On a different side that afternoon, the yokai Zeniko walked towards the yokai Inaba (Aika's foster home), which was located in the middle of a quiet forest that could not be seen by ordinary human eyes. Zeniko intends to persuade Inaba to join him and his men from Akira's yokai, in order to attack Tokyo. Arriving at Inaba's doorstep, Zeniko knocked on the door and waited. After a while, the door opened and Inaba appeared in front of him.

"Inaba, I need your help," said Zeniko as she stared intently at Inaba.

"Zen, I've stopped doing such things" Inaba replied firmly.

"But this time it's different, we can get a lot of power and food if we attack the city of Tokyo" Zeniko said.

"No, I told you no!" firmly Inaba.

Hearing that answer, Zeniko began to feel impatient. He showed his angry face and threatened Inaba, "You won't be able to get away from this, Inaba. You'll regret refusing my offer."

However, Inaba was not affected by Zeniko's threat. He reaffirmed, "I will not join you and commit a crime. Now get out of here!"

Zeniko who felt unable to force Inaba, finally left feeling dissatisfied. Inaba was relieved that she could reject the evil invitation offered by Zeniko and her men. He then returns to his home and returns to his routine as a yokai who guards the forest and does not interfere in human affairs.

But that night, after Inaba returned to her house, suddenly the door of Inaba's house opened and Zeniko appeared before her. Inaba was alarmed and asked, "What's up, Zeniko?"

With her right hand, Zeniko showed a picture of a girl with her magic. The child is Aiko, Inaba's adopted child who is young and very loved.

"Inaba, this girl is your adopted daughter, right?" asked Zeniko in a serious tone.

"This what are you doing, Zeniko?" inaba asked with a trembling voice.

"Surprisingly, I just found out you have a foster child" Zeniko said "This is the way to get you to join me. If you don't join me, I'll hurt him" Zeniko said firmly.

Inaba felt very upset and angry. He felt Zeniko had already overstepped the mark by threatening the person he cared about the most. "You can't do that, Zeniko! I will never join you and commit a crime. Don't bother Aika, don't get her involved in this!" inaba.

However, Zeniko was unshakable and remained a threat to Inaba. "You should think twice, Inaba. I'll hurt Aika if you don't want to join me."

Inaba feels dilemma. He felt unbearable if he had to leave Aika in danger, but at the same time he also did not want to commit a crime. After thinking for a moment, Inaba finally made up her mind. "alright. I will join you," Inaba said in a low voice.

Hearing Inaba's decision, Zeniko instantly removes her magic that shows Aika's image and begins to forget Aika. However, Inaba knew she had to pay the price for her decision. He must commit a crime along with Zeniko as a yokai's henchman named Akira. Inaba can only hope that she will find a way to free herself from Zeniko's entanglement and return to her peaceful life in the forest.

In his private room at this time Inaba felt trapped in a difficult situation. He knew that cooperating with Zeniko would mean fighting humans who had been living side by side with supernatural beings like himself. However, if she refused, Aika would become a victim.

"In a situation like this, what am I supposed to do?" inaba thought in her heart. "I can't ignore Zeniko's threats, but I can't betray the humans we've been protecting together." Inaba knew that she had to choose between two difficult choices, and she chose to cooperate with Zeniko. However, she did not want to tell Aika about her decision. She fears that Aika will be disappointed and hurt if she finds out that her foster father is involved in a crime.

Inaba felt very heavy. He knew that his decision would have a major impact on the lives of humans and supernatural beings in their village. However, she also knows that she must fight to protect Aika and ensure that she survives Zeniko's threat.

"I hope that one day, I can find a way to correct this mistake" Inaba thought. "I have to fight to protect Aika, but I also have to fight to make the right decisions and protect the peaceful life for the innocent humans and supernatural beings in our village."

After Aika lands herself in her house, Aika yells and cries roaring "Huaaaaa... Haaa..... Haaa..... "

Inaba came out of her room and saw what happened to her son "What's wrong, Aika? Why are you crying?" Inaba hugged her daughter with a worried feeling

"Dad I tried everything I could to conquer Keyaru's heart, but I failed. He doesn't respond to my feelings. She said she likes other people, I'm pretty sure that the person she likes is Rin Rihito" Aika explained in her tears

"I know how you feel, Aika. But you have to understand, Keyaru is indeed a yokai but half of him is a human. He has the freedom to like humans or yokai. Besides we can't force someone to love us, especially if he's human."

Aika took off her embrace and wiped her tears "But I love her, Dad. I can't get rid of this feeling."

Inaba held onto Aika's shoulder and tried to please Aika by saying "I understand, Aika. But you have to try to accept this reality. Maybe someday, you'll meet someone who understands you and accepts you for who you are."

"But what if I don't meet someone like that, Dad? I don't want to live alone" Aika said with a hoarse voice after crying, from her eyes also still look sad and full of sadness.

"You'll never be alone, Aika. You always have family and friends who care and love you. You can always count on me as your father" Inaba hugged Aika affectionately again

"Thank you, Dad. I feel better after talking to Dad." Aika started to calm down

"Don't cry anymore, huh? You have to be strong and keep smiling despite the difficult trials before you" Inaba said

That same night in his private office, Nakamura sat at his desk and stared at the files in front of him. He looks attentive and serious. "This person, he must be involved in a lot of unnatural things," Nakamura thought in his heart.

"I have to find enough evidence to arrest him and bring him to justice." He feels responsible for protecting the citizens of Tokyo from dangerous supernatural creatures.

As a supernatural detective, Nakamura has faced numerous cases involving yokai and other supernatural beings. However, this case is different. It deals with the leader of the yokai who has great influence in the city of Tokyo. Nakamura knew that if he did not manage to catch him, then there would be a greater danger for the citizens of the city.
