Something Of The Life

Something Of The Life
Darren's anger

Two adults were enjoying their coffee at a cafe. Two men who are old but still tough and dashing. Even their appearance always looks young from his age.

“It feels like a long time ago we did not enjoy time together like this,” said one of the men who wore a maroon shirt.

“Yeah, I also feel that way.” The man in the gray suit approved of her.

“Even last we met, I don't remember it.”

“Haha .. if you forget, I'll remind you last we met three weeks ago. When I dropped off my daughter on her first day at her new school.” The man sipped his coffee.

“Ah yes, I just remembered. Your daughter is a sweet and innocent girl. Unfortunately he has his destiny less good.” Rega was concerned.

“Rega, once again thank you for all your kindness to my family.”

Rega saw sincerity as well as the sentient decision in his little friend. “Jackson, you don't have to say that. I did it all because you already I consider like my brother.” Rega said it sincerely from the bottom of his heart. Rega had considered Jackson like his own brother long ago. Friendship that intertwined 40 years longer, making them know each other and understand each other like siblings.

“You have helped Amber a lot through her difficult times, even now you are still watching and looking after her.” Jackson remembered his only daughter.

“I did all because Amber my niece,” Rega replied while patting her best friend's shoulder.

“Amber is not as lucky as other children. But I'm sure he's a strong and tough kid.” A faint smile fell on Jackson's face.

“Iya I believe it!” Firm Rega.

“What Amber is having trouble in school. He never had a friend, and Keenan could not be expected.” Jackson's thoughts glared at Keenan. His son who has changed his nature since 6 years ago.

“You don't have to worry I've arranged everything,” Rega replied with a smile.

Jackson smiled with satisfaction, he trusted his best friend very much. And what his best friend has planned has never failed.

“Do you often take the time to Amber?” Tanya Rega broke the silent atmosphere.

“I often work out of town. So not much time to be at home,” Jackson explained.

“Ckk ... How about Eveline?”

“Still the same,” shrewd Jackson with a look of regret.

“Don't let you guys drag on ignoring it. What Amber needs is the role of the figure of both parents,” Rega's advice is concerned, of course, on the poor girl they discussed.

“Will I work on.” Jackson leaned his body against the chair while rubbing his face.

He could have done what Rega suggested. But he did not guarantee that his wife could do it. Eveline has a hard character and stays in his stance, just like Keenan. Unlike Reyhan and Darren who is the eldest child and second child, has a character like him.

It doesn't feel like it's late afternoon. They spent four hours talking about the Jackline family and work. Also remember their childhood. In the cafe parking lot two lovebirds were separated to return to their respective homes.

A woman was sitting on the edge of a white bed. He looked at a picture frame located on the side table of the bed. His fingers rubbed the image of a family member, where there were two adults and five children in matching clothes. Scroll by the mouth of her tears came out to wet her face. His gaze was focused on a photo of a long-haired little girl, and an expressionless flat face.

“Dinda ... mama kangen dear,” shrewd the woman who now hugs the picture frame.

Geck! Geck! Geck!

The door opened after a man knocked on it. He looked at a woman he loved very much. Without asking, he knew what was going on.

“Until when is Ma?” The man asked in a flat tone. He closed the door of the room cold by the temperature of the AC.

“Don't you miss Darren. You are twins,”, Eveline replied, staring at the back of her son, who was standing in a tightly closed glass window.

“I've never felt any bond with him. That's a long time ago, why don't you let go of everything. There are more need mama here.” Darren turned his body to look at his mother.

“Pardon mama Darren,” says Eveline weakly.

When Darren came out of his mother's room he saw her papa who had just come and pointed at him.

“Darren you just visited mommy well,” Jackson said with a distinctive smile of his.

Instead of answering, Darren ignored his papa. His mood is not good at the moment. At first, he visited his mother to talk. But when he saw his mother like that and it was something Darren hated very much, making him undo his initial intentions.

“Darren.”

The call from his papa made Darren stop his steps.

“Please feel good mama,” Jackson soft pinta.

Darren is tired of hearing his papa requests that have been said often. He snorted and looked at his face. “Darren has known mom all this time. But mom never changes.”

“Darren, mom you just need time.”

“Until when Pah? Until we lose another member of our family,” circus Darren.

“We won't lose anyone again!” Decisive Jackson.

“Amber is not wrong, but you who have wrongly treated it.” Darren left his papa with increasingly becoming emotional.

Jackson was silent about his son's treatment. What Darren said is true. It was only Darren who cared about their family. He loved his brothers very much. In fact he has a more mature nature than Reyhan, his older brother.

While Eveline stood behind the closed door, hearing all the talk of her husband and son.

The clock shows the number 15:00 pm, Angkasa High School students have just ended their activities at school. The hot sun made the disciples in the field run towards the gate and look for a shady place.

“Jonah, accompany me well take my mobile phone with Keenan,” pinta Sunny before they died class, and be the last there.

“Yes already,” replied Jonah while ruffling the contents of the bag he delivered.

“Lo find what the heck, the wealth is so serious from earlier?” Sunny asked as she watched Jonah who was walking beside her.

“You know what I am.” Jonah glanced at Sunny at a glance, the look on his face looked solemn.

“He-em.” Sunny nodded curiously as he continued to pay attention to what Jonah was doing to the contents of his bag.

“Search ... this dia” Jonah links his thumb and index finger to form the symbol love.

“Ha ha ha ..” Laughter Jonah satisfied. Even he held onto his stomach which was painful due to feeling amused by Sunny's expression.

Sunny rounded her eyes, there was a pink tinge on both of her cheeks. His hand did not stop beating Jonah. “Iss ... You're so nice.” Sunny who had been really serious waiting, was only worked by Jonah.

Actually Jonah just looking for his phone that sprained in the bag and have met. But when he saw Sunny's curious spirit, he thought about Sunny.

“Why are your cheeks red?” Jonah asked as he stood on the steps leading to the third floor.

Sunny, who was standing not far from Jonah, was surprised by what the man said. He went down a few steps to get along with Jonah.

“Ka-re-na gu-e pa-nas.” Sunny says it right in front of Jonah's face, with the sentence spelled out.

Jonah did not respond to Sunny, as his focus was on the two people at the end of the stairs. The pair of disciples went down the stairs slowly towards Jonah and Sunny, but only Jonah realized it.
