It was not just questions from Rael that became a burden. The condition of the mother is also concerning since their arrival in the city of Palma.
A year ago, the accident happened. A fateful suratan that requires Latina to separate from her father and mother from her husband.
Anderson is gone because of complications he suffered. Her healthy partner is gone, making Eliza's condition decrease. The mother sometimes expressed her intention to return to America. He recalls the time he spent with Anderson.
This became a dilemma because Latina was afraid Dean would snatch Rael from her. Sometimes he thinks, why should he be afraid? They don't have any debts, and Dean once said they didn't want to have children.
Yet, still. A bad breakup must have led to something unwanted. Latina was never honest with Dean. Judging from the man's nature, Latina was confident that the young master of the Cornor family would make the calculations.
This is not a time for weakness. Latina continued to convince herself. He can be free, he is not attached to anyone. But, upon seeing Rael, that fear was suddenly present.
The last news Latina read over the internet, Dean broke off her engagement with Berlin. After that, there was no news anymore because Dean had closed all his social media accounts.
In the city of Palma, Latina works as a bank employee in customer service. He could finance the family, and the money from Jason's property sale, also covered the shortage.
If she returns to America, Latina will not necessarily get a quick job. There was nothing left except the home of his parents. Getting back there means, having to start all over again.
"Mom!"
Eliza looked at her daughter. "Will Rael eat no more?"
"No, but Mom has to eat." Latina exhaled a long breath. The food in the dish was still untouched. "I know you love her. But, Dad would be sad to see you like this. You've lost your spirit."
"It's the age factor, Latina. Not because of your late father." Eliza smiled as she said it.
"Mom!" rael ran into the house.
"What's wrong? You're making everyone shocked." Latina rubbed her son's hair that was soaked in sweat.
"The EU wants to go to America. They're going on spring break there" Rael said.
Rael nodded. "Come, Mom!"
"We need a lot of money to go there. Mom doesn't have that kind of money."
"Well!"
Rael's spirit descended upon Latina's rejection. He walked down to the sofa, and sat there.
"Rael, go back to your room. It's late afternoon and you have to take a shower."
"Good." Rael got off the chair, and stepped into his room.
"Is there nothing left? If you want to come back, we can ask for help" Eliza said.
"It's not about money, Mom."
Eliza knew what Latina meant because she talked about it often. The princess was only afraid of her baby which could have been taken later.
"The Cornor family certainly doesn't care. Why are we afraid? Or you're here, let Mom come home. I really don't feel at home here, Latina."
"I know, Mom. I'm gonna think about all this. It takes time to get home."
Eliza was silent and Latina knew her mother was disappointed. Really, he doesn't want to make you sad. Under these conditions, Latina wanted to make her parents happy. Sacrifices. No matter what happens, he will face it.
"Mom, we're going home to America."
