The sound of the shot echoed strongly in this basement followed by a brief tremor coming from Oxanna's firearms to the monster-shaped man. Right now, it was only his personal protective weapon after the sword he had previously used to fight had been split into two as a result of this monster.

Oxanna saw some people wearing white robes and safety equipment. He immediately hid behind a high table that housed chemical tools.

That person was tall and shaped like a normal human, err, unlike the monster in front who was currently concocting something with chemicals. Oxanna noticed with detail.

"What are they doing?!" Oxanna was about to let out a scream when one of the researchers picked up the finished potion and approached the glass room in the middle of the room where a monster was being tied up.

"Dam. They developed a monster virus?" Oxanna stood up and pulled the trigger. When he wanted to shoot towards the glass room, the monster that had rebelled and was injected gradually weakened and fainted. He stopped his movements and observed in silence.

"What's going on?" muttered Oxanna quietly. He waited for a while but there was no significant movement.

"Ah shit. It's up to you" he said, annoyed, then fired a bullet upwards and walked confidently close to them.

The shooting left the researchers so shocked and frightened. Especially when he saw Oxanna who walked in with a sharp gaze.

"What are you guys doing?!" emotional scattering. "Who are those monsters? What are they made of?!"

The monster that had been so aggressive with red eyes was now staring at Oxanna in confusion. His face withered and had become normal.

"They're making a virus vaccine?" muttered Oxanna was confused because the monster was different from the one she had seen earlier.

The researchers checked the viral condition of the monsters that had changed normally also took blood samples. Oxanna followed the woman who carried the blood elsewhere. More precisely, the blood analysis examination room.

Oxanna was by his side. "After this, you explain it to me!" pissed threatened.

He glanced at Oxanna briefly. "Yes, Madam."

Oxanna grunts. "Then?!"

"A few years ago, they discovered a virus at a depth of 45 km underwater. Monster viruses are immune to water and can only be destroyed if burned. During that time, we were under Mr. Aarav's protection, trying to find a vaccine. The people you killed were our patients who should have survived," the woman said staring at Oxanna flat, as her tone blamed her.

Oxanna's eyes widened. He has killed an innocent human?!

"But you are Mr. Aarav's wife. Then, you'll be free from punishment, won't you?" The woman said again and stood up. "Therefore, there must be a substitute for your punishment."

Oxanna was so confused by that. But, his curiosity was answered when he saw Jordan walking towards the researchers and previously glanced at him.

"Jordan? He wants to take me upstairs?" oxanna asked herself slowly. Just as he wanted to call the man, suddenly one of the researchers injected the drug into his neck.

Jordan reacted very strongly. His eyes were perfectly rounded and turned red but he was trying to fight a drug that seemed like a virus!

"Jordan!" oxanna shouted in surprise. When she wanted to run up to him, the research woman immediately pulled Oxanna's hand out of the laboratory.

"What are you guys doing, motherfucker?!" Oxanna shouted in anger.

The woman looked at Oxanna sharply. "We're doing a real job, madam! If you hadn't screwed up, we wouldn't have lost our experimental patients! Mr. Aarav has given authority, whoever messes up then lives in return. But, you were released because of our Master's wife. So there has to be a replacement, right?"

Oxanna's body was pushed out and the door to the lab was sealed shut. He swallowed fear.

"I have to tell Aarav" he muttered later and ran back into the elevator.

He went back into Aarav's secret room and into the room. Oxanna searched for her phone lying on the spot, barely finding if there was no incoming phone ring.

It's from Aarav!

Oxanna immediately picked it up. "Hallo?!"

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING, GODDAMN IT?" Oxanna kept the phone away from the ear as Aarav's voice boomed even from a distance.

Oxanna's body trembled for a moment. "I don't know! To be sure, Jordan was injected with the virus by the mad researcher" he said in one breath.

Oxanna did not hear Aarav's reply again in a moment. "What am I supposed to do? He changed because of me" he said.

"Leave it," Aarav replied later. When Oxanna wanted to chim in, the call was cut off unilaterally.

Does this mean Aarav is throwing Jordan away?
