...Happy Reading's....
"But sir we don't have the money to pay off the contract extension yet. Please give us some time. Soon we will contact your father. Please don't drive us out of this house. Pity the children want to live where?" pinta a 17-year-old girl begs the man of more than half a century who stands haughty in front of her, his name is Giandra.
"It's none of my business, it's yours. Now pack your things and get out of this house!" jolt the man haughtily, a sharp glare.
"Don't be like this sir, give us a few more days. Poor kid!" added a woman who is the mother of the home, he begged to hope for mercy in this man who does not have compassion and feelings.
"I've given you three days, and that's more than enough. After all yes, if you feel you still want to contract this house you should have prepared the cost of the next contract extension from far away." recounted the man without mercy.
"We know that, sir, but there are trials approaching us. Two of my sisters are sick and must be treated in hospital. It costs not a little. In addition, donors who used to provide assistance to this home have stopped assistance because their business went bankrupt and the other donor died. We are trying to find a new donor" said Giandra. The girl had even cried while begging incessantly.
"Alaa, not much of a reason. Anyway, I don't want to hear any reason. I give you 20 minutes to pack up and leave. Otherwise, my men will drag you down with violence!"
"You guys, get the stuff out of my house! Empty this house as soon as possible because someone will occupy it." the man orders four of his men standing behind him.
The big man with the rogue face obeyed his boss' orders. They took out the guest chair and table and threw it out. Fan and others. A short table where children learn iqro and Quran is also thrown out. Children are frightened to see their anarchist actions.
"Don't be like this sir!" Gia sobbed slightly, she immediately knelt down as she pleaded with two hands folded in front of her chest. The hard-earned goods provided for children's learning facilities were destroyed.
"Pity us, at least pity the poor boy!" Rima joined the plea by fusing it into two hands on the chest. He dropped his body next to Gia, joining in. But the man did not care about their plea, as if he had no heart.
"Don't throw it like it's our stuff!" pekik a bigger boy saw a Quran recal, a study table and a whiteboard thrown out. He pushed strongly one of the old man's men. But then his body in a strong hempas to fall to the floor. The boy grimaced feeling his body ache hitting the floor."Baim __!" pekik Giandra and Rima together.
"Sir Baim," another child choked and rushed toward Baim who fell to the floor. They helped Baim stand up.
"Hey guys, don't just cry. Quickly pack your clothes before we forcefully throw them outside." cried the old man to the children who were crying in fear.
Gia and Rima had nothing else to do to persuade the owner of this house. People have no heart and no feelings. They were very sad and heartbroken to see that some of the goods had been in the courtyard of the parlour, broken like a broken ship.
"Where are we going, sir?" lirih Giandra's.
"That's none of my business." the old man smiled cynically unconcerned."Unless you want to fulfill my offer, Giandra! Agree with my wish to marry Bima." this time her smile was here.
"No, it'll never happen! Giandra will never follow your will! No matter what happens, she won't marry your drunk and son of a bitch. We better sleep on the streets." rima jolted, she immediately hugged Giandra, protecting.
The old man is getting angry."Drag them all out of this house!"
"STOP IT!" a loud sound came from outside. Then came a woman in luxurious and elegant clothes. Beautiful face, red lips blush, black eyes glazed, holding a peach-colored fan. Beside him was his assistant and behind him were some burly men.
The four old men stopped the demolition. Everyone in the room looked at the woman. Including Rima and Giandra.
The woman smiled cynically half. He took off his glasses, then looked at Giandra.
Giandra and Rima for a while stared at this woman, but the longer in the face made both of them remember someone in the past. The next second both of them were wide open, their mouths open. The two did not look at the woman. Especially Giandra. Pleasure and sadness mixed into one enveloping his heart for a moment. Although 12 years had passed, he would not forget this woman.
"Mama!" lirih Giandra with a feeling of sadness. Slowly she stood up unblinkingly staring at the woman she had just called 'Mama'.
He walked quickly towards the 'Mama' wanting to hug spilling a yearning. The woman who had abandoned herself as a child, also left her brother 12 years ago. Women who have cheated and left their fathers for another man. Women who have changed their previously complete lives are happy to be separated and suffering, women who give grief and tears. Women who make them live in distress and suffering. The woman who made her father and sister die.
Gia hates this woman so much, but longing overcomes hatred. After all this woman named Regina was her mother, who had conceived and given birth to her and Jiandra(her sister).
"Mama___!" the crying of Giandra broke. He ran with both hands outstretched forward wanting to hug. But not yet had time to two hands that touched his mother's shirt, "Stop!" regina said while pressing Giandra's body with a fan to not go forward again.
"You can dirty my clothes!" he said casually, a snobbish tone. Because Giandra's clothes look shabby and dirty.
Giandra was astonished to hear those words, as was Rima. His steps stopped for a moment. Slowly both hands were lowered along with the look of his happy face disappeared. She was ashamed of the rejection. But the shame was nothing compared to the words Regina said that made her sad and hurt. Regina again rejected it, no matter, did not need it, ignored it just as it used to be. Regina has not changed.
Giandra's tightly clenched hand held back anger and heartache. His hatred evaporated again and it deepened even more in this heartless woman. He was so sorry to have cultivated that longing. Both of his eyes were heating up with tears that were about to spill.
She mistakenly guessed, she thought Regina had come here because of looking for her, missing her and coming back to want to live together.
Seriate.
