Xiao Jing sneered, "You set him up and made his family turn away from him. How did he get back to his parents? Xiao Jinning, if you don't want Liu Chengyu to know your true identity, don't want her to know that you are not actually the daughter of the Xiao Family and don't want her to know that you have lied to her, then you better hide. Xiao Jinning shouted hysterically, "How can you guys treat me like this?"

Finally after venting hatred in his heart, Xiao Jinning felt his head completely empty. She was wearing a black dress and her hair was styled, so she still looked fine. Liu Chengyu had been hiding behind a pillar ever since Xiao Jinning ran out to chase after Xiao Jing and Xiao Sa. Xiao Jinning was in no mood to choose clothes for her. Hearing his question, he nodded with a forced smile and replied, "It looks good. Choose just one."

Suddenly realizing that someone was staring at him, Xiao Jinning looked at Liu Chengyu, and the latter smiled at him gently. Xiao Jinning lowered her head again and continued to tell herself that it was only her delusion. How could Chengyu smile at her like that? Chengyu always loved her.

After the hairdresser finished styling Liu Chengyu's hair, he got up and went to Xiao Jinning. The latter saw his feet stop in front of him, and then he looked at him. Liu Chengyu stretched out his hand to pull him over and asked gently, "Did they scold you?"

Xiao Jinning smiled and shook her head pitifully as she replied, "Their tone of voice is a bit harsh, but it's okay. I can bear it."

Liu Chengyu nodded, "Then don't talk to them again. After all, you have me now. You don't have to care about them."

The warmth flowed within Xiao Jinning. He wrapped his arms around Liu Chengyu and said softly, "Chengyu, you're very kind to me."

Liu Chengyu patted Xiao Jinning on the shoulder, saying gently, "You are my fiancee. Of course I'll be good to you."

The smile on Xiao Jinning's face froze and she hugged Liu Chengyu even tighter. Seeing his reaction, Liu Chengyu raised his eyebrows and did not speak. After a while, Liu Chengyu said in a low voice, "The banquet is about to begin. People might be waiting for me there. Let's go."

Xiao Jinning shook her head, still hugging Liu Chengyu. Liu Chengyu slightly frowned. When he was about to push her, he suddenly asked, "Chengyu, are you so good to me just because I'm your fiancee?"

Liu Chengyu frowned. Does he like this girl? He doesn't know. Ever since she was a child, her parents had told her that she was the Miss of the Xiao Family and her fiancee, that she should be kind to her and they should love each other and take care of each other after they got married. He had done so well and even become a good man in the eyes of many; however, when the girl appeared before him, he found that he could not control himself. She had a fiancee, yet her eyes would involuntarily be fixed on the girl.

So even though he had tried his best to defend Xiao Jinning at his school, his eyes could not help but follow the girl.

But now that he knew the truth, he was his real fiancee, and the person standing beside him had stopped them from being together.

Thinking of this, Liu Chengyu smiled and wrapped his arms around Xiao Jinning's waist. His eyes turned soft and he whispered, "What are you talking about? Even though you are my fiancee, I wouldn't be with you if I didn't love you!"

Xiao Jinning finally heard the answer she wanted to hear. He lifted his head and kissed Liu Chengyu's face, saying, "I know you love me the most."

Liu Chengyu chuckled and took her out of the salon as he asked, "Fool girl, can we go to the banquet now?"
