Chapter 39: Refusing the offer!

Ken just turned off his car engine in the parking lot at Sarah's parents' house.

Ken got out of his car watching the house in the European style, tall pillars, dim lights in the park, and a fountain with a towering statue decorating the yard.

"Well, the house is huge, the yard is wide. The type of house a lot of money." muttered Ken while walking towards the door of the house.

"Hi Ken! Finally stopped by my hut." welcome Sarah to the doorway.

Ken only smiled wryly hearing Sarah call his palace the word 'hub'.

"It's for you Sarah." Ken gave Sarah a bouquet of white roses.

Sarah seemed happy to receive it, she smelled the scent of the flower, "Cheat Ken, like you" she said, blushing.

"Ehem.." 

Sarah's father's thumping voice made Ken and Sarah immediately turn their heads.

Ken gave his regards.

"Good night, Mr. Tanu Lavin." Ken and Tanu shake hands.

"Finally get to meet Ken the young boss who just got on the move" Tanu joked.

A while they chatted to get along, then the event continued to dinner, after which they enjoyed tea.

"Okay boss." The conversation's over.

A hologram suddenly appeared.

"Wow, I haven't had a mission to save people in a long time." Ken drove off in his car following the map in the hologram.

Map to a deserted street on the edge of town, street lights off and deserted passers-by. From inside the car Ken saw a woman and a small child who were bullied by two large-bodied thugs.

In an instant Ken managed to make the two thugs faint.

Ken wiped the blood that came out of his mouth. "Huh. shit!"

Ken approached the mother and the little boy who were crying.

The little boy dodged Ken, he hid behind his mother's body.

"Don't be afraid, brother isn't a bad guy like them." Ken went to see the boy's face.

"Thank you for the help, if there is no mas maybe my son has been taken away from the thugs." the mother still trembled in fear.

"It looks like your son is still traumatized." Ken saw the boy looking down not daring to look at him.

The police car came, some policemen took the two thugs into the car.

"Thank you, Mr. Ken. I'm sorry I was able to come with us to the police station to be questioned" a police officer said.

"Hmm. okay." Ken got into his car, followed the police car to the police station.

Ken also did not forget to contact Beno so that he did not wait for him.

Ken's been interrogated until midnight. Ken also did not forget to take the victim home.
