The Child I Called My Brother

The Child I Called My Brother
A joke.

Sena returned home from school intercepted by Lian, the man still asked for certainty over what Sena said, the man still believes that all this is just a prank that is common among teenagers like them.

"I lost Father Lian, you think I'm kidding. And even if I was joking, I would feel most grateful, because what? Because of this joke I can see what your love and responsibility are like." Sena said while pointing at Lian's face.

" So right! You were kidding me yesterday?" Sena was again made head bobbles with the man's words.

" It's up to you! What is certain is that between the two of us there is no relationship." His words again before the call from the mother who greeted him.

"Sena."

Sena immediately pushed Lian's body away from her, upon hearing her mother's call.

The woman then ran towards a parked car not far from them. Once beside his mother Sena immediately kissed the back of his hands and cheeks.

"According to your request, you've spoken to your principal and homeroom teacher, you can stay home until graduation, all your grades are good, so you don't need to go to school for grades." Obviously the mother, as soon as Sena sat in the car right next to her mother. " Why is he your samperin?" Ningsih asked when she remembered Sena had talked to Lian.

"He just wanted to make sure Sena was just lying ma! Sena's giving him a lift." Sena replied, as she shed her tears, every time she remembered about Lian and all her deeds, Sena's tears would definitely melt. Not because of his feelings of love for the man but because of his regrets.

" Not to be remembered again, tomorrow you will no longer come to school." Sena nodded her head. After that his mother ran their car, leaving the school grounds.

Without Sena noticing, back there, Lian continued to stare at their car, until it disappeared from her sight.

But who would have thought, it all ended prematurely because he said that time and everything Lian did, had hurt Sena so deeply. Until the woman refused to look back.

Lian also wouldn't know if today was the last day she saw Sena and maybe forever it would be like that.

"Dear to see what the hell." The dance that had appeared out of nowhere, was now behind the man. Wrapped his hands around Lian's waist with no idea of her shame.

"It's nothing?" Answer Lian quickly. " It's over, we're home now." Ask again. Dance nodded her head.

After that, the two left the school. Lian drove her motorcycle at high speed, deliberately to catch up with her mother Sena's car, she wanted to see the woman even though it was just from behind the car glass and it seemed like God was on her side.

At the red light, the bike stopped right next to Sena's mother's car. Lian could see Sena sitting while resuscitating her head on the windshield and looking straight ahead. The transparent glass of the car made Lian able to see the woman.

Meanwhile in the car, her mother Sena realizes the existence of the young man she knows has ruined her daughter's future.

Ningsih will not be foolish by slapping or holding the man accountable, because she knows here her daughter is also wrong. He let the man believe that the law that God loves hurts more than he gives. Simply encourage Sena to get out of this problem and create a new future for her daughter. That way he can make the young man regret, because living in regret is much more convincing than a law itself.

As soon as the lights turn green, Ningsih again continues their journey from behind the rearview mirror he can see Lian's motor continues to follow them, until he is forced to spin around and in the end Lian tired of following them.
