11| Healing Austin

That afternoon Natasha was busy with many reports coming in. He stared at the pile of papers while occasionally muttering.

     "Oh, the complaints are endless. When will I sit here?" he looked at the paper.

     "Lucas, hurry up and get big so that this heavy burden is your responsibility."

     "He's ten years old. It's still a long time for him to grow up to be a grown man, agh sucks!"

While he was busy babbling, he suddenly remembered about honey. I don't know why his mind ran there.

     "Wait first. Didn't auntie ever heal burn scars on Andre using honey and turmeric? What if Austin can heal with honey and turmeric as well?"

Natasha started thinking hard. In the next instant he started calling Azalea and one bodyguard.

     "We're the ones starting the queen!" answer the two in unison.

     "Azalea, please find me with turmeric. Eum, he grows on the ground with an orange yellow color. Ah, just look for the tree. Or find an Indian merchant and try asking them. You have to if you don't, you can't go home!" natasha said absolutely, while Azalea just nodded and disappeared.

After the departure of the bodyguard, Natasha can't wait if Austin's face can become as it was. He knew that his heart had been led to like the man. Even so, Natasha still knew the limits.

Natasha seems to be crying.

After a long journey, they arrived at the empire. Soon the empress and Austin came to greet them. Hearing that Natasha could heal the burn scars made the empress very happy.

Natasha and Lucas got off the train, then immediately saluted.

      "Greetings dear empress, prince!" say the two in unison.

      "Let's go in, you must be tired of sitting that long in the horse-drawn carriage. We'll talk inside!"

The four of them immediately walked in, while Natasha and Lucas' personal servants began to follow the empress' maid to her master's room.

Now in one room, Natasha also brought out a bottle of honey and a bag of turmeric.

     "Prince, this mixture of honey and turmeric is able to remove burn scars up to eighty percent. Wait here!"

Natasha was busy in the kitchen. Some servants would only move once he told them to. After quite a while, he asked them to bring a mixture of both materials, also carrying water and a clean cloth.

They arrived and the queen was impatient. Natasha asks Austin to sit next to her, then starts removing the man's mask making Austin really pound.

The soft hand began to touch Austin's cheek and apply evenly on his burn scars. When he finished, he began washing his hands.

     "Stop it for ten to fifteen minutes."

Finally fifteen minutes passed, Natasha began to wet the cloth with clean water and wipe the honey and turmeric marks.

     "The prince can do it himself, after which see the results a week later. Hopefully with this the prince's face will return to how it was and the prince can get a partner!"

Hearing the words of the couple, Austin's countenance suddenly changed. This change was immediately understood by the empress.

      "Natasha, can we talk alone?"

Seeing that Natasha just nodded in agreement. Austin is currently playing with Lucas, while the two women are talking seriously.

      "Natasha, do you like my son Austin?"

That question made Natasha instantly shocked. He stares and tries to find an excuse.

     "Where is the empress. I am quite self-conscious about my position. The prince can certainly get more girls than me!"

The empress smiled, knowing that Natasha was afraid of rejection.

       "What if Austin likes you too?"

       "After meeting you that day, Austin looked happier than ever. He even openly shows interest in you in front of everyone. Although she's actually afraid that you might reject her, considering that her face still has a burn scar coupled with the taunts of her sister, Alex."

      "Austin told me he'd never found a woman as good as you. Not even looking at anything from him. The empress approached Natasha and gently rubbed her hair.

      "Austin would have waited, but I was worried that the emperor would have urged him to marry soon to carry on his duties. Surely you will be in a difficult situation!"

Natasha tried to neutralize the pounding on her chest.

      "Any decision later, I will accept with sincerity. I didn't want to expect much more and ended up disappointed. Hoping on humans would only bring endless disappointment."

Suddenly the door of the room opened, displaying the empress' youngest child. He came in and sat down next to Natasha. He looked at the girl's face and smiled.

      "Austin's choice is not wrong. You should marry Austin. I don't want anyone else, only brother can accept Austin's shortcomings."

      "During this time no woman wanted to approach him or just look at him, just brother only. If brother Austin is happy, then the whole empire is happy too."

Natasha could only silently hear him. It was clear she was given the green light, but could not abandon her obligations as a queen.

Lucas and Natasha are already in the kingdom. For days the girl thought about the words of her empress and youngest child.

      "I want a lifetime with Austin, but I can't abandon my duties as a queen."

Natasha could only cry inside the room, thinking about her complicated destiny.

A month later Austin's face was normal. Even the servants were stunned to see his good looks, even though they had previously been reluctant to see the man.

At that time in the empire was being held a birthday event for the daughter of Victoria, the youngest sister of Austin.

After Austin left, some noble girls began to approach Victoria.

     "Daughter, isn't that prince Austin? Why be so handsome?"

     "Right, it felt like I had regretted rejecting her proposal back then."

Victoria then showed her dislike.

      "Huh, stop rubbing my brother. He already has one!"

Hearing that, they were surprised.

     "Who's daughter? Which noble has captivated his heart?"

     "Ah, I'm so envious!"

     "Of course the queen of the kingdom of Beverly. Only he does not look at the physical like you, he also helps my brother to heal his burn scars. So don't expect to be his wife, just dream!"
