CHAPTER 8. MATCHMAKING PLAN

In the neighboring country, Alan who already holds the title of doctor is celebrating his graduation with his family, friends and colleagues.

They held an event at a fancy restaurant that Alan's father deliberately booked away the day when Alan told about his graduation schedule.

Guests who attended many of the state officials, until the atmosphere of thanksgiving looks like a party.

The guests congratulated Alan and gave various gifts. There were even some important guests who asked Alan directly to the father to make Alan their son-in-law.

The girls who come to the show are also fascinated by Alan's appearance which they think is getting handsome, as he wears a toga.

While Alan was enjoying his favorite juice, suddenly one of the guests came to him, "Hallo handsome Doctor, congratulations! What are your plans ahead?" ask Datuk Bachtiar, one of Alan's father's co-workers, reaching out to congratulate him.

Datuk Bachtiar is a Malaysian citizen. He earned the title of grandfather or honorary title awarded by Sultan/King or Yang di-Pertuan Besar. This title is equivalent to the title "Sir" in the United Kingdom.

Alan also welcomed Datuk Bachtiar's hand, smiling kindly he said, "Thank you Datuk, the plan is to take a specialist degree while working," replied Alan.

"What's so great about you, why are you interested in an obstetrician? aren't there many other specialists, such as internal medicine specialists or pediatric specialists?" ask the curious Datuk Bachtiar.

"I was interested in the formation of a fetus from just a fluid, an embryo, a clot of blood and perfectly formed into a human child. The power of God is so great that I would like to be grateful for the direct handling of their birth."

"Great! great you Dr. Alan, it's lucky the woman who will be your wife. You will surely love her more later, if every day you see and face is the difficulty of a woman when pregnant and going through the process of giving birth."

Alan only smiled at Datuk Bachtiar, he himself did not know when to marry and with whom, because until now there was not a single woman who could replace Keysha in his heart.

Although many of his college girlfriends tried to get closer and his father's co-workers often invited him to come, getting acquainted with their daughter, Alan's heart was not moved in the least. Her love remains for Keysha, though she is unsure if she has any hope of a match with the girl of her dreams.

"Yes right Datuk, my mother also has not seen Dr.'s companion since. Alan, if it's not there yet, play Doc, come to our house. It just so happened that our daughter was on a shooting holiday and just returned from Australia.

"Now we only have an adopted daughter who is not willing to manage the hospital. He was more interested in modeling. Devia Anggie is now a famous artist, she is under a long-term contract as a beauty product brand ambassador, so rarely at home" said Datuk's wife while sighing, sad.

"Yes Doc, maybe after marriage, he wants to listen to your words as a husband and quit his job" said Datuk.

"Our support has never been discussed Doc, he always avoids if we are talking about marriage" Datuk's wife said.

Alan pity to hear the curses of the couple in front of him, but he did not dare to promise because it took time to arrange his heart in order to accept women other than Keysha.

"Let's talk about Doc with Devia, tomorrow I'll call the Doctor. Hopefully the Doctor can come to our house as soon as possible to get acquainted with Devia," said Datuk again.

"Okay Datuk, let's please enjoy the dish, from earlier we chat continues, I forgot to invite you to eat," said Alan.

"Oh yeah Doc, before the meal, may I have your cell phone number?" pinta Grandpa.

"May Grandpa" replied Alan.

"It's Doc! Please enter the Doctor's number on my phone" Datuk asked as he reached out to Alan.

Alan types his personal contact number into Datuk's phone, then Alan makes a call to his own contact number. After finishing saving, Alan returned Datuk's phone.

"That's my contact number" Alan said, returning Datuk's phone.

"Again, thank you Doc" said Datuk and his wife almost simultaneously.

At the moment the old couple felt very happy, although their hope was not necessarily granted, at least Doctor Alan's willingness to come, was a breath of fresh air to realize their expectations.

Alan was willing to leave Datuk to meet friends from the campus, who had just arrived.

Alan's father and mother, who at first glance heard Datuk's conversation with her son, were delighted, and they also wanted Alan to get married.

But all decisions remain they leave it to Alan, because they do not want Alan to feel forced to live his household later.

Alan's father and mother approached Datuk and his wife who were taking food.
