The Annoying Hero

The Annoying Hero
Chapter 1

The sun was shining this time. Cloudy clouds came shrouding the surface of the sky that dominated the pale black color. Swiftlets fly in uncertain directions, trying to find the pace of migration they travel. Tens of kilometers from the coastal area, far away in a barren forest stands an old hut that is still strong to hold weathered poles that are left half inedible age.

An old man is limping because of his fragile legs that have been porous due to osteoporosis. Wooden stick as a buffer he made a pedestal while stepping both feet to continue walking towards the destination.

A pencil with a red eraser tip was tucked in a pocket of the old grandfather's chest. Wherever he went, he did not forget he would bring his favorite pencil. Indeed, this pencil looks ordinary and is obsolete. But who would have thought, the pencil had a secret that only the old man knew.

"Huh.dead again the fire. Make me a hassle" Umbat the old grandfather when cooking clean water with a fire stove from wood embers.

"Here you go, I'm lazy to look for firewood again. Forget about the warm tea I'm going to make. I want to continue my writing" he muttered as he stepped his frail foot onto a table by the open window.

From inside the house, the wind blew. Passing through the open window, it appeared that sandy dust entered the reot hut belonging to the old crutches. He doesn't care about that at all. With minus glasses perched firmly on the base of his nose, he sat on a wooden chair.

Weathered table in front of him, he looked carefully. Seen a white notebook that says 'Annoying Hero' makes the old man smile knot. Before long, his wrinkled hands tried to reach his favorite pencil that was still faithful tucked in the pocket of his left breast shirt.

Works : Mr Lee Sue

That's how the old man wrote his name on the cover of the book. Slowly he opened strands by strands of paper on the white book. Flipping through pages and trying to research every piece of writing lately. He really likes to make pictures of heroes and some writing.

Comic artist. Since young, old grandfather named Mr. Lee Sue has often wrestled with his work as a comic writer. This is the only cure for every disease. Coupled with a magic pencil that never broke since the first time he bought it first.

With a little black scratch and imagination that master Lee Sue has, he is convinced that his comic book 'Annoying Hero' will sell to publishers in the city. Moreover, the name and some of the work of Mr. Lee Sue previously always be a best seller. Great right!?

Evershin forest, an area where barren land is overgrown with poisonous plants and springs that start to dry up. It was here that master Lee Sue spent the rest of her life. No relatives or brothers. He lives a kara. Material issues, he did not think much about them. Every month, money and money always come to him. Not falling from the sky through the prayer he offered, but the sembako was given by his only child who lived in the city. As for the money, he got it from the publisher's office which was still under contract to him.

After a few hours Mr. Lee Sue struggled with his pencil and white paper, now he felt exhausted and then gulped down the mineral water from the glass neatly stored on the table.

"I drew a young hero so perfectly" he muttered as he watched his comic work from the grasp of his right hand "Should I name him?" He restated the book "Does Sazuro's name match his? Hmm. I think it's good" he said.

"Sazuro, don't wait for me! I will continue your adventure tomorrow. I'm tired today" he told the white paper he had just written.

The sun has risen. Embarrassedly, the light slipped into the old grandfather's hut. Slowly the eyes of master Lee Sue opened little by little. The sun's rays looked a blinding sting to his half-sighted eyes. With a quick movement, master Lee Sue got up and headed towards the kitchen area.

Not for cooking. Instead, he wanted to cook water to make a cup of hot coffee in the morning. With some wood scraps available, he started to make fire with his battering ram. Not to forget, he blew the fire from the furnace to get bigger.

While waiting for the boiled water to mature, Mr. Lee Sue intends to open the white paper and wants to continue his unfinished writing. At the age of half a century more, he wanted to finish 'Annoying Hero' before he died leaving his life empty. Although his wrinkled hands sometimes feel tired of drawing, but he was never discouraged to not continue this work.

"You made me have two traits that contradict each other Sazuro. When you are in front of your opponents, you will be brave and brave. However, in the glasses of ordinary people you are just a very annoying snot boy. You act as a bully just as a mask to cover your identity as a hero" he muttered to tell the character of his writing.

Then, master Lee Sue again walked to the kitchen area to see if the water she boiled was ripe or not. Slowly, he opened the lid of the iron teapot with one of his hands.

"It was boiling apparently" he said and then he lifted the teapot carefully. Do not forget to turn off the remaining embers of the fire so as not to propagate burning his reot hut.

Skillfully, master Lee Sue's hand concocted the coffee grounds and sugar into the glass. Then, he poured the hot water he had just cooked. Stir the drink to mix well.

Mr. Lee Sue slowly walked over to the window table that was her favorite. The left hand holding a cup of coffee and the right hand holding onto a wooden stick did not make it a hassle. He wanted to continue his beloved comic that would become his last written work.

"I don't know until when my hand will be able to draw your story Zuro. And I know that heroes can't be called heroes if they don't have villains. Therefore, I will make an opponent for you Zuro" said Mr. Lee Sue monologue.

With a knotty smile etched on his face, master Lee Sue began to scratch his pencil onto the surface of the blank paper on his white book.

"How's Zuro? You want the villain to be either male or female?" Mr. Lee Sue thought for a moment.
