THE CANCER [ROCK CLIMBING]
Chapter 7's

Seven: Something new

...---...

What impression comes to your mind when passing through the BK space? Peering at students who are in trouble, or just through—acuh with their problems? This time Fufy felt someone peeking and eavesdropping on her conversation with the BK teacher.

Is correct. Fufy was summoned by the BK teacher because there was something important. But before that, Fufy was sitting patiently waiting for his name to be called.

This is like waiting in line for treatment in a hospital, or when waiting for a line of money loans. In front of Fufy stood a handsome man of school pride who was suddenly summoned to the BK room.

Uh, but that doesn't mean he's in trouble. That's something impossible for an exemplary student like him. Fufy forgot his name, but this year he became the best student of the first order of the parallel rankings. Really cool.

The guy that Fufy was referring to was laughing with teacher BK. I don't know what they're talking about, Fufy can't listen very well. Because they talk about lessons. Uninspiring.

"As you might expect. I chose you as the school representative. Can't do that?" ask the teacher BK.

The man nodded steadily. After all, who would dare to refuse a request from a BK teacher? Just Fufy, anyway.

Fufy took a breath, "I want to focus on non-academic ma'am, not academic."

"Why? Next year you're in 12th grade. What do you think of the third rank from the bottom?" Fufy.

Last week the distribution of semester report value. Of course it was a surprise day for Fufy. In fact, he got the smallest grade in his class. It was actually helped by non-academic grades, none other than rock climbing.

"Of the 76 students, ma'am," Fufy said in reply.

The BK teacher named Siti took a deep breath. "You don't want to be in the top 3 of the parallel? Or top 10 in class? Look, all the certificates, medals, and trophies won't come in handy when you're out of school. What you need is academic grades. You will be in trouble if you do not go to college. After this you'll be taking college, won't you?" Siti's bu's speech made Fufy stay silent for a long time.

"Yes." Yeah." Short Fufy replied.

"I'm just doing my favorite sport" said Fufy, "don't want to find my favorite experience in school?"

"A rock climbing exercise?" Fufy did not know if the speech leading to the answer was wrong. But Bu Siti's eyes glared at him.

"W-Did Mom forbid me to take part in a rock climbing race?" ask Fufy then.

Lady Siti smiled faintly, "Your hopes?"

Should Fufy say not expect much with this school? Schools that only value academic. The school that always races proves to the world, that he is the best. Schools with the highest IQ in Indonesia.

"Your mother came here." Siti's bu speech successfully made Fufy's body stiffen.

"He knew it." Fufy lowered his head, "He asked Mom to let you enter the race."

Sontak Fufy looked at Bu Siti asking. "Then, please fill out this form." Fufy's smile expanded.

"But before that—" Bu Siti took the paper, "He asked you to get the top ten position in the next semester."

Fufy's hand stopped moving when he wanted to pick up the form paper. Siswa—Cowok smart was standing next to him, and gave a paper to Bu Siti.

"Well, thank you, Ardi," said Ms. Siti.

So his name is Ardi. By the way, she had the same name as her super cold boyfriend. No news at all in these two weeks.

"approved? But if you can't, you may have to donate the winning trophy from that race." Lady Siti smiled kindly.

While Ardi, the guy who was high above Fufy's nose, nodded his head making Fufy turn to him.

"Then automatically Ardi, as a trusted and smartest student in this school will teach you. In a sense it will be your private tutor" explained Ms. Siti.

Fufy did not reply to the words of the BK teacher. He quickly filled out the permit form. Fufy confusion. For a moment, he lost an ambient soul in the sport of rock climbing. All sorts of questions filled his mind.

Even Ardi himself Fufy ignored him. Academic or non-academic grades haunted his mind.

...---...

Fufy's mood today is bad. Monitored when the active senior athletes greeted him, Fufy simply waved in return. He's not smiling. Even his own spirit, Fufy cueki.

Ardha shouted from afar, "THE HEAT OF BUTTERFLY FLOPS!"

Fufy hooked the safety strap to quickdraw. His eyes flashed staring at the top path of the peak. Trying to clear his mind, Fufy gave half a smile to Ardha.

This exercise will be a teacher's assessment of what he should be when following the race. The type taken by Fufy this time is lead climbing. It is called runner to runner.

The time taken in this type of climbing is fairly short.  Anyone who manages to hook the rope to the top of the peak, then he is the one who is recognized as the winner.

In this case, it takes intelligence from long thinking to reach the top of the peak with a fast track. Fufy himself was observing the paths on the board seriously.

His opponent this time was Ali. Senior who is actually the same age as him. Just a year older than Fufy. However, that doesn't make the castle the same as Fufy here.

"A great opportunity for you." Delivered by Fufy, as Ali challenged him.

"Excite" Ali added with a smile.

Fufy smiled in reply, "Excite as well."

"Ready, start!" shouted Mr. Indra enthusiastically.

Fufy began to climb, then re-attached the rope to the runner who had been fitted to the hanger. There are two types of lead climbing. Sport climbing and traditional climbing. Fufy takes sport climbing in the race, because the climbing tradition is done on a direct cliff.

