Chapter 1 - One handed prince story part 1

In a royal palace, at night, “Oeee....Oeeee...” The sound of the cry of a newborn baby filled the entire palace. A man looking like a medieval king came inside, he immediately approached the woman lying on her bed holding a baby boy wrapped in swaddling clothes. The man stroked the head of the woman who had just given birth and saw her baby,

“Thank you Melsina, how do you feel ?” Ask the man.

The woman's face looked a little confused despite smiling, she continued to hug the baby tightly. Since the woman did not reply, the man became astonished and he tried to take her baby. But the woman immediately grabbed the baby and did not let the man see her. Eventually the man became angry and forced the woman to give him the baby. Accidentally, the man pulled the swaddling cloth that wrapped the baby, so he could clearly see the baby.

“God....great goddess, what was my fault until something like this happened to my son..” Said the man while stunned.

“I'm sorry Edgar...This is why I don't want you to see her.” Melsina.

The baby carried by his mother looks healthy and funny while sleeping, only, he only has one hand. The man immediately hugged his wife and hugged the baby,

“I do not care..The name of this child Xenon von Solarice, we will raise this child to be the heir to the throne.” Said the man.

“Thank you Edgar, thank you..” Melsina wept hugging her husband king Edgar von Solarice.

Ten years passed, Xenon was 10 years old, he grew up like a normal child, although he was not allowed to come out of the east tower of the palace so that his existence was not known by the noble noble who intended to take over the kingdom. King Edgar intended to announce who his crown son was when Xenon was 12 years old when Xenon received a blessing from the god. One day, as usual, Xenon was in the reading room in the east tower because he loved to read the book there, when the book he read was up, he stood up and intended to take the book on the top shelf. Usually there is a servant (maid) who accompanies her named Valen, but Valen is called by the butler to help supervise Xenon's younger sister who is only 3 years old. It was Valen who used to pick up books for Xenon and provide small meals for him.

Xenon tried to shift the stairs to pick up the books on the top shelf. After the stairs had been moved, because of his limitations that his arm was only one, Xenon climbed the stairs slowly land, with his efforts finally he managed to reach the top shelf. However, when he took off the stairs to reach for his book, his balance faltered, Xenon fell down, his hand accidentally pulled the book he wanted to read so that the other books fell with him. Xenon slammed tightly on the floor and the thick book fell on him. Fresh blood came out of his head and Xenon was unconscious.

“Ugh....what happened....where ?” Ask Xenon in your heart.

Slowly he opened his eyes, saw a servant calling out to him,

“Xenon same....Xenon same....already aware Xenon same..forgive me.” The servant hugged Xenon who was still lying down.

“Eh...this where ? am I not dead ? ouch...my head is dizzy..” Xenon said in his heart while holding his head.

After holding his head in a bandage, he realized that he had fallen in the steel room from the stairs, but he also remembered his past life in another world. Xenon's name in his previous life was Madoroki Ayumu, an 18-year-old boy who was still in high school in Tokyo. He remembered once that during his life in another world, he was always made bully material by his friends because his hands were just next door, the reason she died was that she was forced to jump off the rooftop of her school by bullies, one of whom was the girl she liked.

“It seems, I was reincarnated in this world...but apparently my condition is the same as in his previous life yes.” He thought while looking at his hand that there was only one.

Then it came to her mind, before she was reincarnated she met a beautiful goddess in an all-white room, though she forgot her talk, but he remembered that he was not alone in reincarnating into a new world called Gaios. Next to her was a girl who sat on a wheelchair because she had no legs, after which the goddess in front of her raised her hands and she was reborn into Xenon von Solarice. Xenon turned his head and saw Valen his servant crying bitterly from feeling guilty and relieved that Xenon had regained consciousness. Xenon smiled at her, to her, Valen who seemed to be only about 16 years old was a friend of her age. Xenon got up and sat down on his bed,

“I'm fine Valen san.after all I was wrong myself, so this is not your fault.” Xenon said while holding Valen's head which was resting his head on the side of the bed.

Because his head was held by Xenon, Valen was immediately startled and looked up, he immediately jumped into Xenon's arms while crying bitterly.

“Waaaaa Xenon same.....Xenon same...waaaaaaaaa...” Her yelling.

