"What are you asking for?" Said Ken.

"Eum... A secret! Haha.. For sure I am very grateful to you Ken and also to you mother" said Merlin.

"I also thank you for coming back with me" Ken said. He started to approach his body at Merlin. Their lips are stuck together. Merlin could feel Ken's warm breath.

"Ughhh!" From a distance someone threw an arrow right in Ken's chest.

"Huh!? Ken! KEN!" Merlin was surprised. He looked around him. The place was very quiet. There was no sign of anyone infiltrating his home.

"Mer-Lin! Go quickly!" Said Ken. Blood started to pour everywhere. It turned out that the arrow was no ordinary arrow. There's a royal emblem right at the end of the arrow. Merlin remembered something, every arrow possessed by the palace warriors was already mixed with poison.

"NO! KEN! Let's get back together!" Merlin.

"No Merlin, hurry up save mom and get out of here!"

Merlin follows Ken's orders. He went inside and approached Risha.

"Mother!"

"Merlina! Eat first! Where is Ken?" Ask Risha.

"Mother, we have to escape first!"

There was the sound of a horse rushing towards the house. Risha looked out the window. After seeing that they both ran through the back door.

"But where's Ken!" Risha repeated her question.

"Ken... " Merlin's tears began to fall.

"Don't tell me..." Risha. He stopped his steps.

"Mother! We gotta get out of here!"

"Merlin baby, go boy! I'm gonna go over to Ken. You can't be far from her!"

"A- What? But Ken told me to save mom! Mom please"

"Then I'll save you, son, go! I'll lure them in that direction!" Risha ran towards the house.

Merlin could only be silent. He doesn't know what to do. The herds chase Risha in the opposite direction.

Merlin again ran away from the herd. He began to feel pain in his stomach. He fell down because he could not endure the pain.

Merlin saw an old hut. Due to exhaustion he stopped and rested there. Her tears washed her face again. He felt all this because of him. Merlin now felt very empty. There were no more people he loved around him.

After the incident, Merlin decided to stay in the middle of the city. Armed with a little money he rented a small house but still worth living in.

With that big belly, Merlin is also working hard for the future of herself and her baby. The long-awaited day has arrived. Merlin gave birth to a son.

A wide smile spread on his lips. There is a lot of hatred for Austin.

One day Merlin bravely took his son to the palace. It was time for Austin and the people around him to know what he was doing.

He has arrived at a gate. The first time he set foot in the palace.

"Who are you? What do you want to come to the palace for?" ask the guard in front of the gate.

"I want to meet the king! Tell him Merlin's coming to bring his son!" Merlin said firmly.

The two guards were astonished by Merlin's words.

Luke ran into Austin's room in a hurry.

Sontak Austin turned to the door that was opening loudly.

"What's up!? It's so presumptuous of you not to knock-"

"How long haven't we seen each other, Merlin?" Austin said after Merlin arrived holding his son. Austin's eyes were on the boy.

"Aren't you asking about this kid?" Merlin.

"Must I ask?"

"Do you not want to hold your own child?"

"My child? Did I not hear wrong? Maybe it's the son of someone else who's tempted of you"

"That's what huh? That I've played with you and given birth to the child? Ahaha! You are crazy! Does anyone believe that? You will be in a dangerous position."

Merlin was silent to hear this.

"If you want to live, the child will soon disappear..." Austin.

Merlin was shocked to hear that coming out of Austin's mouth.

Merlin came out of the palace. With a shaky step he walked back to his house. One thing is certain Austin did not accept his own son. But Merlin did not stop there. He had to survive with his son.

Four years later, a happy day enveloped the palace. Crown Prince Claude is married to Irene Effenberg, who is now the crown princess.

Everyone there, nobility or not flocked to the palace. Most of the people there were in the palace courtyard. From a distance Merlin saw the happiness of them especially Austin.

Two years later, after the wedding of the crown prince and the crown princess, they had just been blessed with a son who would dye the kingdom. Austin felt very calm, he did not have to worry about the next heir.

Merlin returned home. He began to prepare to go to the palace. He opened a box in which there was a lot of paper and also a small knife that Ken had made.

"Thank you, Ken, for making it for me" muttered Merlin as she hugged the little knife.

She rushed to the palace in a simple dress.

It was another happy night for the palace family. Austin made a festive feast for the birth of his favorite grandson.

Merlin, who as a guest visited the palace and saw Austin talking with his friends.

Austin's eyes were fixed on a girl who was very familiar to him. The girl also left.

"I'm sorry, please enjoy the meal" said Austin and passed away following the girl.

It was in a palace garden. There's only him there. There's no one just there he is. Until someone stroked her shoulders gently. Austin looked at her.

"Good night, your majesty! Congratulations on the birth of the royal successor" said Merlin.

"Gee... Who'sisthis? You're finally back." Austin.

"You are right, your majesty, my life is burdened by that child. But now look, I feel more at peace than usual"

"It looks like you've eliminated the boy. What do you want now?" Austin.

Merlin held Austin's hand slowly and took him to a palace gazebo. They were really just the two of us outside.

"You think?" Merlin.

"You want to go back to being my subordinate?" Guess Austin. Merlin nodded slowly.

"It's not that easy as Merlin"

"It's a pity, but not what's noble, I'll just go back home" Merlin said with a sad look.

"Where was your pretty face? Smile! It's been 6 years that you still have a pretty face like this" Austin said. Merlin was flattered to hear that.

"Are you not tired? I was so tired from crammed into the nobles" Merlin said.

"Our palace received lodging for the nobility, but if you want I can ask the maid to give you one room"
