Chapter 12: Geniuses in the Shenzen Empire

Zhishu turned his face away from Heng Guo's face which now looked more like a sissy.

"How long are we gonna be?"

Heng Guo smiled at Zhishu's words, he pointed towards the front, "the palace walls are already visible from here.It won't take long, we will soon reach the Imperial Palace."

Zhishu nodded happily.

"Zuo Ling, we've arrived" Zhishu said as he shook Zuo Ling's body slowly.

With eyes that still looked red, Zuo Ling said Zhishu.He got up and followed Zhishu who was being directed by Heng Guo to the main hall, where the emperor was.

"Emperor, what have you been doing all this time? Why don't you send a Cultivator or swordsman who can protect the capital.Now, my son and wife are dead because of the robbers' actions!!" shouted a man in shabby clothes, he shouted in front of the Emperor without regard for the soldier who had already pointed a sword at him.

Zhishu who had just arrived at the doorway could only be speechless to watch the old enough man being killed in the hands of the Imperial soldiers for daring to speak impolitely in front of him. Zhishu gulped down the saliva, "do I have to start calling Zuo Ling as Her Highness the current Princess?"

Seeing that, everyone within the main hall could not hide his shock.The emperor immediately rose from his throne and said, "geniuses in the Shenzen Empire have appeared."

Shortly after the Emperor said that, all the soldiers in the room repeated the emperor's words together.

"GENIUSES IN THE SHENZEN EMPIRE HAVE APPEARED!"

With cheers from the soldiers, the Emperor walked up to Zhishu, he patted Zhishu on the shoulder, "you are a precious treasure for a small Empire like ours, keep growing until the whole world submits to you."

"Thank you, Emperor!" zhishu said as he lowered his body slightly.

"No-miss Zhishu! You must bend ninety degrees!" shouted Heng Guo with a stiff face, he was afraid that the Emperor would explode with anger and would kill Zhishu as he did the old man.

"Haha! Heng Guo you're too panicked, I can't possibly kill a person blessed by the heavens and already fought to kill the Fire lion for my wife's treatment.I'm even grateful he's still willing to bow before me," said the Emperor which made Heng Guo dumbfounded.

A resolute and crazed Emperor with respect didn't seem to mind Zhishu's attitude? It should still be one of the impossible things to happen, thought Heng Guo still with his stunned face.

"Heng Guo, quickly get Master Li Shao to the Palace," said the Emperor, who was immediately executed by Heng Guo.

"Who is your name young lady?" the Emperor said as he stepped out of the main hall.

"My name is Zhishu, His Majesty the Emperor," Zhishu replied as he inserted the corpse of the Lion of Fire back into his dimension ring, then dashed to follow the Emperor who had walked a considerable distance away from where he stood, similarly the loyal Zuo Ling became the tail of Zhishu.

"What about your surname?" asked the Emperor who managed to make Zhishu's heart beat irregularly.

Zhishu seemed hesitant to answer, but finally he said, "I apologize for the Emperor's defiance, but I don't want to talk about it."

"I don't mean to offend you, I just think which family is very lucky to have such a powerful successor like you" the Emperor said without turning his head towards Zhishu.

Zuo Ling looked at Zhishu who did not respond to his father's words, although Zhishu's lips seemed to smile a little, but the look he showed was unable to close the sadness he felt.

"Sister need not be sad, I am your sister, brother can tell me," Zuo Ling said as she hugged Zhishu sincerely.

Zhishu stroked Zuo Ling's head slowly, "hahaha! Thank you Zuo Ling, but there's nothing you need to worry about."
