll!'

Kai and Kika teleport right to the front door of the palace. They finally reached their destination.

"I... Whose house is Kai?" ask Kika amazed.

"My house" replied Kai.

"Ka... You bought this house for us to live in?" ask Kika.

"It can be said that," Kai lied. Kika's face was red.

'Where are the keys to the house?' ask Kai on the System.

[Home using face recognition lock. Open it!]

'alright.'

Kai easily opened the door of the house that had secretly scanned his face.

Kai and Kika entered into a very spacious and magnificent house. Once inside, Kai and Kika are immediately greeted by various furniture that also looks super luxurious.

"Wow... Kai... This house is amazing..." Kika was again amazed.

Kai still felt a huge wedge in his heart. In a flat tone, Kai said to Kika, "You should put Dede to bed as soon as possible. You can use any room you like."

Kika can also feel the pain that is being felt by Kai. Kika just nodded slowly.

"I'll be waiting for you there. Your wounds must be treated immediately" Kai continued, pointing to a bar not far from where they were standing.

"Alright," Kika replied half a whisper.

Kika looked at Kai for a moment who walked slowly towards the Bar. Then he turned around to look for a room that he could use in this super magnificent palace.

Kika who has not memorized the house plan finally decided to choose the first room he managed to find.
