24. Expelling Criminals

He Xun immediately sat down in front of He Yue and ate the noodles ordered by He Yue, it seemed to have almost cooled down.

He Yue's face looked gloomy, seemingly because it was being bullied by the villainous criminal earlier which was very annoying, he thought.

"Yue, is there something bothering you ?" Ask He Xun.

"Nothing, it's just that I feel that if you're a little late then I don't know if I can still meet you or not. " Said He Yue then tears flowed in her beautiful eyes.

He Xun sighed softly and put his chopsticks on top of the bowl then walked towards He Yue and patted the little girl on the shoulder.

"It's okay, in the future I'll teach you martial arts so you can protect yourself." He Xun.

"If so, will Master leave me ? Doesn't Master want to take care of me anymore ? Is it because I eat too much or does Master feel that I'm too noisy ?" He Yue asked sadly.

"I might not be able to protect you in the future so you should be able to protect yourself. " Said He Xun.

"But, if because I am cultivating then Master will leave me then I will never touch the path of cultivation ! I want to go with Mr !" Said He Yue with watery round eyes, looking extremely pitiful.

"Yue, with you training in cultivation then you can also help me if we fight the enemy. Imagine, what if we were supposed to win but since I have to protect you as well then we become losers ?" He Xun asked frankly.

Hearing this made He Yue's head bowed deeply and those two small hands that were smooth and pale white like snow seemed to be squeezing her own dress to suppress her emotions.

He Yue wiped her tears and began to eat her noodles again while He Xun again sighed and walked towards his original seat.

"Yue, all you have to know is if you can cultivate then that doesn't mean that's why I left you. But the future cannot be predicted. If you can't protect yourself, who are you going to depend on ?" Ask He Xun.

"Sir, take it easy, I understand. I will never disappoint the hope given by you. " Said He Yue while looking down and trying to hide her sadness.

They spent their food in silence and awkwardness until He Xun finally bought a mattress for the two of them, so that in each room there would be one mattress and they did not sleep in one room.

After ordering it all, He Xun asked a woodworker to repair his residence.

After taking care of everything, He Xun returned to his residence and the mattress had been in between, the one room in front was his and the one inside belonged to He Yue.

"How ? Is there anything you're less comfortable with ?" He Xun asked He Yue.

"Nothing is uncomfortable, everything is fine. " Said He Yue while staring around with great admiration.

"Sir, why is your room so plain and unadorned ? While you put paintings and vases of flowers in my room ? " Task He Yue in confusion.

"It's okay, I just feel like it's good enough. I'm not used to sleeping in a place that's too good, otherwise I won't be able to sleep well. " Say He Xun with an innocent smile.

"Of course, why not ?" He Xun asked casually.

"If I'm not mistaken, then when the bad guy comes, he says as if you and him have known for a long time, your clan is also the same as his, are you originally a family ?" He Yue asked doubtfully.

Hearing this made He Xun pause for a moment then laugh lightly.

"We were family but not close, me and him like fire and water. Ever since my father and mother died, indirectly I had almost no relationship left with her. " Said He Xun.

He Yue listened to her Master's past carefully and found out that it was a sensitive topic so He Yue did not discuss it anymore.

"No need to say it anymore. It doesn't matter anymore, as long as there's a Master protecting me then I'll be fine. " Say He Yue with absolute confidence in He Xun.

Unexpectedly, just sitting casually on the chair that had been ordered by him, the door of his house had been knocked.

"It looks like the exciting show is about to start. Yue, sit here quietly and see how your master handles these ignorant people. "Speak He Xun lazily and when he opened the door, it was true that there was a group of thugs who had been expelled earlier in the Shop.

"Young man, this is the day of your death ! Our master is interested in challenging you, Ha ha ha !" Shouted one of the people who was in the store earlier.

In front of him was a burly and bald-headed man carrying a broadsword, He Xun looked at the person cynically.

"You're a cultivator or a butcher ?" Ejek He Xun's.

"Young man, you have a brave mouth, look how this elder taught you how to speak good words !" Say the person in front of him.

"Good elder, please teach me ! Lightning Dragon Sword, summon !" His orders while sneering.

The Lightning Dragon Sword was still inside its sheath and He Xun felt that there was no need to remove its sheath to fight this group of nosy people.

With the sword still gloved, the clash with the big sword belonging to the head of the Thugs then He Xun jumped on the sword belonging to the thug and pulled back his sword.

The thug was surprised by his actions that arrived and He Xun gave a kick on the person's shoulder before finally returning to land on the ground with an overbearing face.

"Please teach him, good elder. " Ejek He Xun's.

"Hmph ! Don't be proud, young man ! I've just warmed up and you've been very serious !" Said the thug looking for an excuse to cover up his defeat.

"Alright, I happen to have just warmed up too, not even my hands have moved at all. " Say He Xun with a haughty face.

"Look, to make this more interesting I'll make an offer for you. If you can defeat me in 3 moves then I will bow down to you and call you as my father, but if you lose then you should do the same, that is to bow down to me and call me your father. How ?" He Xun asked with an evil chuckle while He Yue looked at his fighting Master with admiration.
