Chapter 9: The Hospital

Hospitals.

Upon arrival at the hospital, Professor Bai got out of the car screaming for the nurse there to help him bring Qin Chen inside to perform the surgery because the wound was so severe.

"Student Qin hang on, we're in the hospital, hang on."

Qin Chen's consciousness faded and slowly disappeared.

While his body was brought into the ER room performing preliminary precautions, Professor Bai was outside waiting for Qin Chen's development.

But surprisingly the nurse took him to the ICU room.

"Are you a patient's family? If true, please fill in the data so that the operation can be carried out."

"Good."

As a parent at the university, he signed and filled out all the required files using his money to pay for Qin Chen's operations.

One of the nurses came out to approach Professor Bai. "Are you a family patient? These are the patient's belongings."

"Thank you nurse, how are things? Please save him."

"Please calm down, the doctor will handle it as much as possible. Then, I will continue the work first."

After handing over his belongings, he went back inside to conduct an operation against Qin Chen.

The system in his mind diverted Qin Chen's soul into him by not recovering his injuries due to the surgery on his body. If not, then there will be a lot of shock obtained by the doctor.

The soul diversion was successful and he only gained excessive mental damage while feeling unbearable pain and death over and over again.

"How to contact Qin Chen's family, however they should know his condition now. But ... " He recalled that Qin Chen had no family, his father and mother died in the explosion of a business plane out of town.

His friends must be at the university doing learning as usual.

Suddenly the door of the room opened where a beautiful woman came in to see Qin Chen sitting in confusion.

"Thank God you're awake, how are you? Don't move much because you've just recovered from surgery and need regular maintenance to heal the wound completely."

"Thank you so much Professor Bai for saving me, about the hospital fees I'll replace after I get out of this place."

"Don't think about the cost, the most important thing is that you get well is enough."

Professor Bai approached him and put down the fruits, he peeled the apples for Qin Chen to eat so that he quickly recovered and could do his usual activities.

During these few days, he heard that Qin Chen was making the Type-Zero System project, but the disaster came to him so that the project was pushed back for Qin Chen to work on.

"Qin Chen, can you explain to me what happened to you?"

"I don't really remember it, before that I was going to the supermarket to buy some stuff, in the middle of a black car ride and a dozen people with large bodies carrying daggers."

Professor Bai was unable to say anything, the incident that Qin Chen had experienced earlier was an assassination attempt and had yet to find the people who made him what he was now.

The police are investigating the case to be resolved because it left the victim close to losing his life.

The university strongly condemns the people who made Qin Chen almost lose his life, because he is a man who has the talent to change this world better.

Suspecting some people, Qin Chen can find out that this may be the act of his ex-lover's girlfriend. Because before he was stabbed, he had met him and refused to speak.

To lead him who did not have much evidence, Qin Chen could not so much as have to look for evidence that could demand him to go to prison.

"Professor Bai, I will investigate my attempted murder case, because I as the victim might be able to help find the mastermind behind all this."

"No! You still need to be treated for a few days before you get out of the hospital, I'll call the doctor to get you checked out again. Don't try to run away while I'm here."

The professor is so creepy and fierce yet so sweet!

Qin Chen was almost mesmerized and entered into a chaos of feeling.

"What a natural temptation, if I were rich I would marry her without age, because feelings cannot be hindered by anything including age."

"To now look for solid evidence to bring him into prison! Putting aside the feeling, as long as I get the title of Professor, then there will be many women waiting in line in front of her to become a wife."

Being stabbed twice and dying three times, his memory was messed up and his mind started to drift in strange directions.

Most likely this is a side effect because it has absolute power involving mentally disturbed and irregular memory.

Not long after Professor Bai came out of the room, he went inside to bring the doctor to check on Qin Chen and his injuries.

Qin Chen was only silent for the doctor's examination beside him.
