At a State Elementary School in a village, dozens of students gathered in the hall. In front of them were already a few teachers lined up neatly and ready to announce their graduation.
Not far from that school, there was a girl who was still preparing. He was wearing shoes on his doorstep. Then he called his parents.
"Sir, Buk, Wati went to school first yes" he said a little loudly because his parents were still behind the house. And they came out soon.
"Yes son. Hopefully later the results will not disappoint, son." said Pak Wawan.
"Aamiin" said Wati along with Ibu Yati.
"Yes, he's leaving there fast. Later you will be late again." said Bu Yati. "Badam Mama also wants to go to work growing corn in the fields of Pak Hendra" he continued.
"Wati will be followed?" ask Wati to her mother.
"Not to kid. You'll help Grandma at home." The father who answered.
"Yes already.that's the same Father Mother carefully yes. Assalamualaikum. " said Wati later while kissing the back of his parents' hands.
"Waalaikumsalam." replied the father of the mother together.
Wati also crossed the road to her school which is across from her house. Judging from the school gate, his friends had already gathered in the hall. With quick steps he headed towards the hall, as indeed all the students and teachers had already gathered. And he approached his friends who had gathered there.
There was also a commotion from those who could not wait to hear the results of graduation.
"I graduated, didn't I?" ask one of the students to a friend who is there.
"I entered the top 10 not yes" said another person who was a good student in his class.
And the commotion then turned silent as one of the teachers gave a warning to calm down.
"Please calm down, kids. I'm going to start announcing the results of your exam grade point average" Bu Tri said on behalf of the teachers. "And here it is confirmed that the graduation of SDN 01 Tunas Baru, stated.."the sentence still hangs and makes the students more boisterous waiting for the next sentence.
"100% PASS" he said later. And managed to make the students cheer up happily. They shook hands and hugged each other while congratulating.
The teachers smiled and were proud to see their students have successfully passed the graduation exam. And then Bu Tri began to announce one by one the average grades of each student from the lowest. The students went back to listen to their grades. Until the mention of names in the top 3...
"The one in rank 3 is there... Agnesian. The second was achieved by Joshua. And the highest value is achieved by students we did not expect before. And he is... Septiawati." she said proudly.
And the so-called even fell silent in disbelief. He was really surprised by what he just heard. Because, all this time he has never been ranked.Even to enter the top 5 he has never been. But it turns out that in the final exam graduation he was the one who got the highest score from his friends who had indeed got the achievement from the beginning.
"Septiawati. Let's go forward" said Bu Tri
But the one called still fell in disbelief. Until someone holds her shoulder and resuscitates her from the daydream.
"Dead." said a friend next to him.
"You were called from earlier. Forward ahead tuh." said Fitria later.
Wati also turned to the front and found Agnes and Jojo (familiar call Joshua) were already in front, on the side of Bu Tri. He was embarrassed to realize all eyes were looking at him. Then Wati stepped forward towards her two friends who were already at the teacher's side with their heads down.
"Wati, over here" Bu Tri said as he waved his hand for Wati to stand right next to him.
Wati, Jojo and Agnes have been standing next to Bu Tri in order of their rank.
"Well, this is what it looks like from students who managed to get a top 3 score this year. Hopefully the knowledge gained can be useful and their intelligence can be transmitted to other friends" said Bu Tri. And greeted the word "Aamiin" by all 6th grade students.
when all eyes looked forward, Wati also imagined how her parents felt when they found out that her son got the best score on her graduation exam.
"for sure they are very happy and proud" he said in his heart.
When all were happy because of their graduation, there were 1 person among the dozens of students who were unhappy. He was not satisfied with the results he got. And even Wati who should get the best value.
"kok can the he who even got the best score in this final exam, but it was during this time his score during the semester exam was standard and did not enter the top 5. why now, why now, in this final graduation exam he got the best grade and I was 4th.
Look, someday we'll see you again. And I will defeat in every way." he muttered among the crowd.

Septiawati.born 12 September 1998. quiet but friendly girl on everyone.
born from a simple family.the second child of 5 brothers.his brother 2 younger sisters and the youngest brother.
during school he did not talk much. not many friends who invite him to talk.including girls who are active but not good at getting along.only friends 1 his village who often invite him to talk. The rest, the rest, only talk as necessary to Wati. or only when studying in a group.
And when at home, Wati is a child who is quite obedient, loving towards her sisters, independent and likes to share. He also often helped his parents work in the fields during school holidays.
But his achievements were still closed all along. He also did not bother his parents so much because he almost never asked for pocket money to them. only when there are dues at school only. or indeed there is a certain thing he just asked his parents for money.
However, sometimes Wati's parents can't bear to see her daughter only see her friend snack while she will go home to eat during school breaks because her house is across from the school. so that the mother sometimes gives Wati pocket money even though not much.
And from the pocket money given by his mother he set aside some to use when he needs.that is why he rarely bothers parents about the affairs of his school fees.
