"Is Maurin crying, madam?" yelled Ana worried. Maurin's a spoiled girl, that little girl wouldn't be comfortable if she stayed too long.
"No. Maurin's good. They're playing with my husband right now."
"I'm sorry that I'm back to bother you, madam."
Mama Elena swept that hand, grasping it tightly full of supplication. "Can we talk to you for a second, Ana?"
Ana nodded in response. The two women sat themselves in a chair. Marcus, the man chose to stand.
"Ana, I know my son's treatment of you is outrageous. But we also have to think of the children."
Ana frowned confusedly. "Sorry lady. Actually, what are you talking about right now. Which son of yours hurt me. I even just got to know the madam yesterday."
Mama Elena closed. "Marcus. He's my son."
Make Ana instantly buyak. That man-so, that man is the son of the figure who is now in front of him? The figure who suddenly doted on the princess for no one obvious reason?
Then, when they came here, did they want to take both of their hearts?
No. gabe.
Ana rem*s her fingers. His head is deep. "Do you want to take the kids away from me?"
The fear multiplies. Ana realizes she has nothing to do with them. He was just a poor man, and they had everything.
If they go to court to get custody of their two children, then it is certain he will not be able to defend it.
He's too poor. She's a useless woman. He's weak. He could not even support his two children with a decent life.
If you have to lose both. He can't.
No. gabe. Don'tdon't. He could not live without his two angels.
"Did-of"
Until those two knees were at Elena's mom's feet. It was fine if he humbled himself once more. She was a lowly woman who could do nothing for her two children.
"Please don't take them from me, ma'am. I beg. I have nothing in this world anymore. Only those I have. They are my life. I'd do anything for you. Whatever. Just so you don't take my kids. I beg the madam. I beg you, Madam."
"Let's... No. gabe. Please don't be like this."
Mama Elena roused Ana from her crevice. Back sitting the woman in her chair with a heart throbbing pain felt tightness. However she was a mother, she knew very well what Ana was feeling.
"Please Mistress don't take the children away from me, I beg you," Ana pleaded. The woman almost gave up. He was afraid, he was really afraid that the woman in front of him would actually take his two children.
"No Ana. I promise, I won't do it. I'm also a mother."
"But, I beg you. Marry Marcus. After all, children need a father figure."
Ana rem*s her fingers. "S-I can't. Sorry." Submissive Ana. Marrying the man was like opening an old wound that was still gaping. Pain, pain, made him so miserable. Even though he forgave the man, he could not lie to his heart. The injury traumatized him.
"You think about it first, Ana. Don't be rash. Weigh all the bad good. I know my son may have hurt you a lot, but the kids need him too. Please think carefully about Ana."
"I can't."
The crying came back. The issue can no longer be dammed. The heart still felt pain as it recalled the past that was so stifling the chest.
Really Ana did not want to be tied to the figure who had cut her wounds.
But Ana did not want to be a hypocrite. Children need the father. Especially now that Mallfin still needs intensive care. The cost is thinning, he can not take care of both with just his two fragile hands.
Ana's tired.
But there is no shoulder that can support all the burdens resting on his shoulders.
Ana's sick. So sick that it makes it difficult to take a breath for a moment.
Until the swelling felt warm spread over his body, the crying increasingly wet his face. The warm embrace of the mother who had not felt for a long time, now seemed to embrace it warm.
"It's okay. Crying away. I know it's not easy for you, Ana."
