Strongest Swordsman System

Strongest Swordsman System
Destiny Pick up

“I WILL BE A SWORDSMAN!”

Xiao Liu darted quickly among the villagers.

“Oh Xiao Liu?” said the old man who relaxes in the front seat of the house.

“Don't mind him,” timpal other parents who swept the page. “He's a pesky carrier.”

True, not only the little children did not like Xiao Liu, but the villagers as well.

Since the last five years since Xiao Liu's presence, crops have failed and clean water has been difficult to find.

Zhangkung Village was a small village full of abundant natural resources. Even wandering warriors would often stop by here. But this time no one ever came again, except for a few warriors who lived dedicated their time teaching various disciplines in order to give birth to new warriors.

Ever since Elder An took care of the child, all these difficulties began to occur.

Elder An had always said what happened this had nothing to do with Xiao Liu. Not always nature makes problems for humans, there are only humans themselves who are looking for problems with nature.

It was not the first time the citizens had asked Liu to be expelled so that things would return to their normal state, but Elder An did not heed him and continued to treat Liu like his own son.

Little Liu knew about this. It wasn't the first time, but Grandpa An always protected her at the right time.  The old man was sometimes silly, but Liu loved him and wanted to return the favor by becoming the strongest swordsman.  That way he can get the recognition of people and boast of Grandpa An.

'Bodo is what people say! I could be a swordsman!' The child's determination was filled up again.

‘If grandfather won't train me, I can do it myself!’

Little Liu gasped for breath, he arrived at a desolate meadow that was quite far from the village. This was a fitting place to gather inner strength, while the other children were training in the village with their teachers. It was in vain that Liu was there, he was not accepted at all.

Now he's alone, there's no bully boy, no one shepherding animals. No distractions at all! Isn't this good?!

“See cake! I can be a swordsman!” Liu was very worried about his grandfather's attitude that prevented him. Time to prove it!

‘What should I do huh?’ Liu was a little confused, he recalled the training stages to become a swordsman.

‘I should have just brought the book... ah, but it must be hidden grandfather...’.

The Basic Book of Swordsman became a reference exercise. Only warriors and former warriors had it. They will explain it to the candidate. No matter the basic training though, there should still be a warrior or a knowledgeable person watching.

Liu immediately cross-legged under the grass, closing his eyes, feeling every air blowing in the morning by noon.

“Hmmpp…. Huuuuhhh Liu took a deep breath, preparing to begin his training.

“Lotus Position.” Liu started his meditation.

‘No problem yourself... no problem...’.

Inner Liu was playing around, whereas he should have emptied everything. Xiao Liu remembered the swordsman in the village who rejected him and the complacent gazes of his friends, kept on being imagined and instead stuck in his head.

‘Kon... sen... trasi...’ Liu shook slowly, just now that he was silent for a while it felt really heavy.

“HAH!” Liu opened his eyes, his body flooded with sweat. Controlling the mind is not as easy as he thinks.

“Ah interrupt only.” Liu opened the white bandage that was on him, and at once he felt a pain on his forehead.

The wounds that hurt yesterday are reduced. Grandpa An magical bandage can also relieve pain like this. And yes, the wound on Liu's forehead had dried up, but from the moment he returned home it was still wet and painful. Without Liu realizing, Grandpa An gave a special oil spread on the bandage that could relieve pain and speed up the healing process.

Liu sat down cross-legged again, emptying his mind, his one goal being to open up the self-limits, gathering Qi energy.

Evening arrived, Grandpa An was still chatting while enjoying tea and reading books.

“Hm.”

Grandpa An closed his book and looked towards the wall clock.

“After midnight, did Liu stay at his friend's house?”

Grandpa An thought Liu would come home quickly and realized that he did not need to be a swordsman. But until now there was still no sign of Liu coming.

Without a second thought Grandpa An immediately finished his drink and put down his book, going outside looking for Xiao Liu.

Grandpa An walked slowly while looking around, there was not much he could see other than the house lights and stars scattered in the sky.

“Tua An.” There was a voice of a man from behind, Grandpa An did not notice it.

He slowly turned around to see who greeted him.

“Ah, Fang Yuan.”

A narrow-eyed young man in an all-black suit stood looking at him intently.

