The formation of these two movements triggered the emergence of other movements that resulted in revolts in Central Java.

Before the DI/TII rebellion under the leadership of Amir Fatah in Central Java had already appeared a similar movement led by Abas Abdullah. 

The force led by Abas was named Hezbollah Forces, where at that time they decided to go to the disputed territory of Indonesia-Netherlands, namely Brebes. 

Until there, this force formed a new army called the Mujahideen called the Islamic Assembly (MI). 

Not only Hezbollah forces, Amir Fatah was also in the midst of Brebes, his interest to later join the rebellion was because he felt he had the same viewpoint and ideology, especially in forming the Islamic State of Indonesia.

Finally on August 23, 1949, Amir and his friends decided to join NII spearheaded by Kartosoewirjo.
