Section 10. Mysterious Man

Feeling safe, Seline came out of hiding and was about to return to her contract.

Just as Seline was about to step away, the hoarse voice of the man stopped her steps. Seeing how pitiful the man was, made Seline unbearable. Perhaps he needed to give her a poison, so that the man would not suffer too much and meet with God immediately.

Joking. Seline tried to help the man to stand up, because his house was closest in this area, for a while she would take him to her house first.

An ambulance? No, it's too risky to call an ambulance or scream for help. There will be a good chance that the bad guys will come back and harm this man.

Seline's clumsy hand gently applied the medicine to the man's wound. He then wrapped it with a bandage.

"You awake?" seline asked as the man opened his eyes.

The man looked at Seline warily, as his tail saw a small knife on the table. He quickly picked it up and directed it to Seline.

The man held his stomach in pain, the pain from the stab wound and the pain of the medicine merged into one.

However, it seemed that the man did not care at all, there was no expression of pain on his face just a sharp gaze as if wanting to kill Seline.

Seline quiet. Looked flat at the man's eyes. Seline's face showed no fear at all, the corner of her lips even raised to form a grin.

"You're quite vigilant, but do you know. If I were your enemy, wouldn't you have died?"

Seline's scathing words seemed to touch the man's heart, she lowered the knife she was holding and vigilance was not as sharp as before.

"I don't know what happened to you, but I see your outfit is a limited edition outfit. So, I'll just go straight. Your medical expenses are 3 million rupiah. If you stay tonight, then the cost will be 5 million rupiah" explained Seline.

"I don't need your help" the man replied. He tried to stand up, but fell back down and sat down on the sofa.

"I will not count your insolent attitude to your savior, but because you have made my house dirty with blood, then I had to calculate the total cost to be 10 million rupiah."

As if pierced by a sword, the man almost died in shock. He stared in disbelief at Seline. The beautiful girl in a t-shirt and training pants, smiled innocently at him.

"It looks like your brain is broken. You just bandaged my wound, not operated on me. And just so you know, the hospital fee won't be like that either."

"Are you doubting my ability to count profits?"

Seline still wanted to serve the man's words, but her stomach could no longer endure. Seline turned her head towards the wall clock, time had already shown at 2 am and she had not eaten anything at all.

"Huh, I'll let you go this time," he said and went to the kitchen to cook instant noodles.

Seline's first lesson was spent sleeping, in class. He only slept a few hours a night, all of which was not separated from the man he saved last night.

After getting to know each other, Seline learns that the man's name is Kris Alexander. Apparently the man is the antagonist in this novel.

In the novel, Kris is described as a delinquent who is very difficult to manage. Because of the male protagonist, his father's company is destroyed and his mother is harassed, then his parents commit suicide.

Because of his vengeance, the male antagonist then chooses a dark path to avenge him. Unfortunately, before avenging her, she was instead framed by her lover and then arrested by the police.

Spending a lifetime in prison with revenge. Of course it's something very sad. Until the end of his life, he could not take revenge for his destroyed family.

Even so, it is also the antagonist's fault, because it often neglects the family.

"Why do I think about the fate of others? I'd better think of my own fate" Seline complained. He put his cheeks back to the table, staring at the screen of his phone sadly.

It had been a week, Tio had not contacted him at all. Even the message is not answered. Did something happen to the boy?

I don't know what duty his father gave up, making the man unable to go home and serve Seline again.

"Seline," said Dita. He with a happy face sat next to Seline.