Fufy glanced at Ali who passed by him. Fufy. The logic that Ali took very far with Fufy. But patiently Fufy continued to climb all the way to the top of the top.

"Origin! Best the!" the shouts from the other athletes made a proud smile imprinted on Ali's lips.

Fufy looked down, telling Ardha through the eyes. It would be a lie if Fufy was disappointed in himself. However, at a time like this, it is better if he thinks that seniors are still seniors.

"The sacred talisman was spoken again apparently," Ardha's throw made Fufy chuckle softly.

"I mean lead climbing is not my specialty." Fufy tried to justify his words. However, it seemed that Ardha did not believe the new sentence.

"Well, if so." Ardha aligned her legs with Fufy.

"It's so good," said Mada suddenly standing next to Ardha.

Ardha looked at her friend with a flat face. "I got together first, yeah," said Fufy later.

Fufy walked to the gathering place where the athletes were resting. Ardha stared at Fufy's departure with a sad face. Then Ardha's face turned furious, as his shoulder was struck by Mada.

"What?!" asked Ardha in a high tone.

Mada gave a wide grin, revealing a row of his lower teeth. "Don't be so angry, Om. Later the girl is afraid," said Mada.

"Talk a lot." Mada glared at the eyes of protest.

The sound of the punch back rang out, "Om. Just now we're playing chat. How is that, Om? Who taught the poles this way, anyway?!"

Ardha's face had already explained how lazy he was to talk to Mada. Because Mada talks a lot, making him sick.

"Diem." Mada's face turned disappointed. He looked at Ardha with a hard to interpret gaze.

Ardha stared in annoyance, "Najis!"

"When's the conflict?" Ardha's eyes glanced at Fufy, "sometimes."

"Your strength seems to be huge. Your ambitious soul is like an explosion" said Mr. Indra.

"The Aquarius child's soul is no doubt, sir!" saraswati made everyone cheer her up.

Mr. Indra replied to Saraswati, "This month Aquarius fully claps one hand, huh?"

Spontaneous Saraswati hugs Fufy, channeling her grief. "Huhu.., yes sir. Full of disappointment," she pretended to cry.

"Pity, oh pity." Levi shook his head while rubbing Saraswati.

"What?!" saraswati, "gapapa," Levi's great-granddaughter retorted in fear.

"Nt kasian." Saraswati's jaw muscles twitched as Mada mocked her.

"Diem, stupid!" geram Sarasvati.

Sontak Mada hid in Ardha's back. "Atut, I'm atut. There is the brother of the Most good," said Mada who was heard clearly by Saraswati.

Saraswati, who initially only joked, managed to ignite emotions. He approached Mada with a fierce face. His eyes were glaring as if he wanted to kill Mada right now. Furthermore, Mada immediately ran for protection with Mr. Indra.

"Here you! Losing me at the new speed can mock as much!" Saraswati challenges Mada.

Mr. Indra patted his forehead, "Am, sis."

"Most, most, my eyes are cut!" Mada swallowed his hard-earned saliva.

Then Mr. Indra raised his hand as a warning. "Already, already. Don't continue anymore. Let's apologize to each other" he said.

Saraswati crossed both hands, annoyed. While Mada grinned behind Saraswati. It makes everyone laugh.

Previously, Saraswati and Mada competed in the speed climbing route. Their session managed to make all the spectators tense, unable to dwell during the duration. Although so stressful, because of fellow senior athletes, Saraswati managed to beat Mada by a margin of one second.

"No way!" Mada held out her hand, "sorry dear."

"Sobbly!" Despite saying so, Saraswati still accepted Mada's advice and did the same.

The mood is serious again. Mr. Indra approached someone in the field. He told me no one should disperse before there was an order.

Fufy checked his phone for a bit, then gulped down his drinking water. His shoulders were patted, making Fufy have to turn his head while drinking water. Ardha.

"Have you paid the fee?" Ardha asked in a whisper.

Fufy nodded, "It's over. You alone?"

Ardha shook his head slowly in response. "Still waiting for confirmation of permission from parents" he replied.

Fufy lifted a thumb. "If allowed to, I buy fruit salad to be healthier," said Fufy, making Ardha look at him deeply.

"Seriously?" Fufy nodded steadily.

"Then I'll teach you how to make salad if you win" Ardha replied.

They looked at each other for a moment with their own thoughts. It was as if there was a magnet dragging them to bring out an ambient soul. Fufy and Ardha together nodded with a smile.

"Hallo, everybody. Please pay attention for a moment," said Mr. Indra to make the atmosphere become quiet.

Mr. Indra invited someone next to him to sit with the athletes. "Include, this is the mantra that will join you in the provincial race next Sunday" explained Mr. Indra.

Fufy widened his eyes, "Mantra?"

The girl named Mantra smiled greeting Fufy. Fufy was about to return her smile, but her hand was patted by Saraswati.

"He's spreading a negative aura."
