What about Hanifa and Galuh?
We flashback back, to the events when they were dating.
Two lovebirds go hand in hand, tracing the hallway of the mall building while enjoying a cool afternoon breeze. Beautiful mall model pallazzo made by Developer Yudha Mas Building, under the auspices of Yudha Mas Corp feels luxurious and comfortable.
However, Hanifah was nervous. Just this time he entered a mall of this size.
With surprise he looked around.
This mall is much more luxurious than the one under Susan's office. The interior is classic style and marble floors with motifs that have never been seen before Hanifah, like agate in wide form.
“This is one of Mr David's malls, Ms Hani has never been here?” Galuh asked because he felt strange about Hanifah's behavior.
“Eh? Not yet Mas, Mas David never allowed us to go alone,”
Galuh nodded in understanding. “Then, we roam around until satisfied yes, eat it after Ashar only how? While we buy snacks first. Mushola here is also very broad, loh,” Galuh said.
“Ya Mas,” Hanifah clumsily aligned her steps next to Galuh, yet the man simply stared at her without continuing his journey.
“Why Mas?” ask Hanifah.
“Can I hold his hand?”
“Eh?” Hanifah raised her thick eyebrows with a face that grew even more careless. Again, when asked this kind of question, he is slow to respond. So Galuh raised his big hand and raised it to accept Hanifa's hand. Let Hanifah himself decide whether to put his hand on the palm of Galuh or not.
Whether the power from nowhere, maybe also the ambiance of the Mall atmosphere, Hanifah without a second thought as usual put his tiny fingers into the hands of Galuh. Understanding, ‘titip Hanifah’ that means already one package with scenes like this.
Finally Galuh walked while holding Hanifah's hand.
Gandengs?
Jeezoo! The cry of Hanifa in the heart.
Galuh hands, warm and big. A little rough yet masculine.
This can't be! Shouldn't be! What possessed him just now? They are other people! The mind of Hanifah is timid.
But, why ... instead of releasing the handle, Hanifah even more tightly holding Galuh?
“Someone wants to buy, Ma'am?” ask Galuh.
“Heh?” Hanifah raised her face in shock when suddenly asked, “Eeeh, no, I've felt enough,”
“Oh yes? I'm on a pay rise, I've just been promoted in place of Miss Susan,”
“Vini and Vici needs are many, Mas,”
Galuh nodded in agreement with Hanifah's sentence just now. He was happy because Hanifah was so attentive to the twins.
“If anything is desired, do not hesitate to say yes,” Galuh said as he sucked his fingers between the soft fingers of Hanifah.
Hanifah's face flushed with embarrassment.
About an hour into the Mall, Galuh took him back to the palazzo and stopped in front of a restaurant.
“We eat here is okay?” galuh asked while pointing at a Japanese restaurant in front of them. It felt like this place was too exclusive for the Hanifah style of clothing, the woman immediately shriveled in disbelief. He hid behind Galuh's tall body when entering the restaurant, hoping not to be seen by other visitors.
When sitting at the table by the window and food has been served, then they can chat casually.
“Mbak Hani, may I ask you something personal?” ask Galuh.
“Ya Mas?”
“When Mbak Hani was married to Mr David, what did you really think?’
Hani looked at Galuh grimly.
“Hem, I think that it should be,” replied Hanifah.
“So? Don't you think about living alone?”
“When married by Abi Suleyman, we have just 17 years, Mas. Don't understand anything yet. If villagers, let alone violent victims like us, getting married is the only way to restore our honor and family. That paradigm has survived until now. So when married back to David mas who is financially more established than Abi Suleyman, I was okay as long as the community does not judge,”
“In the village there is still family?”
“Actually still Mas, relatives of our Father and Mother, but since we had a mental disorder they broke the cord. We are fully under the auspices of the Social Department. Only me and Alwa,”
“But you are now healthy again, they do not contact again?”
“No, Mas. Our family is not based on treasure, but on honor. The people there thought that we had been raped, so we were wrong. Whether it is because of our behavior that is considered flirtatious, likes to fish lust, or our style of clothing that is vulgar,”
“Mbak Hani and Mbak Alwa are?”
“For God's sake, no Mas! We are dressed in hijab because of our daily clothes, school uniforms from Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs). Even if using a negligent negligee from my mother whose arms are long and dirty. Anyway we were raped after .. after we caught both our parents killed. The four died,” this story is like opening old wounds for Hanifah.
“So getting married is the way out?”
“Ya Mas, for honor. By getting married, presumably someone takes care of us,”
“Hem, so if now a widow, it is also considered a disgrace?”
“That's how it is, even if there is iddah time. So I decided to be independent. So that I have busyness and get distracted from bad thoughts when bearing the status of the widow. Frankly, Mas Galuh, being the Widow of the Living Divorce in our village, is likened to the naka woman .. no doubt," Hanifah did not continue his sentence because it sounded painful.
“That's a wrong assumption,”
“Only I can fight the neighbor's nonsense, Mas?”
Galuh sighed with concern.
“Mas Galuh, currently I am already living in a big city. Where the culture is 180 degrees different from in the village. Women here bear the status of widows and single parents can live proudly because they are considered strong, independent and great women. But Mas, whose name doctrine has been implanted in my brain and Alwa since childhood. Moreover, such toxic doctrines are very difficult to remove from our brains, unless we are crazy and memory loss. Please understand that I am not ready for this. I'm still afraid that Mas David will divorce me,”
“Mbak Hani, I want to make you my wife,"
“Pray only Mas, who knows we are paired. Because frankly, I'm traumatized by marriage,”
They were silent for a while until Galuh clasped Hanifa's hand once more, trying to calm her down.