Fang Yuan, a swordsman from this village also who teaches children, he has not lived here for long. His martial discipline and techniques need not be doubted, Even Grandpa An himself acknowledged it and appreciated his willingness to help teach the children. His attitude was friendly and polite, always wearing white swordsman clothes, and his face was soothing to the eye, his narrow eyes exuding a mysterious aura that was obvious.

But it was all different from what he saw now.

“Two no late night affairs like this?” Fang Yuan sounded curious. It was not usual for him to see the village elder crawling in the middle of the night.

“Ah, I'm looking for Liu, you saw it not?”

“ Xaio Liu?” Fang Yuan tilted his head. “Maybe he's in the meadow.”

Shh….

Instantly, a strong wind hit them both. Grandpa An smiled slightly.

“Ah so yes, thank you for your help.” Grandpa An did not move from his place.

The young swordsman's guess could have been true, Liu is a man who likes to be alone when there are problems. The quiet meadow is the perfect place to vent what it feels like.

“Yuan, I'm not young anymore. But you can't fool me.” Grandpa An turned his friendly smile into a sharp look in the eyes.

“Heee...” Fang Yuan smirked.

Hush!

At once there was also a thick smoke and he suddenly carried the unconscious Xiao Liu, but the sling escaped.

Buagha.

Liu's face smelled the ground smoothly, fortunately he was not conscious.

“Great! Elder An is not an ordinary swordsman!” Fang Yuan was satisfied to see what he was hiding exposed like this.

“Easy, you are too conspicuous to hide my son.”

Grandfather An already felt the presence of evil air from Fang Yuan, and also the weak energy Xiao Liu felt towards him.

“...” Fang Yuan stared intently ahead, while his strength grew.

“Oh sorry Elder An, I accidentally saw him practicing in the meadow.”

“You didn't really lie either.” Grandpa An smiled.

“Hehe.” Fang Yuan scratched his non-itchy head.

If the trick worked, then when else could it outwit a great swordsman like Elder An? Fang Yuan was proud.

“Why dress like that?” Grandpa An was curious.

“Bored Elders,” replied the young man briefly.

“Hm, I can understand.” Grandpa An nodded. He thought there was something more serious considering the black suit clothes usually worn by the Heretical Sect Swordsman.

Grandpa An was silent for a moment, he saw his son so limp helplessly. “She's already big.”

“But he's still five years.”

“I know.” Grandpa An looked at Liu deeply.

“I guess he'll self-conscious.” Grandpa An thought letting Liu free would open up the child's mind.

“She's still five years.”

“I'm not senile, don't have to be repeated.” Grandpa An approached and held Liu who was on the ground.

“Yuan, why do you care about him?” Grandpa An knew very well the villagers thought of Liu how.

Fang Yuan was silent for a moment, while his face was solemn. “Tua An if left unchecked, Liu could die.”

Fang Yuan was a talented newcomer warrior in Zhangkung Village, he mastered various swordsman techniques and even gave first aid to Liu.

“She trained herself to open the Qi line all day, lying in the field while I was walking outside the village.”

“Ah, so that's why you hid it?” Grandpa An understands now.

“True Elder, even though it was late at night, there could have been villagers who saw Liu and disturbed him.”

“Yuan..” Grandpa An looked touched, only this time he realized there were other people who cared about Liu besides himself.

“Thank you very much.”

Grandpa An immediately carried Liu home. I can't wait to make the tea warm again.

After reaching the house Grandpa An immediately laid Liu in his room, changed his clothes and immediately made a medicinal herb.

Liu was unconscious, his face was pale and his body looked even thinner.

Finished making the medicinal herbs, Grandpa An immediately drank them to Liu.

A moment later Xiao Liu's expression changed.

“HA... CHIII!” He sneezed brutally right away.

“HAH!” Liu opened his eyes, he looked at Grandpa An with a pitiful look.

“Grandpa!? Why am I here?” Liu looked at the surroundings, clearly he was in his own room!

“Master Yuan saved you Liu.”

“Yuan? You mean the new grandpa came? Fang Yuan?”

“Son, please politely call someone older than you.”

“Oh. Sorry cake. She is indeed good Cake.”

