Superstar Simulator
Episode 20's

"Sst. Don't talk, you shouldn't talk. Bro, you look more upbeat today."

"Feel..you grow taller? Has the previous bro been this high?"

"The effect of exercise looks very obvious? Shit, maybe tomorrow I should try 500 push-ups and 500 crunches if I have time?"

"You are of course joking, you even have trouble getting out of bed! If you have such determination bro, you probably already have muscles by now!"

The beep!

Received a stunning score of 18 points!

"Hmm?"

Hearing the sound of a hint of mesmerizing value coming into his account, Arthur Lewis, with a toothbrush in his mouth, subconsciously looked into the mirror.

"Well..."

Brushing his teeth in the morning was sickening, and seeing a mediocre face with only 44 appearance attributes in the mirror almost made Arthur Lewis vomit again.

He immediately turned his gaze and looked at his body in the mirror, wearing only his underwear. Arthur Lewis raised his eyebrows.

There must be a difference!

Initially, the original owner's posture was slightly bent, with his back and chest sunken. This type of physical makes it look a bit ugly even though it has lost 9 kg.

But now, Arthur Lewis' back was much straighter, and his chest was naturally bloated.

This kind of change is hard to notice if you don't spend a lot of time with someone. But as the saying goes, "stand up and sit up straight," and once the posture is straight, one's overall temperament increases!

The beep!

["Upgrade attributes completed! The temperament attribute had increased to 38. Please continue to strive to complete recommended tasks to improve user attributes."]

All righty!

Facing the gazes of some of his classmates, Arthur Lewis quickly picked up his toothbrush to brush his teeth a few times, then spat out the foam in his mouth.

He hurriedly rubbed his face with a towel carelessly and stretched his muscles. As he enlarged his chest, his spine let out a pleasant "crack" sound.

"Maybe yesterday I was training

too loud. Everything hurts, and my back can't be straight. Anyway, it's getting late. Let's go" he said casually, turning away his friends. Arthur Lewis took his clothes and led them down the stairs.

...

The filming location was about eight kilometers from the university campus. As a practicing actor, the production crew would certainly provide transportation for them. Fortunately, it is also a famous tourist attraction with several bus routes and tourist trails available.

Arthur Lewis and five of his colleagues rushed and slowed down, eventually arriving at the north gate of the set just before 7 a.m.

"Well, there's a lot of people here?"

Arriving at the north gate, everyone exclaimed in shock. Even Arthur Lewis could not hold his breath in surprise.

It was only 7am, and the sun had not yet risen above the clouds in the east. The air was still cold and humid from the previous night, but over a thousand people had gathered at the entrance of the filming set.

Most of them were people who were young, and some even had attractive looks. On that cold morning, some wrapped in coats and squatting by the side of the road, others smoked and talked in groups. Some have even spread sleeping bags on the grass on the side of the road, either to take a nap or sleep all night there.

No matter their appearance or behavior, they were all figures.

"Have all the students from Bandung Language Institute arrived? Gather here!"

As Arthur Lewis and his friends stood still, a loud speaker sounded.

Realizing it was the same production crew that came to the school to recruit, Arthur Lewis and his friends hurriedly approached.

"Hurry, hurry! What's the matter? Didn't you guys get enough sleep? Move faster!"

"One, two, three, four, five, six. why are there only twenty-six of you here? Wasn't it more than forty people who signed up yesterday? Why are there so few here?"

"What's wrong with your students? Why are you trying to steal a position in front of the line? Oh. today's student."

Amidst the chaos, after counting people, the assistant director of the actor in charge brought people to the production crew feeling helpless.

There were actually supposed to be more than forty people, but in reality only twenty people had come.

Seeing that someone was going to the location of the film, he held a microphone and looked at the students from the Bandung Language Institute. He shouted, "Is the student council executive among you?"

"There!"

In response to his question, a tall and skinny handsome student raised a hand and quickly slipped towards the assistant director.

With a smile, Michael Harriston of the art department's student council announced, "Teacher, my name is Michael Harriston! I'm from the performing arts department's student council."

The assistant director was pleased with the respectful attitude of this young man and subconsciously tightened his back as he nodded, "Alright, good. Let's finish for the first day. Tomorrow, I will give you a list of notices from your school and you will be responsible for gathering all the students so that it will not be as pleasant as today. Since you are learning acting, teach your friends how to act. You'll be in charge of them from now on, and I'll talk directly to you."

"Of course, teacher! Don't worry, I'll arrange everything and make sure you don't have to worry about anything!"

"okay."

By hitting the youngster's shoulder, the assistant director nodded, "It's good, young man. Michael Harriston, isn't he? Once we get to the set, I'll arrange something for you."

"Thank you, teacher! It's very cold outside. You can give me a list of notifications and I'll wait here. You can rest in the car. I'll call you when everything's ready!"

After receiving appreciation from the assistant director, Michael Harriston quickly bowed and picked up the list. Then, he asked Arthur Lewis and the others to stand at the back of the minibus.

"Eh, man, are you majoring in film literature? What does 'set something?' mean?'" ask some curious classmates.

After thinking for a moment, Arthur Lewis replied, "Simplistically, this means you'll be part of the cast."

He gave a short answer but in fact, "organizing things" has a more complex meaning.

In the process of filming a movie or TV drama, the main character usually remains in the center focus range of the camera.

However, it is impossible for the camera to focus only on the main character in a scene. The scene also requires a supporting role.

Therefore, it takes the extras.

However, not all figurines have the same role, some need to be at a distance to present the background, while others need to be closer to describe the time and place of the story, form an atmosphere for the development of the story.

For example, in a crowded street scene, a female character walks into a cameraman from afar. In this scene, there should be newspaper and cigarette sellers, beggars, patrolling police, customers coming out of the barbershop, and patients buying drugs in Chinese drugstores.

These quick roles together form the distinctive atmosphere of the movie scene. This is the job of the foreground actor. Compared to regular figures, foreground actors should have a clearer face on camera, as well as their appearance and attire will be more detailed. Although a lot of people were extra in front of the set, most of them could not cast as foreground actors.

"What's the problem with all of you? The vice director has been waiting for half a day, and you guys have just come now! Can't you wake up early if you walk far? Don't you guys take the crew seriously?" Just as Arthur Lewis thought so, some friends arrived late, and Michael Harriston put down the production mark and loudly scolded them.

"Anj*ng, you really think you are someone important. Taking chicken feathers as arrows, thinking you guys are officials!" Seeing Michael Harriston angry and shouting, a friend spat heavily on the ground. Arthur Lewis could not help but laugh. Beep it! [Finished the suggested task (apprenticed in the production crew), 2-star difficulty, and got the F x1 level treasure chest reward]

[Open coffin.].

[Congratulations, the user has acquired the skill of [Starter Film Understanding]]

[Do you want to use it now?]

As the last group of students headed for their seats, Arthur Lewis heard a notification sound indicating that the task had been completed.
