Last Day at the Hospital

The arrival of Kania to visit me only caused heartache. Already know I'm sick, they even fun to chat together. I was just a spectator lying on a hospital bed, Tiara murmured in her heart.

Tiara hardened the TV voice to satirize Kevin and Kania who were engrossed in chatting. Kevin looked at Tiara as if he understood that his wife was angry.

Tok.... Assalamualaikum says.

"Waalaikum... Login".

"Oh Mr. Bayu please sit down" said Kevin.

Tiara smiled, muttering in her heart. Finally her husband came. That's how you keep your wife from disturbing people's husbands.

Mr. Bayu brought a lot of food and fruit. After a long chat Mr. Bayu took Mas Kevin and Kania out for a while.

"Ra, I just stayed for a while to the cafeteria is okay, right?" said Mas Kevin.

"Dad, long time is fine" replied Tiara.

Actually Kevin knows that Tiara does not like his departure but Kevin decides to keep going so that all the problems are resolved soon.

Tiara tried to close her eyes for a moment. Sometimes he opened his eyes and took a deep breath. Tiara could not sleep thinking about her husband who had just come out.

The sound of knocking on the door startled Tiara's daydream. She hoped it was her husband coming.

"Excuse me Ms. Tiara, want to check the infusion and give medicine" said a hospital nurse.

"Dad, please. Tumben was alone", asked Tiara.

"Yah Mbak, but soon there is a doctor who checks again the state of Mbak Tiara".

Jesus, it must be Mas Alvin who examined me, Tiara murmured.

And sure enough, after a while Doctor Alvin came to check on me.

"Where is Ra, okay?" said Doctor Alvin.

"Alhamdulillah is Doc. Tomorrow morning I want to go home", replied Tiara.

"Lo says go home, it's good here so I take care. You are alone Ra. Where's your husband?".

"With a minute, I'm going home tomorrow anyway. You don't have to hold Doc, I'm cured".

"Yeah-yes Ra. I'll keep Ra, until they get back".

Doctor Alvin pulled up the chair near the couch.

"No Doc, send me back too. You didn't check on the other patients".

"It's over Ra, you're the last patient".

"Ra this hospital is in need of doctor Lo, do you want to work here again or my clinic that I just opened".

"No thanks Doc, I also work at the clinic closer to home. If I work here, it will add new problems".

"No Ra, my wife is now opening a clinic in Bandung. Maybe someday I'll move there too. If you want, I'll promote it".

"No Doc, thank you".

"You're the reason Ra, he seems so scared of me".

"It's usually Doc, you're the one who's overreacting".

Our conversation stopped when Kevin came back to my room. Kevin smiled at Doctor Alvin. He doesn't know if Dr. Alvin used to like me. Doctor Alvin said goodbye because of the arrival of Mas Kevin.

"Ra, it looks like you were very familiar with the doctor just now" said Kevin.

"Dad, I used to be an intern at this hospital".

"Oh".

"It's finished his business Mas, the same ex" said Tiara ketus

"That's Ra, don't start".

"I'm just wondering why you're hiring".

Tiara turned her face away, and tried to close her eyes.

Basic husband nyebelin, just want to wait until old me, now can even deket same people who used to want to be betrothed to him, muttered Tiara.

After Tiara fell asleep, Kevin decided to buy coffee at the warkop beside the hospital. Kevin walked so fast as not to get caught by Tiara.

Shortly after Kevin left Tiara woke up to pee. He walked to the bathroom alone. In the bathroom he heard a message coming in from Kevin's phone.

After finishing from the bathroom Tiara who knew that Kevin had not returned, she immediately checked the incoming messages. It turned out to be a message from Kania, who thanked and prayed for Tiara's recovery.

I don't know what Mas Kevin has done until Kania says thank you Tiara murmured.

Tiara immediately laid down her body on the mattress and began to pretend to sleep. She was afraid that her husband would return soon.

Meanwhile after wrapping a coffee, Kevin immediately rushed back to the room.

Ah..... Lucky it turns out Tiara hasn't woken up, Kevin muttered.

The next morning before going to work. Tiara asks Kevin to release the infusion in her hand. Tiara felt well and wanted to go home soon.

But Kevin refused because he was waiting for the doctor's decision.

"Come on Mas, call the nurse to take this off or I'll take it off myself" Tiara said.

"It's Ra, wait for the doctor first. Seven o'clock has arrived. Oh yeah later Mama comes around eight o'clock well Ra, because later tonight there is an event at Nindi's house".

"No need, you said Mama don't come here. Today I'm going home".

"Lo you're really Ra. Wait for the doctor's decision".

"I'm also a doctor. Well, Doctor Alvin's my friend, he'd agree if I came home. It's there you go to work".

"But later if you go home today, you call me Well".

"No, I'll just go home in a taxi myself".

"Don't that be a darling".

"There you go to work, I can take care of everything myself".

After a long debate, Kevin finally left for work and entrusted Tiara to one of the nurses at the hospital.

Shortly after Kevin's departure. Tiara tried to release the infusion stuck in her hand.

Ahhhhhhhhh, it hurts so much, but usually I am the one who injects people, it turns out that it hurts too, Tiara murmured in her heart.

Shortly after Tiara managed to release the infusion, Doctor Alvin came in and brought Tiara's favorite fresh fruit and brownies.

"Good morning Ra, this is for you to heal quickly" said Kevin

"Thank you Doc" replied Tiara.

"The info is already released, who let Ra go. How can you wait for me?".

"I'm myself Doc, wait a long time for you. Yes, I have just left alone. I am also a doctor".

Kevin smiled and shook his head.

"North.... Tiara's..... You're married but still like a child, so keep in mind the hours when we were young. But that's what made me like you" said Dr. Alvin.

"Let's go, I don't care. Let's let me go home Doc".

"Daddy Ra, today you can go home".

"Thank you, Doc, you're back, Doc. I want to get ready to go home".

Tiara immediately prepared to go home. Tiara called Mama Aisyah and explained to her not to go to the hospital.

Tiara asked the hospital nurse to help her with the hospital fees through the transfer.

After everything went wrong Tiara asked the hospital nurse again to push her wheelchair towards the hospital lobby.

Doctor Alvin, who knew Tiara had come home alone, followed Tiara into the hospital lobby.

"Ra, did I drive you home?" said Doctor Alvin.

"No need Doc, thank you. I booked a taxi online" Tiara replied.

Before long the online taxi arrived, Tiara immediately got into the taxi. Tiara smiled at Doctor Alvin.

"Be careful" said Doctor Alvin, waving his hand.

Ha......? Did I not mishear just now, Tiara muttered with a wry smile to Doctor Alvin.
