"Can you explain this to me?." Tang Lian asked as she strangled the neck of the black worm in her hands which continued to swerve and try to escape.
The little sect leader could not answer because the pain in his stomach had not subsided yet and he just continued to roll around on the floor while holding his still aching stomach.
In contrast to everyone who saw that, they wondered how could such a large worm and a sinister color exist within the body of the leader of that small sect.
Zhao Yu felt angry that the leader of the small sect had yet to answer Tang Lian's question and wanted to beat her up but was stopped by Tang Lian.

"This is a second-rate demon worm, so I'll kill him.." Tang Lian said then burned the demon worm in her hand using her red lightning to dust.
"Well now I'm going to tell you the truth, that everything that has to do with the devil I hate it so much.." Tang Lian said as she stared intently at everyone before her.
Some of the people who heard that then felt a life-depriving god was nearby because some of those people were cultivating a demon, cultivation, but even so some people were still trying to be calm and thought Tang Lian would not know.

That person thought that Tang Lian would not be able to possibly know about it because the previous city leader had died. Tang Lia had said that she hated all things related to demons, and if that person was honest that he was the one asking then her death was already confirmed.