Then lifted her up and kissed the back of the woman's hand gently.
The romantic and gentle spirit slowly made Hanifa soar into the seventh sky. His fear instantly disappeared. In the woman's mind, why didn't she just meet Galuh from the beginning? This kind of man is what he had been expecting from David.
That night after he returned from a date with Galuh, Alwa told him the news.
"When?" ask Hanifah to Alwa.
"So morning, Brother. When Mas David talked to me alone at the dinner table," said Alwa.
"Which I leave you to talk alone?" Why did Hanifah's voice sound unhappy?
Alwa.
“So your status is now widowed, Dek?”
Alwa nodded again.
“You happy?”
“Ya Kak, more to the relief of kak,”
“Why?’
“Eh?”
“Life of widows is a disgrace, why are you happy?” Though his feelings were flowery towards Galuh. But why is it painful when you hear David is looking at Alwa?
“Eh?” Alwa was shocked by Hanifah's skepticism. “Since when was that widow a disgrace, sister? What about the wife whose husband died? Or the wife who was forced to sue for divorce because of her husband KDRT?! No one knows the age of a person, and not our desire to live a widow,”
“Jobbed for divorce live, in society still haunted by negative stigma, Dek. After all now that you still live in Mas David's house, is it worth it? At least you asked for divorce when you could live on your own feet, Dek!”
“But isn't Brother Hani worse? Brother Hani is still a wife but has cheated with Mas Galuh. At least now I'm not depressed and don't burden Mas David anymore,”
Hanifah direct emotion, “What do you mean, the hell Dek?! Big brother means well to protect you!”
“Women divorced in the form of talak raj’i, entitled to a living and shelter during the iddah period, so Kak Hani's words are unfounded!”
They stopped their arguments.
This time they had a big fight! Throughout their lives, Alwa and Hanifa lived together like brothers. Although they counted distant cousins, brother-in-law to brother-in-law, but they lived neighbors since infancy. Their parents were also quite familiar.
Now because of the problem that is already known the end, which is a marriage that is destroyed, they have to fight.
“I'm not having an affair,” hiss Hanifah while panting holding back her emotions. “I like Mas Galuh as a close friend,”
“I cheated on you, to be honest, brother. Hani also knows for herself. That's why I'm being stalked by David. And all that is destiny, so do not protest the life of someone who has been arranged Divinely,” Alwa does not want to lose.
“Hard head!” furious Hanifah.
“Jutek, judes, plin-plan!” reply Alwa again. Making Hanifah strangled in disbelief at the words that could come out of Alwa's mouth.
“That's what you thought of me all along, Dek?!” hanny is angry.
“Loh, should Kak Hani already know dong habits themselves, if Sister Susan who said so, why is Kak Hani not angry?! We are the same age, sister, only a few months different, why was I always considered a child? I'm showing you that I can move on from Mas David! As for the reason why he was looking at me first from Kak Hani, ask him yourself!” exclaim Alwa.
And because of his annoyance, the words of mockery came out of his lips, Alwa left Hanifah while stomping her feet towards her own room.
Just then, David and Susan came home from work.
“What's the fuss?” ask the man, “Until it sounds out. My greetings are also again unanswered,”
“Ah! Wa’alaikumsalam, Mas. Ordinary, small commotion,” Hanifah sounds grim.
“Little commotion? Ordinary how? You guys almost never fight until I consider you twin brothers,” snorted David.
Hanifah sat on the sofa while taking a deep breath. He tries to control his emotions.
David was right, this was his first fight with Alwa.
“Mas, why is it Alwa?” ask Hanifah weakly.
“Oh, that problem,” David sits on one of the sofas while casually crossing his legs. Susan sat next to him.
“We live a kara Mas, no more relatives who want to acknowledge us,” said Hanifah. “Mas David chanted Alwa, it means he will live alone from now on,”
“You sure?” ask David.
“Means?” Hanifah turned towards David with a frowning forehead.
“The reason I took it off first is because Raka asked me to ask for it herself. If Galuh is willing to come to me, or another man asks for you and he passes my judgment, I willingly release you,”
Hanifah. “Again I'm considered an item? Can I pass to and fro?” cynical hissing.
Susan nodded in agreement with Hanifah's statement. If he were Hanifah, he would say so too.
“Mas David, what if no one asks me? What if I'm not ready to get married again like Alwa? I've been married twice, Mom! Mas David think how do I feel?”
“So you want to hang with me and Susan here?”
“I no longer want to get married! Let me be with myself! I won't bother you either! That's my purpose of working, I will live alone!” yelling Hanifah while crying.
Then the woman ran to her room and slammed the door.
Brakk!!
Until David frowned because he was uncomfortable hearing his dings.
“Hihi,” sounds giggling Susan.
“What do you think?” ask David to Susan. They can still be calm because they are used to the behavior of Hanifah who likes to sulk it.
“Yah, Ipah is right. I poisoned her with the concept of womanizer, hehe,” Susan said.
“I want to see Papa tomorrow to talk about Alwa,” complained David.
"Yes, Raka has forced me to sign her sudden leave form, tonight she went to Lestari Village to pick up her Parents,"
"Hem, this is all I can do for the happiness of both of them,"
"Yes, I get it. My happiness too" Susan grinned.
