Zayd? why is my name in that book, Zaid thought. He was in his room. Was the prophecy true, he thought again, impossible.
Chiara knew Zaid was not being disturbed, so she decided to cook for lunch. Coincidentally he also bought daily necessities such as basic food while in the market earlier.
Just as he was about to cook, the door of the house was knocked from the outside four times.
"Is there anyone inside?" The heavy voice sounded.
Zaid was like knowing the voice, he got up from the bed and decided to leave the room.
"Yes, just a minute." Chiara walked towards the door. His hand opened the door.
Zaid peeked behind the wall, with one eye, he could see the two people, out there looked the grandmother who was with her son at that time.
"Is he the one, son?" Ask the grandmother about her son. His son was one of the guardian witches, but he was now dressed normally. Maybe he was told not to do duty first until his chest was completely healed.
"Yes, he's the one, Mom."
"Oh, you, that Uncle, right?" Although she was not wearing witch clothes, it turned out that Chiara could still remember the look of the person. "What do you need?"
"We're looking for you here and there, from house to house" said the grandmother, "eventually. I just want to give you a little gift. Thank you for saving my son. If only you hadn't given him the cure, he might not have recovered." The grandmother handed him a basket of fruits.
"Oh no, Grandma. No need," declined Chiara subtly.
"That's it, it's okay, just take it, please."
Chiara refused again.
"Well, if you don't want to, I command you to accept it, if you don't accept it, then you don't respect me this old man" he said.
"Well then, Grandma," Chiara finally accepted.
"Sir, do you want to go in first?" Tawar Chiara later.
"Oh, no, no need. Thank you." Thank you."
"Be good." I can't force that granny, Chiara thought.
Grandma and her son left, and then left.
Chiara then closed the door.
"I didn't think it was you." Zaid came out from behind the wall.
"Me, you mean?"
Chiara understands. He just said, "Hmmm."
"You want fruit?" Chiara threw an apple that Zaid caught. Chiara herself sat on a chair in the living room, peeling oranges.
"Oh yeah, Zaid, you should know one thing." Chiara got up and went to her room.
"What?"
Chiara returned to the living room.
"This thing. My father found it in the old book." Chiara thrust it at Zaid. It was the flash that Rhys had recently discovered, Maybe Rhys had Chiara keep it.
Zaid seemed interested, especially when he saw the writing of some sort of abbreviation: ORT.
"You know what that means, Zaid?"
"I don't know. Here, keep it again."
"Zaid, maybe there's a clue inside. Hints about the prophecy."
"Aah! Nevermind! Why do you keep talking about divination, divination and divination!? I'm sick of hearing that word. Know it? The prophecy is not entirely true. Don't believe in that prophecy, or any of it!"
"He-hey, Zayd!"
Zaid ignored him, he went into the room and slammed the door hard enough.
Chiara was a little shocked, she decided to go to Zaid's room. Unfortunately, the door was locked. Chiara just stood beside the door.
"E, Zaid." Chiara sighed. "Yes you're right that the prophecy wasn't entirely true. Nor do I really believe in divination, for it is no different from guessing; it can be true, it can be false. But Zaid, you think, the planet Imub is in this mess, like this morning, the goblins are attacking again. Either tomorrow-tomorrow might be even worse. And is it unnatural that there are signs of a prophecy about this planet coming back to peace, I feel enthusiastic and keep talking about it?" It's just natural, isn't it?"
The real Zaid listening in his room was silent.
Chiara sighed again. "I knew I was wrong and talked about it again. But I believe in the prophecy because I want it to really come true. Not even just me, everyone in town, and everyone in the world, if they knew about you, maybe they'd be crazier than me.
"You should also be grateful, Zaid. If I didn't care, and didn't save you back then, just assume you're a lifeless body floating in the river, I don't know what's going to happen to you."
After that, Zaid who was in his room heard the sound of the door being opened and closed slowly, obviously Chiara had already entered his room.
In his heart, Zaid actually felt bad.
