58. Father and son meeting

The legal authority of Mr. Ridwan has planned that Zaki will meet with his father, Mr. Ridwan.

And Mr. Ridwan himself is honestly right to hope that Zaki comes not only to take a recording of his testimony that will aggravate the punishment of Rara. In addition to the testimony and evidence given by Mr. Ridwan, Rara will not be able to avoid the entanglement of the law anymore.

The evidence possessed by Mr. Ridwan really can make Rara entangled in the chapter that has been drafted by Zaki.

Attempted murder is one of the hardest punishments, and now Rara gets a multi-layered article from Zaki who means that his sentence can turn into a life sentence and if it can be worse he will get a death sentence from it. Especially kidnapping with a tendency to kill.

“Mr Zaki has arrived here, mr.” The lawyer said in a soft tone. Mr. Ridwan is daydreaming, he actually hesitated to then enter and disturb him, but the presence of Zaki is very much awaited by Mr. Ridwan.

“Ah Tell Zaki to enter.” He said with a happy twinkle in his eyes, not as usual who was just lethargic waiting for the court schedule that soon would also call out to him. Actually, in addition to waiting for a call from the court of justice Rara also awaits the submission of religious courts related to her marriage which is over the edge.

“Already, he's waiting in the living room.” Said Mr. Ridwan's lawyer in a respectful tone. Mr. Ridwan only gave a small snort, he realized there was no way Zaki would want to enter this house into the back garden in his current place. This is because he himself cannot keep the behavior and respect he should receive from Zaki if he is right and does not do bad things like that he did it yesterday, with Rara and the other women all this time.

“Alright I'll catch up to the living room.” He said with a heavy sigh that followed his words. 

“mari sir, we have also prepared recording equipment that you want to use to make a will too right?” said the lawyer in a soft tone.

“Hmm I want to speak privately first before I give testimony and also make a will.” Said Mr. Ridwan in a soft tone. He does not know whether this time he will be accepted or even rejected with Zaki, but with the presence of Zaki here, at this time, makes at least he has hope of forgiveness from his biological child.

“Alright Sir, it doesn't matter either. I will wait for the master outside only, call me when the master finishes speaking in person.” He said while driving Mr. Ridwan to the living room but after that he left Mr. Ridwan with Zaki alone, while he waited in the front garden until Mr. Ridwan called him to record a testimony and also a will.  

Mr. Ridwan walked slowly in the quite large living room. Zaki just sat down and looked at his father who looked fragile and looked much older than when he met. His face also looks haggard and does not shine, while his body is slightly thinner so that a sense of pity arises from Zaki when he sees his father's body that decreases so much.

But in contrast to the gaze that emerged from the netra of Mr. Ridwan, he really felt immeasurable happiness when he could be here with his boys who he had often hurt.

“Zaki.”

Zaki just stared at his father more intensely without a word more, only a deep gaze that implied the yearning from son to father.

Without a word, Zaki immediately scattered and hugged the bodies of his father who had often hurt his own family. But now there was no grudge left in Zaki's heart.

“Force father, forgive father even though maybe this mistake will not be forgiven. And say this apology to your mother. My sins piled up so much on him, a great woman whom I had been hurting for so long. No words are appropriate, for I can be forgiven. But just convey my regret so that when I go home later, so while in the detention house, I will not get a great guilt due to my unforgivable sin.” Said Mr. Ridwan in a soft tone. The way Ridwan's father spoke was weakened, as if all the power he had had been forcibly frowned upon by his age and guilt, but every word expressed by his father was clear Zaki could hear in his ears.

He was saddened by what his father said, but he just nodded, trying to convey to his mother what his father said was the mandate he had to convey to his mother.

“Allah who is forgiving will forgive the sins of mankind so great, let alone us as a human being? Man is a place of sin and wrong, so we must forgive him. The guilty should also turn around and not commit the same mistake again.” Zaki said softly, He realized that his father must have repented.

His father could only nod his head in a happy nod that erupted from deep within his heart.

His son who always appear proud, cleverness and also his achievements that stand out, obedient and also successful in his career. The perfect combination makes Ridwan's father know this also thanks to the hard work of his wife who educates and teaches good things to his son.
