Early Worries

In the morning, Dhandeli was tidy and ready to work, sitting at the dinner table ready to eat breakfast with Samuel and Arthem.

"Not as usual..." Sam mutters.

"There is a wind from the east, so the sun rises first." Arthem answered Sam's murmur with a deep parable.

"I'm done, let's go Art." Dhandeli grabbed his backpack and left the house first, followed by Arthem later.

During the trip Dhandeli just fell silent without a word, making Arthem confused.

"What's wrong?" Arthem asked in a very soft tone, as seen from the look of Dhandeli's face that was like it would explode when touched.

"What?" Dhandeli was only indifferent, not even turning his head towards Arthem at all.

"Your attitude is so rare, your residence is so horrible, miss, do you know?" Arthem slightly shuddered in horror at Dhan's gaze as he turned his head.

"I'm just upset and holding a grudge against someone who left without a message." Arthem swallowed his saliva hanging in the esophagus, he knew what Dhandeli meant was him.

"The matter is out of the question, because of the sudden work that comes at the right time." Arthem flaunted his row of teeth sillyly trying to make the lady smile, but the result was nil.

"It has nothing to do with the news." Dhandeli was still cold and continued his residence throughout the journey until arriving at the office.

"Where will you have lunch?" Arthem tries to persuade Dhan by having lunch together and with the menu that Dhandeli wants.

"No thanks, I have an appointment." Dhan responded to Arthem's offer with a faint tone.

"Gosh, he's really mad." Arthem drove his car out of the lobby area of PT GE's office.

Nina was busy with her report when Dhandeli came and she was not aware of his arrival.

"Sister, have you come so early?" Dhandeli felt bad for Nina, because she came early.

"There was an emergency today, somehow the son of the company owner wanted to come check some files, but he just came home from abroad." Nina tidied up the files she had obtained and arranged them on the table, swiftly and without Dhandeli's instructions petrified Nina.

The meeting was started only for the support, production, and procurement division. All the divisions that were asked to attend the meeting were already gathered in the room with a large oval meeting table.

"Good morning everyone, I am Yunan Sein, as the chairman of the board of directors of PT SEIN group headquarters, today want to listen to what you have done to make the product number one." Dhandeli was flabbergasted when he saw who had entered and then sat in the chair of the meeting.

The meeting was completed quite slowly because there were so many directions given by Yunan for each division. Until almost two hours passed, so many directions and policies that Yunan gave to the production division that Dhandeli's notes filled two pages of A5 paper.

"Gosh, my hands are so sore." Dhandeli complained in a soft voice.

"Is that all you've been complaining about?" Yunan's voice was so heard behind Dhan's ears, the sneering tone he used really made Dhandeli want to beat him up.

"Why would an heir to a large company work for a small company like GE? is there another motive?" Yunan uses a thick suspicious tone to make Dhandeli who was just silent and was about to continue walking back to his room stop and turn his body.

"For what? if your question is only 'for what', of course, making money from your own sweat without any shadow of the wealth of the parents, because enjoying the old man's possessions is very unsatisfactory." Dhandeli uses cold and challenging mimic.

"Well, that's amazing, your words are amazing." Yunan was about to step closer to Dhandeli but the sound of a call from behind them made the two turn their heads.

"Dhan, can we go out for a second?" The voice was Yara.

After hearing news from Nina that Yunan suddenly held a meeting at GE, the, Yara immediately turned her car around which was almost to the destination where she and her colleagues at the agency would hold a monthly review meeting.

"It's working hours, employees can't just go in and out of the company." Yunan tightened her molar while looking at the two women.

"Well, you win and I give up." Yunan turned her body and hurried away leaving the two women.

"Dhan, we need to talk, come with me." Without a word Dhandeli follows Yara who walks ahead of him.

Yara and Dhandeli use Yara's car to go to a quiet cafe.

"Sir." Jimmy, the assistant, saluted the emotional Yunan in a special guest room at PT GE.

"Don't give me any bad news." Yunan looks to be suppressing his emotions that will overflow.

"But, this... Great Lord Sein wants to talk to you." Jimmy braves trying to tell him that Mr. Sein contacted him.

"What's wrong?" Yunan looked at Jimmy impatiently.

"She's asking to be connected to you by phone soon." Jimmy turned his gaze toward Yunan on the phone on the office desk.

A minute later, the phone rang impatiently. Yunan answered the phone reluctantly, but inevitably she had to answer the phone of her adoptive father.

"Dad." Yunan greeted with a flat voice.

"You're violating my authority! how big is your guts really?" Mr. Sein's voice until heard out even without loud speakers makes Yunan keep the phone handle from his ear.

"I'm waiting for you at headquarters, now!" The phone connection was instantly cut off without Yunan being able to answer a word.

"Jimmy, keep an eye on Yara and Draga's movements, I'm going to headquarter." Yunan rushed towards the parking lot, leaving GE's office.

In a very feminine cafe, Yara and Dhandeli sit down to eat macarons and ice cream that they have ordered when they arrive.

"Dhan, from today on you must be careful and do not believe anything Yunan says, beware from now on." Yara looked at Dhandeli with a serious expression that could not be denied.

"What's wrong with Yunan, brother?" Dhandeli tried to find out.

"He tried to harm Draga, and maybe you'll be his target too." Yara still looked at Dhandeli straight with a serious look.

"Jeez, then how's Draga? if I'm not worried, because I'm always watching Arthem." Dhandeli amidst the shock that had struck him, he was still thinking about Draga.

"Sports, I'll guarantee her safety with my life, you don't have to worry." Yara breathed a rough breath, she was really frustrated by the problems that would come her way.

"Sorry, I want to ask you something." Dhandeli read Yara's expression, and when he found that Yara did not mind, he continued his words.

"Yunan, brother and Draga, aren't you family? but why is there such a lot of opposition between you guys?" Dhandeli asked seriously and looked straight into Yara's eyes.

"There are things you should never know about us, and there are many more mysteries you should avoid, don't try to find out, because the stakes are your life." Yara gives Dhandeli a warning not to be too and even has to stay away from this problem.
