A week later, Ruby has also sent a job application letter to Safira's office. He hoped to be accepted to work at the company, because his savings were running low, and he did not want to be a burden for his sister.

Ruby was fiddling with her phone, she looked at pictures of herself with Arkan while they were husband and wife, and she missed her ex-husband.

“I can't be like this, I have to forget about it.” Ruby erased all the photos from her phone, and she doesn't want to remember Arkan anymore.

Suddenly an email came in and it turned out to be a reply from Unique Jewelry, the company where Safira worked. Ruby was asked to come to the company right now for an interview.

In a hurry, Ruby changed her clothes and got a little dressed up, then rushed away feeling nervous and happy.

Upon arrival at the ten-story luxury building, Ruby is welcome to enter the HRD room. A middle-aged woman who still looked beautiful, sat before him.

“Good day, Ruby Milana.” Say hello to that woman is friendly.

“Include me Desi, I HRD here.” Said the woman named Desi. “Can we start the interview?”

Desi begins interviewing Ruby and asks her many questions about her status. Ruby also answered Desi's question nervously and as is.

Ruby was astonished, she had not expected to be accepted so soon.

“Alright, then please sign his employment contract.” Desi put a piece of paper in front of Ruby.

After his business with Desi was finished, Ruby left the Unique Jewelry building, but she did not go home immediately. Ruby decided to go to a clothing store to buy some new clothes to wear to work, with the rest of her savings.

After deciding to sue Arkan divorce and get out of her husband's house, Ruby did not get a living, her ex-husband just let go of his responsibilities. Fortunately during her marriage to Arkan, Ruby saved up little by little the rest of the spending money without her husband's knowledge, so right now that money is what she uses for her needs.

Ruby walked around every corner of the store, choosing which clothes would be suitable for her to wear to the office. Of course he is looking for an affordable price so as not to drain his savings too much.

Suddenly a woman walked into the clothing store and was surprised to see her whereabouts.

“Ruby?”

“Rena?”

“Unexpectedly we meet here.” Rena Sayings.

“Hem, looks like I'm unlucky today.” Reply Ruby with a sour face.

“Ruby, why talk like that?”

“Already, I have no time to serve you.” Ruby passed leaving Rena, she was really lazy to see the face of the woman who had captured her husband's heart.

Rena doesn't give up, she follows Ruby.

Ruby did not touch the woman, she continued walking towards the exit, but unexpectedly Arkan also came and they passed by.

“Ruby?” Arkan was a little surprised then turned to look at Rena who was standing behind his ex-wife.

“Mas Arkan?” Ruby looked at Arkan, her eyes suddenly heating up and quickly the clear liquid inundated her.

“Sayang ..” Rena suddenly hugged Arkan. “So he insulted me in front of everyone, he said I am shameless and cheap.”

Ruby was stunned to hear Rena slandering her.

Arkan stared at Ruby. “What are you doing? We are over and you have no right to insult my lover!”

“Mas, without me being insulted, everyone already knows how despicable this actor is. So according to Mas, do I still need to insult him?” Ruby said while holding back her tears.

“I don't need to keep my sayings, I just keep my pride from being insulted like him.” Ruby continued and rushed away leaving the two men while wiping her tears that fell down.

“Honey, he insulted me again.” Spoiled Rena whine.

Arkan just hardened his jaw holding in fury because of the words of his ex-wife while hugging the cunning grinning Rena.

Along the way, Ruby was incessantly crying, she ignored the people who were looking at her. His heart is wounded and sick, the man he loved and once loved him now prefers to defend other women.

Ruby decided to go home without having time to buy anything, she walked in a hurry and was about to cross the street carelessly. Suddenly a luxury sedan drove fast and almost hit him, fortunately the driver of the car braked on time.

“Sorry.” Ruby nodded while apologizing and just walked away.

A man sitting behind the wheel of a luxury sedan was just looking at Ruby from inside his car.

“Dia?” Mumbled the man.

I don't know what was on the man's mind, he went back to his car and turned the direction. Upon seeing Ruby take the bus, the man immediately follows her without Ruby's knowledge.