The day before Liu was bullied by another child, only Fang Yuan accompanied him to the training, even if it was only a few hours.

Yuan stopped training him because he saw that Liu was not talented as a Swordsman. That's why he asked Grandpa to teach him as a last resort, but didn't want to either.

“I want to practice again Cake.” Liu revealed his blanket was about to stand up, but Grandpa An swiftly blocked it.

“Liu. You can't be a swordsman.”

Like a bolt of lightning at night, Liu was silent to hear that.

“Kakek joking ‘kan?” Liu looked at his grandfather, his gaze blank.

“Grandfather please so, but this is serious.” Grandpa An slowly said it in hopes that Liu immediately understood.

Liu does not detect lies from Grandpa An, whereas he wishes he said ‘but lies’.

Liu looked at his own two hands, getting thinner and even having his bones visible.

Though he had tried hard to gather Qi, but instead of making his body improve instead of the opposite.

Energy Qi could restore the condition of the body, but Liu had yet to see results. Was lying?

Grandpa An fell silent, he wanted to explain a lot about the cause of Liu being like this, but he did not want to burden Liu's mind, he was still a child.

While walking in the forest near Zhangkung Village, Grandpa An found a baby crying loudly. He immediately looked for her because it was night and it was raining.

Grandpa An found a baby boy covered in a baby basket of woven bamboo, he cried so hard that he could beat the sound of heavy rain.

Grandpa An hastened to take the baby to a nearby village, he who used to travel to various places decided to stay and take care of the abandoned baby boy.

Because the old man who threw it away only left a note of ‘His name, Xiao Liu. For the sake of the gods, whoever finds it please take care of this child.’

Grandfather An was speechless, as a sky-level swordsman it was impossible to let the life of this child drift amidst the chaos that was unfolding.

But unfortunately Grandpa An had to be surprised by the skull mark that suddenly appeared on the palm of baby Liu.  Which means one thing, Liu was struck by a curse, which was no ordinary curse.

The curse of ‘Lugu’ or the curse of the skull is a type of sky level curse.

An's grandfather studied what happened to Liu while taking care of him, not forgetting that he contributed to the village with his knowledge.

Teaching martial disciplines, teaching various techniques that ease life. As the citizens and other warriors were aware of Grandpa An's abilities, they raised him to be the village elder.

Even in the next few days it will not get easier. Many pests are gnawing on rice fields, storms that sometimes appear suddenly, and again drought that hit.

All that makes the popularity of this beautiful and comfortable Zhangkung Village decline, and not a few residents and warriors who move. Some who survive are the elders of other villages and children who learn the art of warriors.

It is undeniable that what the villagers say is true. All of this happened due to the curse of Xiao Liu's skull.

A sky-level curse like this is rarely encountered, even Swordsman An himself has only met him for his entire life. This curse did not come from humans, the energy emitted made nature wrath and changed people's view of Liu.

“I'm too old to uncover it,” murmured Grandpa An slowly.

“Hah?”

“Don't be discouraged so cake, everyone must be old.” Liu gently held Grandpa An's hand.

“It's not me who should entertain you? Ah come.” Grandpa An was touched his son could understand his thoughts.

“Kek, why do your artificial tattoos often appear?” Liu looked at his hand in wonder, for some reason this sign often appeared, but each noticed, quite cool as well.

“WADUH!” Grandpa An's eyes opened wide, and Liu closed his eyes and fell into the bed.

“LIU!” Grandpa An immediately checked his pulse.

“No!” Grandpa An's facial features changed drastically, he immediately recited a number of recovery techniques, and the entire room became bright green.

“...” After all sorts of experiments, Liu did not wake up at all.

“He.. Hey Liu... wake up son...” Grandpa An held onto Liu's increasingly pale face.

“Ka-you're kidding aren't you...?” Grandfather An knew Liu was a strong boy, he might learn the breathing cessation technique and would soon wake up and laugh.

But Grandpa An knew this wasn't April.

The skull curse mark turned blood red. That's where Grandpa An knows he's been…. Be late.

“XIAO LIUUUUU!!”

“AAHAAAA! WAKE SON! BANGUUUN!!” An, a sky-level swordsman, was sobbing all night.
