Anindira sat down at her desk and sighed.
Tok, tock, tock, tock,
"Come in,"
"Hi Dira,"
"Hi Clair,"
"What's wrong? looks like today you don't look all right."
"I'm fine Clair."
"really?"
"Yes, of course." With a bitter smile.
"Alright if there is nothing, this is a special coffee left by your beloved lover." Claira Goda.
"Clair..."
"Why? you should be happy, right?"
"Yes-yes I'm happy."
"Ah, you are ashamed to admit it in front of me yes, come on, I am your best friend nothing to be ashamed of."
"Clair, just don't tease me anymore, I'm at work, so I can't focus." He said while checking the marketing report records on his laptop.
"Okay, I won't bother you, but if there's any similar story I will."
Anindira stops her work, she recalls the incident this morning when she met her mother Claira.
"Yes, I know." He said while continuing his work.
"I know you have Dira's problem, I don't know what it is, but I wish you could tell me the same story." Claira said in her heart.
"I'd like to see this month's earnings report, is it okay?"
"Of course, you're the star in my company, so you have rights too."
Time had passed, Anindira came home from the office.
"Hi,"
"Dean, hi,"
"It seems like your mood is not good today."
"...."
"Let's go in,"
Dean told Anindira to get in the car,
"Now tell me, what happened, who made you unhappy?"
"Dean, I met Clair's mother, she thinks you're with Clair, and I'm third among you."
"Why does Clair's mother think that way?"
"So, maybe Clair told you he likes you."
"Yes, maybe."
"I have to how? clair's mother who used to be friendly to me now hates me, I already consider her like my own real mother, how I deal with her later." Said panicked
"Call down, Dira, you're not wrong, Clair's mom just misunderstood, so you don't have to panic, listen to me, have you told Clair about this?"
Anindira shook her head.
"Well, we'll tell Clair first, then we'll sort out this misunderstanding, we'll meet Clair's mother, and tell her the truth."
Anindira nodded.
"Let's go home,"
"Wait, if I go home with you what about my bike?"
"Motorized?"
"Yes, motor."
"You're here on a bike?"
"Yes,"
"I don't think I'll see your car in the parking lot."
"Then I go down first."
"Wait a minute, today's weather is very hot."
"Yes, I know, so what if the weather's hot?"
"I'll take you home, so you don't get too hot."
"Then my bike?"
"I told Bram to take her."
"But pity, Bram's gonna get hot too."
"Father, when men are afraid of heat."
Anindira smiles.
"That's dong, smile, from earlier cake."
In the middle of the journey...
"I'm thirsty,"
"You wanna stop by the cafe first?"
"No need, no need to go to the cafe, just drink doang, this is yours, right?"
"Yes." Yeah."
Anindira took Dean's old bottle and drank it
Dean smiled, though,
"Drinking water is my mark."
"Yes I know, there's a trace.I mean the water in this bottle is only half, so I think the other half of it must have been you drink."
Anindira misbehaves, then returns the bottle to Dean.
Dean blush, he smiles, and his cheeks look red.
"Don't think anything."
"No, I don't think there's just one kind of thing."
"David,"
"I'm kidding, baby, how's our son doing? I haven't seen him in a long time or spoken on the phone with him, in paint too rarely."
"Darling? Our kid?" Anindira.
"Dear, our son Rajendra, when you forget your own son."
"Dean you don't keep joking around dong."
"Loh, it's true that later he will be my son too."
Anindira looked at Dean with haru,
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
"I am amazed by your words."
"Ter ha ru, not to be teased."
"Hahaha, my son deserves a lot of attention, because he's my only pride." He said with a proud smile.
"If it's about your son, you're going to get really excited, I'm getting a little jealous."
"So seriously you're jealous of Rendra?"
"Yes, even though he's our son, I must be jealous."
"Not yet our son Dean."
"But I've considered him my own son, so, he's my son, your son, our son."
"Okay, okay I understand."
"Good Girls,"
A few moments later,
"We've arrived" said Dean.
Anindira got out of the car, though,
"You seriously just got out of my car."
"Why indeed?"
"You don't want me to stop by first."
"Oh, you wanna stop by? if you want to stop by and meet the child ki.ta kok." Anindira said with a smile.
Dean smiled, and he was wrong.
"Let's go in,"
Dean followed Anindira from behind.
"Rendra hasn't come home yet?"
"At the other end he'll be home soon."
"Usually you always feel anxious if Rendra comes home late."
"Yes, but now that I'm learning not to be overprotective with her, I don't want to make her uncomfortable with my excessive anxiety, he's a boy he should be able to take care of himself, right?"
"Of course, he is strong, tough and has principles, in this day and age boys like Rendra are rare."
"What if she likes a girl or has a boyfriend?"
"Yes, it's natural, even kids his age must feel it."
"Why am I worried about ya, how about he go to his girl friend's house then they both are shiny."
"Hus, don't talk carelessly, you have to trust your son, no matter what happens to him he always tells you the same story, every time he wants to go he also always asks for permission and tells you his whereabouts."
"Yes, astoge why do I think that way."
"What astoge? you have a habit of using good and correct Indonesian sentences."
"Yes, yes, Master."
"Did Rendra always come home every night?"
"Not really, but I often go home at night, because there are extra classes."
"He was busy."
"Yes, he could barely take his time to relax."
"What did he do on campus, to the point that he didn't have time for himself?"
"Yes definitely studied Dean, moreover, he was a curious child, so he often learned new things, every activity on campus he participated in."
"Your son is amazing, I must admit he looks like his father."
"Yes, he looks like his father."
"But he also looks like you, he has a very good heart."
"Of course, he's my son."
"You two are so great."
"Don't keep praising me, I'm not used to hearing words of praise."
"From now on you have to get used to it, because I'll be with you every day."
"Haha,"
