C3 – Kill More Zombies!

After resting for a moment, Loong Chen continued his zombie search. Death City was full of zombies, so finding them was not a challenging task.

It didn't take long before he saw more than a dozen zombies meandering along another path.

The bricks Loong Chen had taken earlier had worn out, but he found a sturdy iron rod during his journey. Iron bars proved to be more comfortable than bricks.

Within minutes, a dozen zombies had collapsed to the ground, their heads being horribly split.

“Indeed, my strength makes me different.”

Long Chen sighed. In the absence of strength, facing a zombie meant death. However, now that he had the strength, the table had changed. Zombies were nothing more than corpses walking in front of him.

“My strength and defense attributes have undergone significant improvements, while my other attributes have experienced relatively lower growth.”

Loong Chen silently did the calculations in his mind.

Among the attributes dropped by most of these zombies, strength and defense took precedence, followed by speed and dexterity, while mental attributes were the fewest. A dozen zombies only had ten mental attributes.

This is potentially related to their mental disorder.

After clearing the zombies from this path, Loong Chen intended to continue his search across the street. However, just as he took two steps, he suddenly caught some sounds.

He listened attentively and saw that the voice seemed to be coming from a shop located by the side of the road.

“Is there a zombie inside?”

Thinking of this, Loong Chen approached the store. The door is closed but not locked. He gently pushed it open.

In an instant, a stench seeped into the air. Loong Chen hurriedly covered his mouth and nose. At that moment, a cold glint flashed before his eyes.

Thanks to Loong Chen's high agility, which was two to three times faster than the average person, he quickly reacted and dodged to the side.

After dodging, he finally gained a clear view and realized that the cold glint was a knife.

The muscular zombie brandished a blade and made a slashing motion towards him.

“Zombies know how to use weapons!”

Loong Chen felt a hint of shock, but the blade had already swung towards him.

Without much time to ponder, he quickly dodged once more. Simultaneously, the iron rod in his hand swung towards the muscular zombie head.

Two balls of light fell from his body. One of them is a regular light ball, while the other has the hallmark of a knife—pola.

“Take completed! Obtained empirical value x20.”

“Take completed! Acquiring Basic Saber Technique Level 1.”

At this moment, a lot of understanding of the Saber technique flooded Loong Chen's mind. It was as if he had previously obtained knowledge on how to use the sword.

Sure enough, his Stats Window displayed an additional level in his Basic Sabre Technique skill.

“System, I want to improve my Basic Sabre Technique.”

Loong Chen cried in his mind. Now that he had the skills, he needed to make use of the empirical value.

“You have spent 100 empirical values, and your Basic Sword Technique has risen to level 2.”

“You have spent 200 empirical values, and your Basic Sword Technique has risen to level 3.”

To raise his Basic Saber Technique to level 4, he would need 400 empirical values. It was then that Loong Chen realized his empirical value was not enough.

However, his Basic Saber Technique had already reached level 3, and he could feel a deeper understanding of sword arts.

Originally, he had only studied the Saber technique for two years, but now he felt as if he had been practicing for a decade. He has made some simple progress.
