“I'm sorry Dear” Mathew pulled Alexa into his arms, sprinkled a kiss on the top of Alexa's head. He held the tiny body while rubbing his back trying to relieve his sadness with a mouth that never stopped muttering the word Sorry.

Alexa pulls herself from Matthew's arms. “I'm fine Matt, don't worry about me”. Alexa smiled gently at Matthew as if nothing had happened. Matthew looked at the woman.

“So, what are we eating tonight? I'm already very hungry.” Alexa.

Why has his attitude changed so quickly? Inner Matthew.

“I've ordered Delivery earlier darling, maybe soon our food samp-“.

Not finished Matt finished his speech, the sound of the apartment bell interrupts him. “Ah it must be the delivery officer coming, let me take it.” Matthew moved from his seat to the door.
