Episode 42 - Yin and Yang (Part 6)

What do you think, when a loser guy suddenly becomes very strong, even invincible. Even when dealing with people he did not know yet, he was able to defeat him easily.

Each of us has an instinct to survive. Even since ancient times, humans have been trained to have a survival instinct in the face of threats and dangers.

The mechanism of self-protecting when there is a threat and danger is known as the 'Fight or Flight' mechanism and triggers physiological changes in the body.

How does this mechanism work?

Fight or flight begins in the amygdala, the part of the brain that plays a role in recognizing fear. In the event of danger, the amygdala will respond by sending signals to the hypothalamus. The hypothalamus will then stimulate the autonomic nervous system. 

The autonomic nervous system consists of the sympathetic nervous system and the parasympathetic nervous system. The sympathetic nervous system is responsible for the fight or flight response. Meanwhile, the parasympathetic nervous system is in charge of controlling the freeze response. The results of the reaction that comes out will depend on which system dominates when there is a danger.

That's how the Fight or Flight mechanism works. If you think that Dafa suddenly becomes great, it is because it has a very strong response to threats and dangers. Even his survival instinct was very strong. Plus, he currently has a system that can help him wherever and whenever Dafa needs it.

That's why Dafa can become stronger all of a sudden, even stronger than people he may not necessarily be able to defeat. Dafa's father also had a very strong instinct. No wonder Dafa has it too.

Dafa and Galang were being besieged by a gang of fifty Red Tigers. Dafa and Galang turned their backs so that if attacked from the opposite direction could defend each other's defenses.

Dafa felt a sense of fear emitted from Galang. His body trembled, sweat poured out, even he also lowered his gaze.

Dafa who was worried about Galang's situation, he lowered his fighting position and tried to negotiate with the Red Tiger gang.

"ah! It was just instinct" Dafa replied as he scratched his head.

"Where can we just disperse when one of our gangs is just defeated with a sneer like you" said another member by pointing a baseball bat at Dafa.

"Ta–but it was not on purpose!" galang replied loudly despite being a bit scared.

"Well! There was Galang. Since when did you become friends with that cupu," said someone who had heard Dafa's voice.

"Well! There's Danil!" galang. "And the time in that narrow alley!" sahut Dafa's. Galang responded by nodding his head.

"All right, I'm not gonna use any subtle ways. But I'll just fight with your chief! If not, you are the weakest gang for daring to fight two people by bringing in a very large army," snapped Dafa because he also thought of Galang.

Galang patted Dafa's shoulder. "He's not my friend anymore. My friend is the only one. You say, be yourself not following the style of others" said Galang calmly.

Dafa smiled as he said, "Although that is the case, are we capable of defeating both of them."

"By the way about the chairman. The Red Tiger Gang is divided into seven divisions and the division that is besieging you is currently the seventh division, the lowest division in the Red Tiger alley," said the Red Tiger member who faced Dafa earlier.

"Certain why? Is it too important to know that?" ask Dafa in a small tone.

"That's because I'm the strongest," Dafa replied as he performed a round kick towards the member wearing the brass knuckle.