“Braaak..” The door was opened, King Edgar entered the room, Valen moved away and the king scolded him. Seeing Valen bowing in anger while crying, Xenon got off his bed and blocked Edgar by stretching out one hand in front of Valen.

“Valen san is not wrong papa, I was wrong for taking the book and can't wait for Valen san..” Xenon said firmly.

“Eh. Valen, why did you leave Xenon alone ?” Ask Edgar.

Valen recounts that he was asked by the butler to help keep an eye on Xenon's 3-month-old sister because the empress was ill. Edgar who already understood the reason immediately carried Xenon and advised him of sorts.

“Ah...I'm actually 18 years old...but yeah, just listen, I'm grateful here I have parents..” Xenon thought in his heart.

After a lengthy exhortation, King Edgar finally came out of Xenon's room. A few days later, Xenon, who had remembered his previous life, learned a lot of new things in the reading room, which he usually only read books of stories and fairy tales, now he began to read history, legends, and stories, magic and all his other knowledge.

“Ok, as the goddess said, the name of this world is Gaios, the name of this kingdom is Solarice and I am the first prince in this kingdom Xenon said as he read his book.

The Solarice Kingdom was the oldest kingdom standing tall against the invasions of the demons. A hero from the royal family managed to defeat the demon king and managed to kill him. After learning everything, Xenon is determined to live quietly in his new world together with his family, in his old life, he has no family, no family, all this time he lived alone and relied on support from the government because he was considered a disabled person. His heart was so grateful, he was reborn in this world with a complete family. Then he began to study martial arts and magic while waiting for the age of 12 years to receive blessings from the gods.

There are 7 gods worshipped in the world of Gaios who represent all the work that exists in the world of Gaios, such as the god of knowledge, the god of agriculture, the god of crafts, the god of war, the goddess of magic, the alchemist goddess and the merchant goddess. Sometimes, there are some people who get blessings not only from one god or goddess, but from several gods or goddesses, the most recorded history is 3 blessings at once in one person. But there is also no blessing at all from the 7 gods, although the person can do any work, but he can not use certain special abilities.

As Xenon read about the blessing of the gods, Valen came into the room,

“Xenon same...Xenon sama..congratulations, now you are already a big brother again, your newborn sister, a cute little brother..” Shouted Valen.

“Wah...ayo to where mom Valen san...” Xenon stood up with a cheerful face.

But Valen immediately hugged Xenon, of course Xenon so a little confused because it arrived at the hug and saw the face of Valen who seemed to pity him.

“What's up?” Ask Xenon.

“Begini Xenon the same, you should stay here..Her majesty ordered like that..” Valen said in a trembling tone.

“What does Valen san mean, I don't understand...” Xenon Reply.

Valen stood up and looked out of the room, he closed the door and locked it, then Valen told her that the queen died while giving birth to his younger brother and the king was grieving. Hearing that, of course Xenon panicked and finally barged out of the room. Xenon continued to run inside the palace to head towards his mother's room, when until he directly opened his door. Inside he saw the king turning to the door in shock and he saw his mother lying on the bed in a closed state. Xenon ran up to his mother's bed and up, shaking her mother's body as she continued to call out. Her tears were pouring out and her screams were getting hoarse. The king who saw Xenon crying over the queen's body immediately carried her and hugged her, they then cried the three along with Xenon's younger sister who had just arrived.

A few days later, the queen's funeral was held in large numbers in the capital. Almost the entire population looked down saddened at the loss of a good and wise queen there, but some noble even smiled cynically, as if glad the queen died. After finishing burying the queen and returning to the palace, the king came out from the throne balcony above and brought Xenon's newborn sister.

“Look, this child is the crown prince of this kingdom, Terius von Solarice..” Shouting king.

Although a little surprised, but Xenon already thought this must happen, because he realized, his condition did not allow him to become the crown prince. With great heart, he accepted his father's decision. Since then, his papa has never been to the east tower, where Xenon is locked up. The only one who visited him was Valen who was with him almost every day, Xenon continued to study hard and hone his martial arts, so that one day his father would visit him, for he could not freely go out again because the east tower was now in isolation and heavily guarded. Xenon only realized that he had been kept because there was his mother.
